Hi!
We noticed an indication error while using an Enfold-Site with Chrome.
If you are on any site, esp. http://kriesi.at/themes/enfold, scroll down till the end of the site and then go up, the header isn’t displayed correctly.
The problem solely approach while using Chrome.
Kind regards
Katharina Wuttke
When viewing our web page less than 768px wide in mobile view:
1.) I need a header that is 200px tall.
2.) I need the logo to be 160px tall without it being chopped off.
Your header with Enfold is a nightmare. It is very, very hard to get correct. Everything else is pretty good, but your header design is not friendly for customization. I understand all the pitfalls with headers and trying to make it work for all sorts of sites so that the menus work and everything else, so no explanation is needed.
I do not have a link for you to look at. Everything is being developed on local host and it can not be uploaded at this point for such a simple task. I am highly web literate, know CSS inside-out, and don’t need to be hand-walked on this. However, I cannot isolate
what CSS is preventing my logo from being seen in mobile view because your code is chopping it off somewhere around 80pixels tall. Is it a line-height setting? Padding? Margin? Pixels measurement? !important? A combination of all of these? Point me in the correct direction please. I have seen threads where manipulation of Javascript is required, but I doubt that’s what I need because I have a basic, old-school header that that doesn’t fix to the top of the browser as you scroll down the page. It doesn’t resize. It doesn’t do anything. It is an old school header 350px tall in a normal browser and 200px tall in mobile view. But your code is shrinking it tiny in mobile view which looks terrible.
Again, I don’t have a preview page I can show you because everything is being developed on local host. So please don’t ask.
You always ask for a link when I give a perfect description what I need. We work on local host developing sites. The last help thread I asked about involved an Iframe. I figured it out on my own and decided to code things from scratch without using Enfold.
This is a very, very simple thing to do with CSS if you are a coder, but it is taking us hours
to sift through your CSS to find out what is manipulating the header inside your code.
Thx!
Dear support,
I’m aware that my question is not part of standard support but more general question.
I’m using WordPress SEO by Yoast plugin on my sites, and I used it on Enfold to create XML sitemap and the result points to the 404 page.
When I did the search on the Yoast support about this topic, I found this: http://kb.yoast.com/article/77-my-sitemap-index-is-giving-a-404-error-what-should-i-do so, Yoast explains that “First of all, let us be clear that this is not due to our plugin, but due to poorly coded themes and/or other plugins.”
Ok, I suppose that your awesome theme is well-coded but is there any advice that you can give me what could cause this and how can I improve it within your theme? Thank you, guys!
Alfiya
I’ve took over our website from predecessor, but he doesn’t gives me any documents or knowledge, so Please help me.
This is our website is in private content below, Just in constructing progress from WP and Enfold default.
When I open an editor on frontpage, there’s Avia Layout Builder appears, but it doesn’t load anything.
Also, frontpage has 2 pages of slideshow, included some screenshots of Enfold screen, these are nothing existing in portfolio items too.
How do I check them (for learn)?
My environments are;
WP 4.0 / Enfold 2.9.2 / Mac OS / Safari, Chrome
Thank you!
Not sure what to say but i tried with Chrome, Firefox and IE updated. Still not working.
Lightbox works with this link: http://kriesi.at/themedemo/?theme=enfold but not this link: http://www.kimcheang.com/rett/kyllingfilet-i-thai-rod-karri/ My browsers seem to work with lightbox.
Where can i look to find the error?
Odd thing happened today. I wrote a little css rule in the “quick css” Enfold content type and then changed my mind and deleted it. Now showing up in the footer socket.
Thanks Devin.
Yes, in this case, it did activate and there was a number indicating an update in the WordPress admin soon after, however when one clicks on updates for plug-ins, it shows none listed there. I presumed that this was the plug-in is in the Enfold folder and not the normal plugins folder in wp-content. Yes, a LayerSlider team issue. Just wanted to pass on notes here and document what worked or didn’t for anyone else who was trying the same. (One always hopes one’s blunders saves times for others who need not repeat them ;) !)
None of my attempts to get it to work on my live server were succesful, as noted above. It did work on my local environment on Mamp Pro. Wonder if the issues caused by this are the result of outdated or just older php versions? My local uses 5.5.14. My previous host Media Temple which I was using on a Grid shared server used 5.3.27. I am migrating these sites to a new optimized site using php 5.5 as well, and will see if these LayerSlider issues will disappear.
Wonder if anyone has seen a minimum php version it requires?
Appreciate the response. Great to be able to pre-update the new LS releases – for those of us that have bought it – in advance of new integrated theme updates. Any one who has updated smoothly, would love to hear.
All best…
Hi generatrorassociates!
Thank you for using Enfold.
Please edit the gallery then look for the Gallery Big Preview Image Size. This option will change the big preview image of the gallery. Set the gallery thumbnails size on Gallery Preview Image Size. Right now you’re using the Thumbnail size (80x80px) on the Gallery Big Preview Image Size setting.
Regards,
Ismael

Hi diefleischerei!
Thank you for using Enfold.
Edit the post then set the post format to link. Add the url of the video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G0k3kHtyoqc) on the text editor. Add a featured image. When click on masonry overview page, the video will open on a lightbox. I’m not sure if that is what you want to do so I’ll ask Dude to take a look.
Cheers!

Hi charlie1!
Thank you for using Enfold.
You can use this on functions.php:
function add_custom_script(){
?>
<div class="header-meta-img"><img src="IMAGE URI HERE" /></div>
<?php
}
add_action('wp_head', 'add_custom_script', 10);
Use the .header-meta-img selector to adjust the position of the container.
Cheers!

Hey CoolPenguinSays!
Thank you for using Enfold.
Do you mind if we take a look at the actual website? Make sure that you’re running the latest version of WooCommerce with Enfold 2.9.2 and WordPress 4.0.
Cheers!
Ismael
Hi MarcG5!
Thank you for using Enfold.
Please update WordPress to 4.0. This may fix the issue. If the update doesn’t fix it, add this on functions.php:
add_action('init','remove_yoast_analysis');
function remove_yoast_analysis(){
remove_filter('wpseo_pre_analysis_post_content','avia_wpseo_pre_analysis_post_content_fix', 10, 1);
}
Best regards,
Ismael

Hi!
Sorry for the delay.
I’m not sure why it’s not working as it should. Can you please switch the advance layout builder to debug mode? Refer to this link: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/enable-advanced-layout-builder-debug/
Copy the shortcode below then place it on pastebin.com. We would like to test it on our installation.
Cheers!
Ismael
Hey Knut!
Thank you for using Enfold.
Are you trying to hide the title container on a page? Edit the page then look for Layout > Title Bar Settings. Select “Hide Both”.
If possible, avoid modifying the core theme files. Please use a child theme to preserver the modifications. Refer to this link for more info: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/using-a-child-theme/

Ismael
