Hi there,
We used this code that we found on the forum to modify the archive.php layout:
add_filter(‘avf_blog_style’,’avia_change_archive_blog_layout’, 10, 2);
function avia_change_archive_blog_layout($layout, $context){
if($context == ‘archive’) $layout = ‘blog-grid’;
return $layout;
}Worked really well but it’s given us a 3 column layout in 768 and above view and we wanted 2 columns, a 2 column layout in 480 and we wanted 1 column in 480 and below. Please advise.

Topic: short code in header extra
Im trying to add a short code or php code under Enfold-Header layout-Extra Element to insert a text banner so If I scroll down it gets fixed to the header and doesn’t move with the scroll
I also purchased abundance theme and I like the way it operates where the menus are not hidden and I can resize any of the pages
Can I do that on enfold?

Thank you for your reply, and for including the video. I’d actually already figured out how to enable the Mega Menus.
I was under the impression that I would be able to access an additional settings panel under the Dashboard’s “Appearance” tab–that a full-featured menu customization plugin was baked into Enfold. Something along the lines of Mega Main Menu or UberMenu. Was incorrect in that assumption?
I’m trying to figure out if there are further menu settings built into Enfold (that are just hiding somewhere) or if I need to purchase a plugin for any customization beyond what’s shown in the video you provided.

Hi,
Just want to ask what other eCommerce or Shopping cart can we use with Enfold theme that accepts eWay Payments? We are using Gravity Forms at the moment but it doesn’t have the feature to do a Fixed Recurring Payment. We tried to use WooCommerce but for some reason the images on our page doesn’t load when plugin is enabled.

I’ve got the same problems with the Yoast plugin after updated the theme to 2.9.2. Permalinks are changed out of nowhere and Google hasn’t updated pages changed since the update to 2.9.2. Since updating Enfold to 2.9.2 my site has fallen from page 1 to page 4 in the search results. Had to revert Yoast to 1.5.5 to temporarily (hopefully) solve the issues.

I updated to wordpress 4.0 while running enfold 2.8.1. Everything was fine except the admin side page editors would not open. The throbber was just spinning forever with nothing running. So I attempted to update to enfold 2.9.2. This was even worse as it resulted in completely blank pages at every url (admin side and front end). I then used the files from the 2.8.1 and ftp’d them over to the site and it came back working in the same state it was originally. Then I found the automatic update option in the theme options section. I tried that… and I just get this message “Briefly unavailable for scheduled maintenance. Check back in a minute.” Since it has been 20 minutes I don’t think this work. I’m tried to use FTP again to try to recover to the old theme but it didn’t work. Any ideas on why 2.9.2 and WP 4.0 don’t work together for me? My site is down.Regards,

I just want to echo that a fix for Enfold’s current incompatibility with Yoast SEO should be a highest priority issue.
The current version of Yoast changes permalinks in Enfold. It’s a serious problem. Reverting to the safe version of Yoast (v 1.5.5 for me) is a fragile, temporary solution that shouldn’t be satisfactory to anyone.I strongly agree that this is an urgent issue requiring whatever collaboration is necessary between Kriesi and Yoast.
This is a crippling problem, and rolling back the version of Yoast SEO is a fragile, temporary solution.
We need to know this is being dealt with. Incompatibility with Yoast SEO is not an option for Enfold, and Enfold is much too popular and established for incompatibility with it to be an option for Yoast.In reply to: WooCommerce 2.2
Hi, I experience huge problems with a mailform filed.
It seems like some of Enfolds CSS is interfering with the E-mail field in the form.
(When I change the .optbox input[type=text], the Email field dosent react)

I am still having issues with trying to import the homepage and duplicate its content. Right now I am trying to duplicate the slider at the bottom of the page above the footer that links to other sites such as wordpress, microlancer, envato, etc. This can be viewed here:

How can I duplicate that exactly? I am trying to get the logos spaced exactly the way it appears in the demo and have that portion the exact same size. I will replace the logos but want it to appear exactly as shown in the demo.

LayerSlider doesn’t have the option but you can achieve that with the Enfold fullwidth and fullscreen sliders.

I am using a text block on my home page and making the top line bold. For some reason, it makes the type red only if bold is chosen. Even if I choose black in the editor, it still stays red?
Under Enfold / General Styling, I am using Splash Red.
Is it possible that this is over riding things?
How do I get “Latest Works” to be bold black?

Meanwhile we have found out in the web that WP 4 and Enfold are not working correctly. Therefore we made a restore from database and from webspace too. Now system is working correctly with Enfold 2.8.1 and WP 3.8.
Seems that page builder is the problem. How can we avoid those problems in future when updating to WP 4.0 and Enfold 2.9.2?
