I have been editing a website all day yesterday, and all was fine. First thing today, I updated Enfold to 7.1.4, and I am having elements disappear when editing a page after “updating” the changes. I only excerpted this on one page, and I stopped editing. I don’t have the time to test all on the staging sites for the different websites built with Enfold right now. Below is the page, as you can see, very simple.
When doing simple text editing in the text box, the portfolio container disappeared below it when saving the page. I tried the same thing on a duplicate page with a new text box, and it happened again. I can no longer edit this site safely and cannot rollback the Enfold version.
No new plugins or code implemented that might cause a conflict.
I have many websites that we manage built with Enfold. Can you please advise on this issue? It needs to be resolved.

On one of our client websites they have a lot of Video Widgets and for some reason now they are not loading and are just black boxes.
This website has a TON of videos so I am not sure what is going on. The theme and PHP are the most current. I will provide login ect in the private area below for you to poke around if you need to.

This is quite a serious oversight your end!
We had the same problem using icon elements. Increasing the limit in the line 1261
@ini_set( 'memory_limit', apply_filters( 'avf_alb_linkpicker_memory_limit', '512M' ) );in the file enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-template-builder/php/base-classes/class-modal-elements.php solved the problem, although the loading time is still rather long.
Maybe changing this limit could be made available via a setting in the Enfold options.

I have to fix Strict Transport Security and Content Security Policy (Missing Headers).
We’re going to fix it.Last Friday, the site was hacked. Instead of the homepage, we had a redirect to a Clearfix page. Admin users logged in, and fake plugins appeared. We removed everything. The next day, all the site’s images were gone.
We downloaded the backup (site and database), deleted everything, and started over.
We added more security plugins.
We still don’t know what happened; it’s definitely not just Enfold, but it could also be Woocommerce, and especially Revolution Slider, which was removed in the new version.
Nothing like this has ever happened before!

Where did you set the option to convert the images to AVIF?
The srcset should be automatically added to the images as long as Enfold > Performance > Responsive Images is enabled, which enables the default WordPress srcset feature. It’s possible that one of the plugins installed on the site is interfering with the default WordPress functionality.

The real problem is that Cross Site Scripting (XSS) has been classified by antivirus systems (Norton, Avira, etc.) for PCs, and many of our clients and users can no longer reach their website because they are blocked first.A patch for this vulnerability is URGENTLY NEEDED; the theme is practically unusable for PC users; Mac users are better off accessing it.

I tested and activated the Enfold maintenance mode once, and since then I’ve been seeing the following message in the backend on my homepage:
“This page is selected to be displayed as maintenance mode page but is not active at the moment. (Set in Enfold » Theme Options). (Change)”The link leads to the Enfold Theme Options page, where the maintenance mode is actually disabled.
Additionally, in the page overview in the backend, the following note appears next to the Start-Page:
“Start — Inactive Maintenance Mode Page (Change), Advanced Layout Builder”So the message is definitely coming from Enfold, even though the maintenance mode is disabled.
Could you please look into it one more time?

Hi,
I’m experiencing an issue where some images on my client’s website are not being replaced with their optimized versions generated by the Smush Pro plugin. Other images appear to be optimizing correctly, but a subset of them continue to serve the original, unoptimized files.
I believe this may be related to how Enfold handles images. I tried to deactivate all plugins except Woocommerce and Smush Pro to see if any other plugins might be the cause of this issue, but it doesn’t seem like it. There are missing srcsets as well, which leads me to believe the theme isn’t using the regular wp_get_attachment_image() function (loading images the WordPress way), which then doesn’t let WordPress apply image optimizations and other hooks that come from that function.
Could you advise on whether Enfold has any known conflicts with Smush Pro, or if there’s a recommended way to ensure all theme-rendered images are picked up by the plugin?
In the example link, you can look at image HTML. The first section’s image has been manually replaced with AVIF while the second and third section’s image still load PNGs. None of the images have responsive srcsets.

Looks like you didn’t use a Color Section element on the page, which allowed the theme to automatically create one without container constraints. Make sure to move the columns or content inside a Color Section container so they don’t go full width. You can then set the Maximum Container Width value in Enfold > General Layout > Dimensions as shown in the screenshot below.
