Just discovered the this issue with icons not loading has now also appeared using Chrome after updating Enfold to version 2.9.2 this morning. The only browser that is still displaying Enfold content element icons is Safari. See private link to my site posted on this thread for reference.

Hi Günter!
You can add your own versions of the layout builder elements/shortcodes from a child theme. See: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/add-new-or-replace-advanced-layout-builder-elements-from-child-theme/

Devin
Hey!
The current version of Enfold is 2.9.2 so if you are updating *to* 2.5.2 it isn’t one where we would expect it to be compatible with the current version of WordPress and all supported plugins

Devin
Tried to import the dummy content again because everything from previous installations had been deleted. The dummy created a “main menu” (saved as “Enfold main menu”), but this menu doesn’t seem to work when opening the homepage. Again, all dummy pages are all over the place. Any idea why?
I recently noticed content element icons I have used in my Enfold themed sites are not displayed correctly in Firefox or Internet Explorer. They are loading perfectly fine in Chrome and Safari. I am using the latest versions of WP, Enfold and all browsers. Any suggestions on why and how to fix this are greatly appreciated.
Best,
Keith
Hey rtimberlake!
No unfortunately not right now. I know its something Kriesi has talked about but with how much time he has been devoting to Enfold directly it hasn’t been made a priority.
So for now the only place to get the Avia Layout Builder is with the Enfold theme.
Best regards,
Devin
If you don’t have a menu defined in your WordPress admin “Appearance->Menus” area then all of the pages will be displayed by default. Once you set a menu to be displayed as the main menu then it will be more organized.
See: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/setting-up-your-mega-menu/
Confused. Regarding using the Avia builder on blog posts…
Above you say
Do you mean blog posts? If so, it is still possible to use Avia Layout Builder on blog posts but it is something that we do not recommend or support.
Later, you give instructions to do this (what I was looking for).
Make sure that you’re running Enfold version 2.9.2. Go to Enfold > Blog Layout panel then set the Blog Style to the very last option. This will enable the blog to be edited using the Advance Layout Builder.
Are you referring to the same thing? Can’t read the original question…
Thanks.
Yup, in fact the version.txt on the folder reads “2014 July 9th – Version 2.9.1”
I’ve extracted the enfold.zip, deleted the original folder in godaddy and replaced with that. Still not working…
Any troubleshooting suggestions?
Thanks
Hi,
I’ve recently find this website made with Enfold http://www.moving-to-russia.com/moving-volume-calculator/
Does anyone knows how this volume calculator was created?
Thank you!
Hello, and thanks for the fantastic theme. I am a diehard fan!
I am trying to add a CSS image hover effect to a page on my site. It utilizes Modernizr and moves an image on hover to reveal a caption underneath. You can see the effect working here, along with the code and some fairly simple CSS.
[See Private Link 1]
However, when I move this CSS into my Enfold child theme and insert the HTML into a WordPress page, the CSS is being over-ridden by Enfold styles and is not working correctly.
[See Private Link 2]
Can you point me to where I can (A) disable the default a img hover effects for Enfold; and (B) neutralize the theme CSS that is interfering with effect?
Thank you!
Hey!
Have you downloaded freshly from ThemeForest? If not, please login on ThemeForest with the account you have purchased Enfold and go to Downloads to download the latest version 2.9.2.
Cheers!

Hey ianstudio!
You can go to Appearance > Widgets and place empty text widget inside your widget areas not to display them. Also you can go to Enfold theme options > Footer Layout and choose to display only socket

Hi mazerti!
Please add following code to Quick CSS in Enfold theme options under General Styling tab
.search span.post-meta-infos, .search .entry-content {
display: none;
}
You can simply remove the code when you would like to display them again
Cheers!

Hi dpogreba!
Thank you for choosing Enfold!
Have you tried deactivating all active plugins and checked if that helps?
Cheers!

Hi kajeclarke!
Please add following code to Quick CSS in Enfold theme options under General Styling tab
@media only screen and (max-width: 767px) {
.responsive .logo a, .responsive .logo img {
max-width: 85%;
height: auto !important;
margin-left: 0!important;
}}
Also please go to Enfold theme options > Header Layout > Mobile Menu > Header Mobile Menu activation and choose 990px.
Best regards,
Yigit
Hi CoolPenguinSays!
Please see – http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/change-the-default-font-size/
You can also go to Enfold theme options > Advanced Styling tab and adjust some elements individually

Just a bit more information:
I know that this problem lies with the theme itself, because if I change theme, then I see the site change immediately, but if I change back to Enfold, then it still continues to load this old DELETED phantom CSS file.
Is there a way to change the font sizes throughout the enfold site with ease?
Kevin.
Hi cameron329!
You are probably using an older version of Enfold theme. Please update Enfold to the latest version 2.9.2 via FTP – http://vimeo.com/67209750

Hi,
I uploaded the dummy content for “Enfold” to these 2 websites:
1. http://www.facialfitnessworkout.co.uk/ : I need to delete all dummy content, because …
2. I created a testing website for “Enfold” where the dummy content has created the following chaos:
http://www.templates.4ucreated.co.uk/ – the “testing” website. Everything seems to have gone wrong. I deleted the theme in cpanel on the server, installed it again, but the dummy content is still there.
How can I get rid of the dummy content? Deleting & re-installing the theme doesn’t do the trick. The dummy content is straight back. Where is it located?
Thanks,
Susanne
Es porque en /ulbsports/ estas usando la ultima version de Enfold (2.9.1). Lo que podrías hacer si es que realmente quieres mantener parallax en mobiles seria reemplazarla con una versión anterior de esas webs donde si funciona.
Hi!
It should help. As a workaround, you can change background color to black by adding following code to Quick CSS in Enfold theme options under General Styling tab
.home .avia-slide-wrap {
background-color: black;
}
Best regards,
Yigit
Hi Ismael,
Thanks for the reply. Am I right in thinking, because I have the enfold child theme installed, that I create a new functions.php and just insert this line? Or do I copy the whole of the functions.php into the child theme and then do the above?
Thanks,
H
Hey!
Yes, it seems like you are still using Enfold version 2.4.2. Please choose to overwrite all files :)
Cheers!

Hi Jens!
I don’t know the plugin “Image Zoom” but you can use Magic Zoom for Woocommerce. There is a dedicated WordPress plugin and it works nicely with Enfold and the other Kriesi themes (we use Kriesi themes for our own sites).
Alternatively, you can go one better and use Magic Zoom Plus. It zooms on hover and enlarges on click which is great for mobile devices. There is a WooCommerce plugin for it. It’s a commercial plugin and we’re planning a discount coupon for Kriesi users so request that if you’re going to license it for your store.
Best,
Jake
