    Hi. I recently bought Enfold and I am using it in combination with Woocommerce and their extension called Product Add-ons.
    The problem is in the layout, on product pages where the Product Add-ons are used and related products are displayed at the bottom.

    Product without add-ons – layout is ok:
    https://www.alandra.be/product/soekris-net6501-30-board-case-only/

    Product with add-ons – add to cart button in related products (bottom) is shown twice:
    https://www.alandra.be/product/soekris-net6501-50-complete-set/
    Once in blue, once in the standard enfold style. The 2 buttons also do different things. The blue one is the correct one.

    What could be causing this?

    Thanks in advance.

    Yigit – in your reply above from June 16, you provide a screen cap of the Magic Wand menu – I’m wondering why my magic wand menu doesnt look like this or offer all those options? I’m running Enfold v 2.9. Wondering if I’m missing a plugin, or if I’ve overlooked a setting somewhere.

    thanks
    nevermind. answered my own question (and cant see a way to delete this post) – thx.

    Hi Daniela,

    I can’t reproduce the error on my Enfold install, have tried with both Text Elements and Code Elements. As a workaround you can put this code in functions.php to hide PHP warning messages:

    error_reporting(E_ERROR | E_PARSE);

    I hope someone can help with some basics. I am using the Enfold Map Element.
    I have entered a name and address in the Marker Tooltip.

    I am trying to get the name working as a Hyperlink but it is not working perfectly.

    I try this: `<a href=”/portfolio-item/slider-two-third/” target=””>Town Hall></a>
    Corporation Street
    Huddersfield
    West Yorkshire
    HD1 2TA`

    and am left with a > at the end of Town Hall

    I try this: `<a href=”/portfolio-item/slider-two-third/” target=””><strong>Town Hall><strong/></a>
    Corporation Street
    Huddersfield
    West Yorkshire
    HD1 2TA`

    and the whole line for Town Hall does not show. (my theme colour for Bold is blue and just putting strong around some text does work)

    Can someone test this and see if I am doing something wrong?

    I am trying to link the Marker Tooltip text to a page on my site of course.

    Many thanks,
    H

    *note that the above ‘ has been inserted into this post as I used the code button before and after (I presume that is the correct thing to do when inserting HTML into forum posts)

    There are some posts titles where I have had to add a little bit of html like a img src for a quick small icon…its great and simple as it adds a little flag for the origin of a post right in front of the title.The problem is that any mouseover the thumbnail in the masonry or on the latest post or on the story itself shows a title mouseover with the html (obviously)

    I need to remove all these titles on mouseover from showing at all anywhere on the site.
    Recommendations?
    Thanks in advance

    I updated to the latest version of Enfold today, now my website is broken. The header looks horrible and the following error message shows multiple times down each page Warning: strpos() expects parameter 1 to be string, array given in /home4/godzilla/public_html/wp-content/themes/zilla/header.php on line 108. Please help!

    Url is Zillawraps.com

    Devin,

    Actually, while I was waiting on a response I discovered that Enfold allows you to create a custom widget area in the Widgets section under Appearance, where you can place any widget.

    Once created, the widget area appears in the Avia Layout Builder / Contents Elements / Widget Area and you can use it in a page or blog.

    Please share this with others; it’s a powerful feature!

    Thanks,
    E.Jay

    Hi guys, i don’t think i’m making myself clear, the code you have supplied (thanks anyway) underlines the breadcrumb text, if you look at the website http://www.bloxwichfencing.co.uk you will see the page title and breadcrumbs text sit inside a green bar, which fills the full width of the page. The green bar top border is black, but the green bar bottom border is grey (as this is the default border colour i have used in the enfold settings), but i want this green bar bottom border to be black, i have tried to draw it below:
    —————————————————————————————————————– green bar top border is black
    HOME you are here: Home
    —————————————————————————————————————– green bar bottom border (I NEED THIS TO BE BLACK)

    hope this is clearer? thanks guys… :-)

    Hi all.

    Same sort of thing happening here today. Concerning the layer slider, the accordion slider, and then some. So I found this thread, and indeed the code fix helped a lot. Replacing the >>> if($meta[‘index’] == 0) $params[‘close’] = false;

    Yet, this doesn’t work for the accordion slider. If I execute that in that php-file an error comes up on top of the frontend website. So that’s a no-go. Leaving me in a status quo position: saving certain pages leads to blank screens with notice messages. Yet, the changes then have been saved, and the visitors don’t see any of it. So it ‘seems’ only the accordion slider has some flaw-like thing. But now, as I read everything here, I’m worried about the future: what will happen when updating theme and WP the next time?

    A short hint to how this appeared, as well as where the flaw could be: I’ve moved the website (hch-cursussen.nl) from a subdomain to the root domain folder. And faced some problems in that process. For one, in the subdomain version all was just perfect. Now, moved, WordPress doesn’t send out any mails. Not when using the contact forms, not the admin mails, not for the forum, not for other notifications. Nothing. And, even though it seems like that is a problem on the server side, today I wanted to see what would happen if I just rebuilt it all. A fresh WP installation, a fresh Enfold, connecting this to the database, and uploading WordPress XML and Enfold theme settings files. The result sucked, I removed this reinstall with FTP, and I moved back the original files with FTP. And that’s where the misery begins. Like I talked about in an other post on this website, some days ago: error messages on top of the website, after trying to do 1 simple thing in a WP-uploads file. Which I will never even think of doing again, ever.

    So anyway, this kind of problems occurs only from such a moment on. Pretty distinct. I’m so very not techie that I have no clue whether the problems are based in the db, or in WP, or in theme files. But the moment of entry of these is pretty distinct.

    I’m awaiting the host’s reply concerning the non-functional e-mail. Since this is what the php-test gave me (which tells me they can somehow fix this again, right?) :
    Warning: mail() has been disabled for security reasons in /srv/hchcur/www/www.hch-cursussen.nl/test.php on line 1

    I will let you know right here (if the thread is still open) whether I encounter new problems concerning the notices and warnings.

    Since I upgraded to Enfold 2.9.1, the secondary menu has disappeared. The phone number and social icons still show, but the part of the menu that was created in WordPress>Appearance>Menus and designated as the “Enfold Child Secondary Menu – will be displayed if you selected a header layout that support a submenu here)” is not showing. How do I fix?

    Nevermind: I found it! It was a top margin issue. I added some more top margin and it moved into view.

    Hi All,

    I’m rebuilding this site http://www.perthshireopenstudios.com/ with the Enfold theme at http://79.170.40.167/pos.com/

    One of the features the client likes about the existing site is the portfolio categories are displayed within a portfolio page as you’ll see here: http://www.perthshireopenstudios.com/portfolio/andrew-hunter-2/

    You’ll notice it further down the page above the map area, the two categories displayed are “drawing” and “painting”.

    This shows the categories this current artist is related to, what it also does is allow you to click on them and it will then display other artists throughout the site who are also part of that category.

    Can I emulate this feature in Enfold? if so can you point out how please?

    Any help is much appreciated, thanks in advance.

    Hey sdbroker!

    Thank you for using our theme.

    No, by default a second button is not supported. If you like that, you have to change the php code to implement it.

    To fix the problem with the click event try to put the following in custom.css or Enfold->styles->Qick-CSS field:

    #top .main_color .avia-color-theme-color {
        z-index: 5000;
    }

    Cheers!

    Hey sureshakula!

    The breadcrumb structure and the permalink structure are independent from each other and they may vary from each other. If the breadcrumb structure of the post doesn’t work as intended (like on the demo page here: http://kriesi.at/themes/enfold/2014/04/28/new-electric-cars-are-getting-really-fast/ ), make sure the Blog page is set on the theme options page (Enfold > Theme Options). The structure should be

    Home > Blog Page Title (Link) > Category (Link) > Post Title

    Regards,
    Peter

    #296439

    Hi Arran!

    1) Please try to use the Codestyling plugin to translate or change existing text strings. Download and install the plugin ( http://wordpress.org/plugins/codestyling-localization/ ), go to Tools > Localization and select “Themes”. Then search for “Enfold” in the list and select your language and click on “Rescan” to search for all text strings. Afterwards click on “Edit” and translate/change the text strings from the “avia_framework” textdomain (i.e. search for “read more” and in the right column insert “Keep Reading”). At least click the “create mo file” button next to the “Textdomain” selection dropdown (top left corner).

    2) Which blog layout do you use? You can deactivate the image link with css code (which may vary based on the blog layout). For the default layout you can use this code – insert it into the quick css field:

    .single .big-preview.single-big {
      pointer-events: none;
    }

    Cheers!
    Peter

    #296429

    Hi!

    1) I uploaded the files here: https://www.mediafire.com/?4xvw8la68gv824t

    2) You just need to unzip the sensei.zip file and upload the unpacked sensei folder into the wp-content/themes/enfold/ folder.

    3) Yes, if you use the automatic theme update feature of wordpress. No if you update the theme files with ftp (just overwrite the existing theme files on your server): https://vimeo.com/channels/aviathemes/67209750

    4) I added this code into the quick css field to fix the comments styling:

    #top.single-lesson #comments{ clear: both; padding-top: 20px; }

    5) I noticed someone added php code into the quick css field – that’s not possible. You can place the php code into the enfold/functions.php file or child theme functions.php file but the quick css field will not execute or accept any php code. For reference I attached the php code below…

    // dave add published comments.
    add_action('sensei_single_main_content', 'dc_add_comments_to_template');

    function dc_add_comments_to_template() {
    	//Gather comments on the post
    	$comments = get_comments(array(
    		'post_id' => get_the_ID(),
    		'status' => 'approve' //Change this to the type of comments to be displayed
    	));

    	//Display the list of comments

    	echo '<div class="entry-comments"><ul>';

    	wp_list_comments(array(
    		'per_page' => 10, // Allow comment pagination (optional)
    		'type' => 'comment', // Very important! Otherwise you get Woo's comments for some internal process.
    		'reverse_top_level' => false // Show the latest comments at the top of the list
    	), $comments);

    	echo '</ul></div>';

    }
    // end of dave's code

    Regards,
    Peter

    Hi,

    I really like the new lightbox in 2.9! But I’d like to exclude the featured image of a post in the lightbox.
    Suppose I have a blog item with 3 images and a featured image. When I click on the last image the lightbos says
    3/4 and when I click the next image button it will show the featured image and not the first image from my blog item.

    At the moment my featured images are png’s and the lightbox I’m using right now excludes png’s.
    Is there a way to let the new lightbox exclude the featured image or png’s?

    Best regards,
    Arjan

    Hi haydozmcl!

    First try updating the theme to the most recent release so we can make sure there isn’t an older bug causing an issue with the table layout on mobile. I know its been looked and tweaked a bit these past few updates.

    For a quick guide on updating your theme take a look at: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/

    Hey reederjack5252!

    What settings are you saving for the h5? Looking at the css file that gets saved when you change a style option I don’t see anything for the new style there.

    I went to Enfold in my dash board them theme update.

    Hi jzguest!

    Go to your WordPress Settings->Reading and make sure that the home page is set to display most recent posts. Then in your theme settings that the theme has the home page and blog setup. See: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/setting-your-home-and-blog-pages/

    Then go to your Settings->Permalinks and change the to default and see if that helps. After you can change it back to post name or whatever you had it set to previously.

    If it doesn’t work at that point then you would need to try the steps posted in the codex here: http://codex.wordpress.org/Using_Permalinks#Fixing_Permalink_Problems

    Cheers!

    Where can I find these cool buttons that you have on your site on the home page under BEAUTIFUL & FUNCTIONAL WORDPRESS THEMES (View Themes or Learn More) in the Enfold theme?

    Also, the twitter and facebook drop down ones under the PREMIUM THEMES HAPPY CUSTOMERS & SUPPORT & UPDATES?

    They are really nice.

    And I am a happy customer!

    Hey!

    Please understand that LayerSlider is *not* programmed, written or directly supported by us here at Kriesi.at. We are doing our best to try and assist in getting the settings correct for you but ultimately the individual is responsible for setting up any slideshows and getting them to look exactly like you want.

    If you want a more frustration free experience I would suggest picking up a copy of Revolution slider as I’ve found it to be superior to Layerslider. At Enfold’s initial release Layerslider was more popular which is why Kriesi purchased a license to include it in the theme instead of Revolution.

    Creating multiple topics complaining about not getting support how you want and when you want is not going to help anyone.

    Best regards,
    Devin
