I’m sorry but we won’t be able to help you trace back all the modifications made on the theme but note that all theme options and custom css codes located on Quick CSS will be retained when updating the theme. Since you’re using a very old version of the theme, some of the options and elements might break so you have to adjust those or create them from scratch. Theme update should be done regularly to keep up with WordPress and other code changes. Please refer to this link on how to move the website to a child theme: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/using-a-child-theme/

SuryaHi, I removed the author from the Enfold settings menu, but I still can see the author on the archives page, category page and tag page. How can I remove the author on that pages? Thanks

Enfold Child theme
WooCommerceIf I enter a featured image in a blog post using the Enfold theme, it seems it uses a ‘thumbnail’ with the dimension: 1210×423 pixels. And as far as I can see it’s set through ‘entry_without_sidebar’.
Actually I’d love to use featured images for showing my panorama’s which have an aspect ration of 3:1. So it would be nice to have featured images of 1210×403 pixels (may be 1200×400 pixels?). Or, since the width of my container is 1130 pixels: 1130×377 pixels. And I don’t like to use thumbnails which are resized by software, but original images in their original sizes.
Issue 1
Can I use the Simple Images Sizes plugin (https://wordpress.org/plugins/simple-image-sizes) to change the featured image size? Or is it better to change it in functions.php (like suggested here: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/featured-image-size-and-shape/#post-336197). And how can I avoid the image used as featured image is a resized image?Then: since retina and 4K displays become more and more commonplace, I’d love to use a featured images which is @2x but displayed as @1x. For example: upload a featured image of 2400×800 pixels, which is displayed in an area with the dimension of 1200×400 pixels.
Issue 2
How can this be achieved for featured images?Hi guys, running latest enfold, latest wordpress. Had no problems and then layout builder just started spinning. Tried disabling all plugins. Tried loading up a previous revision. Tried different browsers. All no good. Unable to view homepage but other pages fine. When I created an admin account for you and logged in to check it, I was able to see and use the layout builder! However, I am still unable to see the homepage. I will send you both log in credentials if you can take a look please.

Hi there,
I did upgrade to WP 4.0, installed Enfold and activated it. But the Thumbnails-Definition capability is not visible when I create a post or edit a post. On the Post-blog the Thumbnails are empty, and at the Post Overview-List is the image activated.
As described on the WP Side – tried I to activate the Post Thumbnails.
I added the following command to the functions.php files: add_theme_support( ‘post-thumbnails’ );
~/wordpress/wp-content/themes/enfold/functions-enfold.php
~/wordpress/wp-content/themes/enfold/functions.phpBut it does not work.
In which fie do I have to put it, and is there a specific location in the file where I have to put it?

I want to set up my blog page to look like your “Blog Single Author Small” demo page. Your thumbnail pictures are set to the left side with the excerpt and read more section to the right. And you have a side bar with a line separating your blog entries.
When I set up my page the way the demo page is set up, my thumbnails show above the excerpt and read more section.

thanks – I see your proposed change in the latest enfold version, however, it does not fix the problem.
Steps to reproduce:
1) have woocommerce 2.2.6, enfold 2.9.2 or 3.0.1
3) WP_DEBUG true (otherwise you see nothing)
3) try to edit a page with a product slider on it. (or create one, save it, and then load it – everything is gone except for title, slug, and Publish box).In the ‘Publish’ box there will be these warnings and errors (if WP_DEBUG is true):

I have change the logo on enfold theme options and remove the image file from my folder however the logo icon still stays there.This is the file that I’ve deleted but still there’s an error icon on the live page.
How do I completely remove the icon?

So I followed directions from another support ticket and added to wp-config.php:

I’m lost, i can’t for the life of me get this to work properly.. :-(
What I’m trying to do is to add a image to a color section module (to be used top of the page) i’v set a custom height of 450px. I’m using a image which is 1310x875px (I’m using a boxed layout) and I’m trying to get the image positioned as i want it. But i can’t get to display correctly.
For me bottom center means it centers the image and align from the bottom of the image, no such luck. Please see attached images and website link.

I’d like to edit the css for my theme. Is there any way to get the main css file for my theme and edit it on my own? I couldn’t find it in the ftp, just saw “style.css” and lots of other stylesheets in the css folder, but they doesn’t seem to refer to my actual theme. For example I put a logo using Enfold menu in WP, but I don’t see it in any css file.

Hi,
Just bought the Enfold theme and tried the ‘full-width’ image slider but is not working (ios, chrome 38)
What I did:
Add 2 images and put the slider (set the slider timing to 4 sec) into a row with the layout builder.Since I updated to WP 4.0 an Enfold 3.0.1 I have a major issue when I upload images.
The original file seems to upload successfully, but it is not crunched. Otherwise, it is duplicating the file several times (more than 500) in my media library. None of these files show the image. It displays only a grey cover as if the image was never uploaded.
I have installed a plugin Image Pro. With that plugin I’m able to upload images. Unfortunately, the image is only available in my English media library. When I switch to the French version, the images are not available in my media library. So I can’t use them in the Enfold easy slider for instance.

Hi
I have a broken menu after manually updating EnfoldEnfold was not working with widgets. I tested with twenty fourteen and the widgets worked with that theme.
Although it was showing the latest version in the updater, I updated Enfold manually, as suggested here. The widgets now work, but my main menu has lost its style and is broken.

Media upload and media gallery is still not working.
Problem is with WPML media plugin / enfold collaboration. If WPML media plugin is disabled, media gallery works ok. But without WPML Media woocommerce WPML is not working.
