    Hi,

    I have two sites using the Enfold theme (both bought separately) and I’m having the hardest time updating the sites with the latest version of Enfold. I have searched the forum for answers and have tried everything I can find. I’ve followed the directions from this link using FileZilla http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/ and it still does not show the update on WordPress. Can someone please help?

    1.) What do you mean by “direction”?

    2.) It is already set to loop and autoplay, but you can edit config-templatebuilder > avia-shortcodes > section.php to manually control the video options:

    I’d suggest either re-creating the tables as Tables (Enfold ALB) elements or using a external plugin like Tablepress which supports CSV importing.

    You can use the masonry gallery if you want a custom link for each image but you can also insert 1/4 column layouts. Add the Image element on each columns then configure the Image Link? option.

    The advance layout builder and wp bakery visual composer have a lot in common, unfortunately, they won’t work well together because of script conflicts. You can use the Video element if you want o embed videos. In case you have questions, please take some time to review all of the resources in the Theme Documentation as a lot of basic stuff like theme installation, css snippets etc are already available in there with better explanation and awesomeness. Watch some of our Video Tutorials to learn more about the different aspect of the theme. You can also search the forums for queries that has been answered before that might be related to your problem.

    If you find that you still have questions after taking the time on our documentations, don’t hesitate to let us know and we will be happy to assist you. If you have any requests or you feel like giving us a warm hug? You can definitely post it on our Feature Requests page. :)

    Hey Ismael,
    I think I got it all sorted out.
    Removed Woocommerce plugin, reinstalled Enfold 2.9.2 and then then reinstalled Woocommerce all via FTP.
    Seems to be working fine now.

    Yes, I used the code you posted from the other topic and it worked great, thanks!

    At this point, I have Enfold doing everything I need quite well.

    The only option I am missing / desiring is to have videos, slide shows and audio playable from the masonry view layout.

    It is not critical now but will be more important down the road.

    I wonder if Kriesi can consider implementing this into his theme?

    Otherwise, there is always the possibility of using a plugin to get these functions as does:

    I am just wondering how well it would integrate with Enfold and how fast it would call posts into the masonry view?

    I think I already answered that one on another topic of yours. You can hide the masonry title and content for mobile devices: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/what-code-can-resolve-this-masonry-issue-on-mobiles/

    Regarding the masonry sort function, you can vote or post the feature on our Feature Requests page. I doubt any kind of premium themes available in the market have that kind of sort function but I may have not seen one yet.

    Edit the page then insert the Color Section element. Edit the section and apply the background image. Set the options as you like and don’t forget the Section Minimum Height setting. You can add the content inside the Color Section.     I just did a quick install of Enfold 2.9.2, WordPress 4.0 and LayerSlider 5.2.0 and the preview worked without issue.


    @icvdm     – You have an error somehow in your LayerSlider code. I can’t say how it got there or even where it is but if you check dev tools you can see the error message. Try doing a quick theme re-install over FTP and then creating a new slideshow. This is not present in any other theme version I have ever come across so somewhere along the line there was an incorrect bit of code introduced into your instance of the plugin and/or slideshow and LayerSlider isn’t able to overcome it.

    There is no indication that 5.3.0 has any fix for 4.0 but Kriesi typically keeps the plugin up to date along side the theme updates.

    I recently updated my Enfold theme to the latest version, and I am running into some problems with the Advanced Layer Slider and the navigation overlapping my logo. http://www.szarkafinancial.com/

    My layer slider options are set to the following:

    Slider width: 100%
    Slider height: 350 px
    Responsive mode: Enabled
    Max-width: blank
    Full-width: Enabled
    Responsive under: 0
    Layers container: 0
    Hide on mobile: Not Enabled
    Hide under: 0
    Hide over : 10000

    My custom CSS for the header and logo includes:
    #header_main {
    max-height: 160px;
    min-height: 50px;}

    strong.logo {height: 150px;}

    Can you please provide me with CSS coding to fix the overlap issue?

    Hey!

    You create a new widget area you can go to Appearance>Widgets of WordPress and then use the “Enfold Custom Widget Area” box to create a new widget area. Then add widgets to it.

    Now on the page you want that widget area to appear you choose it from the Sidebar drop down in the Layout meta box.

    For the portfolio items you need to use some kind of parent page to show all your portfolio items going by what you described originally. You can of course always link directly to any single portfolio item.

    The dummy data doesn’t include every image used on the theme demo as Kriesi doesn’t have redistribution rights for all of them. That being said, if you wanted to load in the same exact data you could do so by first turning on the debug field for pages: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/enable-advanced-layout-builder-debug/

    Topic: Oddity when editing home page – does not happen in other themes

    So, I edit the home page and it’s permalink is “wildlife_nature_photography_workshops”, after updating the post, the page refreshes and now the permalink is “species_spotlight” – which is from another area of the site – not sure why it picks this up – if we don’t spot it has happened odd things start to happen on the site

    It doesn’t happen with the standard themes – it is only these and Enfold that are installed

    Hey attorney2014!

    First make sure you are using Enfold version 2.9.2.

    Then go to your Theme Options and the Header tab. Within that set of header options is a tab for the Transparency Options. This is where you set the alternate logo and menu color. Click on the “Show example Screenshot” link in the description to see a screenshot of what you are looking for in the next step.

    Now on any single page you create you can go to the Layout meta box on the right hand side of the page and shoot the Transparent Header option.

    The transparent homepage should be included with the important dummy data if you are using 2.9.2 but you don’t need to import it in to get the same page. Its primarily made using the fullscreen slideshow element of the drag and drop editor and then the other regular items from the drag drop editor (icon boxes, color sections etc).

    It’s uploading now to the file “_” it has a folder in it called Kresi, and then enfold. I had to select all the files and drop them into the enfold folder, for some reason it wouldn’t show up when I dropped in the Enfold folder from the download…
