Hi,
Thank you for the update.
You can set the Enfold > Blog Layout > Blog Layout to Grid Layout to achieve the same post format and style on your category pages. The same modification will be applied to the category pages once the Grid Layout is activated.
Best regards,
Ismael
Hi,
Thank you for the clarification.
The site seems to be fine based on our recent check. Please check the screenshot provided in the private field. Did you figure out the issue? If the problem persists on your end, try to disable the Enfold > Performance > File Compression settings, purge the cache, and then check the site in incognito mode or do a hard refresh.
Best regards,
Ismael
Hi,
Thank you for the update.
We are seeing a lot of errors in the console, generated from the avia-footer-script file. Please temporarily disable the Enfold > Performance > File Compression settings, then post the login details in the private field so that we can check the modifications further.

Hey togetherconcept,
Thank you for the inquiry.
What do you mean by “post widget”? Are you using the Blog Posts element from the Advance Layout Builder? Try to edit the enfold/includes/loop-index.php file and look for this code around line 635:
echo "<{$heading} class='post-title entry-title {$css}'>" . __( 'Nothing Found', 'avia_framework' ) . "</{$heading}>";

Ismael
Hi,
Thank you for the update.
1.) We cannot reproduce the same issue on our end, so it is likely related to a plugin or a custom script on your server. Have you tried to temporarily disable the plugins? Did you install another compression plugin recently? Please try deactivating the Enfold > Performance > File Compression settings and see if the issue persists.
2.) It’s possible that the plugin conflicts with the Select Your Editor settings. Have you tried disabling the plugin temporarily?
Best regards,
Ismael
Hi Rikard,
There is a header file in my child theme, but not a footer file.
So I would do the update… then if there is a footer problem, take the code from the backed up enfold child footer.php and put it in the new updated footer.php? And how do I know which code to copy and paste over or delete, or leave in there?
Thanks again!
Hi,
is there a workaround to import an existing layerslider project on a new enfold project?
Thank you for help!
Hey Moondreamer21,
If you have backups of your site then that should be enough, but you might want to consider copying the site to a staging area and update there first as safety precaution.
If the footer is disappearing after the update then please check if you are overriding header.php, footer.php or both in your child. If that is the case then please replace those files with the parent theme files, then add your customisation back in.

Hi,
Thanks for letting us know. Please open a new thread if you should have any further questions or problems.

I couldn’t get this to work. I am trying to achieve something similar to Content slider style – 2 on this https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/content-slider/#toggle-id-3 (basically the same outcome minus the background color).
I’m not sure if the same style can be applied to the post slider, but that would be ideal as I don’t want the arrows appearing over my post preview images. Or to have a background color unless hovered over.
Hello,
My web site has been neglected for a while. I’m using the Enfold them with an Enfold child theme. It’s heavily customized.
I’m scared to update it and am kind of rusty on web development. It’s currently version 4.8.2 installed.
I can update it within WordPress…
I have done an entire site back up in my hosting account.
I have backed up the Enfold theme and child theme to my hard drive via FTP.
Can anyone please provide simple steps to take so this is a success and my site doesn’t break?
Is there anything else I should do to prepare? Anything I should look for afterward to make sure it’s all working OK?
A few months ago I attempted to update and the footer on every page disappeared. I didn’t have time to troubleshoot so I had to restore the site and deal with it later, which is now.
Will the footer disappear again? If so, what should I do to fix that?
Thanks.
Hello Ismael,
(I mean the full width slider on the homepage of http://www.einberg.net)
I am still having big issues with this; every plugin updates means a broken Enfold layout somewhere…!
I have a long talk about this with the wp-rocket support team and this what wp-rocket came up with:
“We noticed something that may be still causing problems, and it’s the filenames of the theme files.
The files such as /wp-content/uploads/dynamic_avia/avia_posts_css/post-26.css may have unexpected changes in the filename from the Enfold side, which are not synchronized with WP Rocket”.
So are they correct about this? Do you think this could be causing the issue?
Do you realy mean spacings ? those spaces between words? or do your mean line-breaks set by <br>
this is a known issue but not on enfold – it is a wordpress “feature” ;)
To avoid that Enfold got this extra button on text editor:

it is then set as : <br class="avia-permanent-lb" />
Hey carmen,
Please try the following in Quick CSS under Enfold->General Styling:
#text-69 {
display: none;
}
Best regards,
Rikard
Thank you!! I will continue to reduce the larger images to this size. Have a great day!! I have a lot of images.. lots of work.. thank you..
Is that the only way? I have 1800 images on 300-plus pages that would have to be replaced.
Any advice on the other items in the page speed results as to settings in Enfold, maybe? Or anything else?
thank you
Pam

Hello, several antiviruses such as AVAST or AVG Antivirus detect malware in the enfold theme files when I access my website: https://www.xprinta.com/
I have spoken with my hosting support but they do not detect anything with the server’s firewall. I don’t know if it’s a false positive, but I’m worried that everyone will see the virus warning when they visit the website.
This is the name of the threat: JS:Agent-EKP [Tj]
Thanks

Patric Hubli
It’s great to be part of the Enfold-community but as a paying customer I would not mind to be able to relief myself of the commercial in the footer, ‘Enfold theme by Kriesi’. Any idea how?
Hello,
We have been having an issue with our pages, we have oneair.es and grupooneair.com with enfold child theme installed and both pages are the same (one in english and the other in spanish) but we are having troubles with the performance on grupooneair.com saying that the css content on it is about a 50% while in oneair.es is just 5%.
We are attaching a google drive link with both GTmetrics reports
If you can take a look we will be glad.
Thanks
Hi Mike,
This issue is random. I have used Enfold for many websites and I notice the Text Block in content elements will occasionally just remove all spacing after saving. Once I go back and redo the text it seems to be fine. Have you heard of this issue before? I usually set my client up to edit their sites themselves, so when this happens I get a call and have to go in and help them.
Thanks for your quick reply –
Tom – Webmaintain
now you can see on that example page – that i can influence the inline svg logo to have different fill colors if the header is transparent.
in this case i do not use the transparency logo on enfold options. – i just switch the fill color for that case:
.html_header_transparency #header:not(.header-scrolled) .fillColor {
fill: #FFF;
}
by the way – on your page – i wouldn’t try to set the svg dimension via height – because this is calculated by the shrinking script.
just set a width ( absolute value)
.logo svg {
/*** margin-top: 10px; ***/
/*** padding: 10px; ***/
width: 350px;
/*** height: auto; ***/
}
so get rid of margin-top, padding and height
Hi,
Glad to hear that you have this sorted out, if you have any further questions please create a new thread and we will gladly try to help you. Thank you for using Enfold.
Best regards,
Mike
Hi,
When I test your ‘Services’ page with the following code it works correctly, try adding the css to your WordPress ▸ Customize ▸ Additional CSS
.page-id-18 #av_section_2 .flex_column .avia-button-wrap {
position: absolute;
bottom: 25px !important;
left: 0;
right: 0;
margin-left: auto;
margin-right: auto;
width: 300px;
}
.page-id-18 #av_section_2 .flex_column {
height: 475px;
min-height: 475px;
}

Best regards,
Mike
Hi, thanks for the replies. In the past with themes, the available fonts from the admin would be available for the theme to load in so every user could see the selected font – hence asking why this was not the case with Enfold. I understand what you have done and yes its default on Mac, but of course in this situation with it not being on windows devices it seems pointless to select this as the themes font if its only available to half the intended audience?
I did go ahead and download a ttf, compress this and upload to Enfold to use, and all is working as expected now.
Word to note: On a MAC if you compress a font using the finder window, this will add a MACOS file (and possibly others) nto the compressed font folder, resulting in Enfold trying to load this in first when using the Themes UPLOAD Font page. The result is you cant upload your font without issue. So I compressed my TTF font file using Terminal to eliminate the hidden mac files. Hope this helps someone else in the future.
Hi,
Try this CSS in your Enfold Theme Options ▸ General Styling ▸ Quick CSS field:
.av-burger-overlay-active #top #wrap_all #header_main .av-hamburger-inner,
.av-burger-overlay-active #top #wrap_all #header_main .av-hamburger-inner::after {
background-color: rgb(74, 30, 9);
}
After applying the css, please clear your browser cache and check.
Best regards,
Mike
Hi,
Thank you for the link to your site, please note that you are using 1/4 columns for the “Dry Rubs”

So what is your mobile expectation for these columns, full width?
Best regards,
Mike
Hey Pasteta,
Please try the following in Quick CSS under Enfold->General Styling:
@media only screen and (max-width: 767px) {
#top .avia-slider-testimonials.av-slideshow-ui .avia-slideshow-arrows a {
opacity: 1;
}
}
Best regards,
Rikard
Hi,
Thank you for the update.
Please remove the previous css code, then replace it with the following code:
#top .av-caption-style-overlay .av-masonry-item-with-image:hover .av-inner-masonry-content {
background: rgba(255,255,255,0.35);
}
Do not forget to toggle or temporarily disable the Enfold > Performance > File Compression settings. Let us know if this works.
Best regards,
Ismael
Hey namasteevents,
Thank you for the inquiry.
Looks like the video is not loading properly because the site contains an older version of the theme (5.1.2). Please try to upgrade the theme to version 5.6.10, then temporarily disable the Enfold > Performance > File Compression settings afterward.
Best regards,
Ismael
