In Enfold, what text gets published to the “Site Title” that appears when you “inspect element” in a browser?Hi there,

Hi Josue or somebody else. Could you please replay on my last question:
Instead of updating the file class-breadcrumb.php, can’t I just add a small piece of code to my functions.php file in my enfold child theme? I prefer to use the child theme instead of changing theme files.And just out of curiosity, if I set the home page to page “Home”, why is the breadcrumb not picking up that page? Is this a bug or is there a logical explanation for it?

First, I am loving Enfold, thank you for an awesome theme!
I am pretty new to WP and this whole website thing so this might be something I’m doing wrong but I seem to be having continuous problems with Enfold and my settings.I have spent two full days searching online, your forums, etc. for answers and I have clicked on literally everything within WP and played with all of the settings and I’m stuck.
I can’t seem to get my sidebars to appear correctly and I can’t get the navigation pages on the bottom to disappear.

Is there a way for the styling to also show in the blog excerpts? Eg. I have a h2 heading that is in the blog post, but when shown in the excerpt it is simply inline paragraph text, with no return, etc…. see this screenshot: http://screencast.com/t/wKL6aerQTBK3

I upgraded to WordPress 4.0 and Enfold 3.0.2. However now when I start a new blog and switch between the Visual and Text elements to box with the information disappears. See example with box missing http://screencast.com/t/IQKkKuK4T
any ideas or help to fix appreciated.

Hi, I’m using a customized version of the Enfold theme.
I’m having a problem where the related posts are displaying outside of the main container. It only affects single posts. Is there any explanation for this, or can anyone help me figure out why this is happening?

Thank you guys for posting this thread and the solution. I found that this was my issue as well. And I think it’s actually related to Chrome and how it works with the Layerslider and Cloudflare. Here’s why:
I upgraded to WP4 and enfold 3.0.2 using latest version of Chrome Version 38.0.2125.104 m on windows 7 pro 64. With this configuration, the Layersliders would work on EVERY browser with the exception of Chrome. Even Chrome mobile worked fine, but the Chrome browser on all the PCs that I tried would not even attempt to load the layerslider.
I then disabled the Rocket Loader within CloudFlare (Last option under “Performance Settings” tab). I cleared the CloudFlare cache and the WP cache (I use W3TC). And now everything works on Chrome just fine.
The reason I don’t think it’s necessarily CloudFlare’s doing, is because it seems to work with other browsers just fine, which is very unusual. It might actually have to do with the update to W3TC. They now have something called Edge Mode which is in Beta. I haven’t tried that yet but it might resolve this issue. I am not going to be the one to try it though as I have wasted enough time resolving this issue already ;)
Simple as is, I go on with building page layout, add elements and edit fields using visual composer, but when I switch to default editor the code is gone – all I get is an empty window. Switching back to visual builder brings elements back which means code is there, but it is becomes invisible inf default editor mode. I have other themes with visual composer (Legend, Avada etc) and there I can switch from default to visual mode without loosing code string.
How to prevent this from happening in Enfold? Can you help me with this, please? It’s really really important, because building and editing elements in visual mode and copy/pasting the code to product page saves time and makes the hard work alot easier

Hi,
is there a way to style the standard search box in Enfold? Here’s what I would like to do:
1) Increase the height of the search box
2) Make the placeholder text more visible (i.e. darker color, bigger font size)
3) Let the placeholder text disappear on focus (i.e. when I place the mouse cursor in the search box)Also, a minor issue – the search box on our homepage (infotropic.ru) is not vertically centered within the video background section. I did add the search box via a widget module. Didn’t have that issue with a text module.

HolgerI’ve recently installed Enfold on an existing WP-based website which has been running for almost 5 years and has loads of legacy content. Generally it’s gone well, however I encountered a problem as the (fontello-based) icons are not displaying correctly on the main live site now I’ve switched themes and gone live with Enfold. I’m getting boxes instead of the correct icons, which might suggest a CORS / CDN issue of some sort.
I did the dev work on another server (on a different host too). Different workflow to my normal one: normally I do the dev work on the same server on a new directory, then put a redirect in place; or i’m creating a new site from scratch.
It was a slightly challenging dev process as a standard WP dump from the existing site was way too big for WP Import to handle. Also content is regularly added and updated on the existing live site so I had to work with a subset of all data & content.
Once I was happy with the design and layout I then exported the Enfold settings, before importing it into my Enfold Child theme on the main server. I then set up most functions and structures just fine. The only issue I spotted is with these icons.
It’s too late to use a plugin like WP MigrateDB or WP MigrateDB PRO as the main client site is now live and can’t be reverted. What I need to do is map the correct links to point to the Fontello font set on the main server (whether that’s via the DB or something else I’m not sure)
I guess there are cross domain issues. I have gone through old threads on the support forum, and tried a bunch of tips but nothing has sorted it (these have included some Quick CSS, .htaccess changes and more).
I’m no coder, and don’t like digging around too much with files. modifying code and I don’t want to break something which is mostly working. However I do need to get this sorted pretty soon.
I am hoping it’s a quick fix. Happy to provide logins for mods if this helps find a solution; please private reply. Thanks very much in advance :D
Hey all, are there any automatic youtube posting plugins compatible with Enfold like http://www.constantinb.com/project/wordpress-youtube-plugin ?
The plugin actually imports the thumbnail so you can then use it with a slider to make a latest posts slider for example. The plugin needs to be compatible with Enfold or it won’t display right (at least that one doesn’t).

My question was not whether I can or cannot use ALB for posts, I already used it before the Enfold update and I need my posts to preserve the same quality as before.
My question was more precisely why the posts were not being updated anymore after the Enfold upgrade (and I was simply wondering if the ALB functionality prevented them from updating correctly – this is merely a presumption on my side, that would need to be confirmed)…
Could you please kindly look into this, as it is very important for me to be able to modify post content?

I’m using the great theme enfold!
While uploading images there are several size-variations automatically generated i.e. myPicture-450×303.jpg, myPicture-1500×430.jpg etc.My original picture ist 1800×1200 with 89KB.
The generated file 1210×423 is 90KB, the file 1500×1010 with 170KB is at least two times bigger than my original file ( with a smaller resolution ).I think this would give an bad performance when the smaller resolution images ( which have a bigger size ) are loaded on mobile devices..
So where do i have to do some settings to fix this or is an special plugin necessary?
