I have the same issue as the other users after the update (the page continue to load).
I’ve made the ftp update of both WP and Enfold.
Deactivated all plugins and disinstalled the unnecessary ones.

I want to publish a full website (a landing page) within an iframe on my site. I don’t want any scrolling bars, it should just look as if I am on that site itself. I have been searching but could not find a working example.
Is there anybody who know how to do this? I am using the Enfold theme.

If I use the code you supplied to remove dates from posts in quick CSS, is this retained when the theme is updated?
.post-meta-infos { display: none !important; }This seems to work so far, but I would prefer to put it in my child theme. After much searching of the forum, I only found the quick CSS answer. If there is a version of this I can put in my child theme would you please supply it?
BTW, how to rid a website of all posted dates seems to be a remarkably common search for every theme I have every used. I love the way the blog elements are modified in the Enfold theme. Being able to check/uncheck the meta to display on the post itself is great. But so many people use wordpress for sites that are not blogs. Would you consider adding a way to remove ALL post date references in future updates? After seeing how many people ask that question or a similar one, I’ll bet you could seriously reduce support time on that topic.
Thank youI had the same issue after upgrading to 4.0. I turned off ALL plugins, upgraded enfold, same issue continued.
I then RE-updated 4.0 wordpress and closed browser (cleared cache) and opened again, it works for me, however, a customer who I made the site for still sees the spinning wheel of death. I have asked them to clear their cache and try again. will update.
For those who are following the directions to clear, dont forget to clear cache (and close ALL browsers, if your like me several open at once they retain the cache until closed) then try again. works now for me (just not customer whom it is most important for.

I can confirm 100% that it occurred for me today after updating WordPress and wasnt cleared until after Enfold was updated and WordPress Re-Installed.—-

Before I update to 2.9.2 I need to create a child theme for Enfold. The question I have is, is this the right stuff to put in the css.style file?

I wanted to add the Google Font Titillium Web (https://www.google.com/fonts/specimen/Titillium+Web) to my website so followed the instructions on https://kriesi.at/support/topic/using-custom-google-font/
Here’s my problem. When editing the functions.php file, the instructions want you to add this (using Monda as an example):
$fonts[‘Monda’] = ‘Monda’;
If you want to add Titillium+Web, you would add this:
$fonts[‘Titillium+Web’] = ‘Titillium+Web’;
But when Enfold renders the page, it creates css with the font family ‘Titillium+Web’ however the actual font family is ‘Titillium Web’, ie, no +
I assume the code is picking up the name of the font family from the functions.php file, but you can’t change that to remove the + otherwise the font isn’t picked up in the first place.
I’m stuck between a rock and a hard place and for now I have just used the custom CSS to force the font family to ‘Titillium+Web’ where I need it, but I think that is messy.
Any ideas?
I have the EXACT same problem after updating to wordpress 4.0, i already had the latest version of enfold though.
No editor loads just spinning circle.
Can only see the general enfold settings nothing else.

Hallo zusammen,
ich habe vorhin das WP 4.0 Update durchgeführt, seit dem wird nur noch eine Blank Page mit dem Fehler “ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE” angezeigt.
Alle Plugins wurden deaktiviert, dennoch wird das Problem damit nicht behoben.
WP Maintenance Modus funktioniert und wird dargestellt.PHP Version: 5.3.3-7+squeeze21
Enfold Version: 2.9.2

Hi,
Been having problems with Theme editor since the auto update to WordPress 4.0
I followed the instructions and updated my theme to version 2.9.2 via FTP, but when I go to manage themes it stills says that I/m running version 2.9.1.
I made sure I downloaded the latest version of enfold and followed the FTP instructions from the video link and still not working.
Please help.

FWLAWhen you click Advanced layout editor on a new page nothing happens. When you visit a page that was created with Avia a wheel just spins in the content area.
Enfold “Show all options” will also not load.

Q 1. In wp-content/themes/enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-shortcodes/section.php the array value below appears to disable video controls. What is the array value if I want to enable video controls?

Before purchasing Enfold, I was using another theme and made individual posts to display my videos. Each post included 1 or more related videos and a bit of copy about that type of video. Each post was a “case study” of sorts that served as a portfolio – to demonstrate a type of video my customer might consider using and why. As a result, I had over 20 sub categories under the (parent) video category. For example, I had subcategories like event video, how-to video, news video, location tour, etc.
When I applied the Enfold theme, I started experimenting with various layouts and have cobbled together a bit of the options…but the portfolio section is not working the way I would like. If I had been building a website from the beginning, I assume that instead of post categories I would have made portfolio categories for each of these subcategories and displaying them would be simple.
Unfortunately, the categories referenced in the portfolio items seem to be totally separate from post categories. Can I connect a category called Video in Post Categories with the Video category in Portfolio Categories?
Short of starting over, is there a way to utilize the portfolio items with the post categories and/or tags that I have already assigned to my existing posts? I thought about adding portfolio categories with the same names, but assume that would cause trouble. In this situation, is it possible to switch between other themes and Enfold without having to re-enter all of the information previously in posts? Unfortunately, all of those posts (and their assigned URLs) are already out there and indexed so if I have to re-enter them I will have duplicate content all over the website.
Any suggestions please?
I’m finding this hard to sort out because I don’t really understand the way portfolio items are different from custom pages or how post categories and portfolio categories might work together. I’ve watched the videos and read the documentation, but most of it assumes that you are starting a new website.Thank you for any documentation or information you can provide.

Seems to be a LayerSlider thing, in this case i’d recommend using Revolution Slider, it’s the plugin the other page is using and it has full compatibility with Enfold.

JosueI just did a fresh install of WordPress 4.0 for a new site. The first thing I did was install the latest Enfold theme and activate it. Then I populated it with the “dummy data” so I would have a starting point. However, it doesn’t look right. The menu overlaps the logo and the slider. I’ve used Enfold before and I can’t figure out why this is happening. I did not have this problem before.

I have read about trouble with Enfold 2.9.2 and WP SEO by Yoast about it changed randomly urls slug and seo metas and titles on homepage. This comes now on subpages too and it comes with Pro version of WP SEO from Yoast. Even I write into sep metas and title fields, after saving page, it has some random tags in it from a post.
My page has the AVIA blog post element in it.
When do we get a bugfix from you?

Hey afarahani!
Please make sure you’re using the lates tversion of WPML and the media libary extension. Update Enfold to the latest version 2.9.2. Then deactivate all plugins and re-activate WPML and all WPML extensions. Then check you galleries and try to set the images on your Farshi website.

1) It’s definitely no theme issue because I can reproduce it with any other theme on your server and no other Enfold user reported this issue. You can test this by yourself, switch to TwentyThirteen (default WordPress theme) and then try to open this page: http://www.caffechiriatti.ch/my-account/edit-address/billing – you’ll still get the “Not found” error.
2) You’re using an outdated WPML. Please install the latest version of WPML (which has the version number 3.1.7.x) and update all the WPML extensions. Then install this plugin: http://wordpress.org/plugins/woocommerce-multilingual/
