Hi,
Thank you for the inquiry.
Did you override the header.php file or the footer.php file in your child theme? Please make sure to get the latest copy of the template files and redo the modifications. Also, try toggling or temporarily disabling the Enfold > Performance > File Compression settings after updating the template files.
Best regards,
Ismael
Hello,
Since installing Enfold 6.0.1, I’ve had a “Welcome to Enfold 6.0.1 – A small update fixing minor bugs and a performance issue for large sites” banner notification, with info about the update, at the top of every page in my WordPress admin interface. I can’t get rid of it. If I click “Dismiss,” it goes away temporarily, but pops up again the next time I open that page. I just installed Enfold 6.0.2, and these notifications for 6.0.1 persist everywhere.
Please advise. How to I get rid of them? Thanks! Lance
If it helps figure out why no footer is displaying, I did see this in the debug log.
[17-Jul-2024 22:59:43 UTC] PHP Notice: Undefined index: footer_option in /home/xxxxxxx/public_html/staging/wp-content/themes/enfold/footer.php on line 35

I recently updated (in staging) from Enfold v4 to v6. I am using a child theme. There are some minor annoying styling changes (workable), and also my footer is now gone.
I am wondering if just updating to the newest v5 would be better.
I don’t need new features, I just need a version that will run on php 8 or 8.1
Is it possible to download old versions?
Or get some help getting the new version to look/work similar to the old one?
Hey rmatus,
Please try the following in Quick CSS under Enfold->General Styling:
#menu-item-257 ul.sub-menu {
left: -100px;
}

I have purchased the theme and verified Envato’s personal token.
Now how to update the theme? I do not see an update option on the existing theme.
Do I need to uninstall the existing version of the Enfold theme and reinstall the new theme I installed? If so, will I get all the content and settings back in the new theme?
Please be specific when you answer the question. In the last message, I asked clearly “how to install the official Enfold theme on my existing website without losing any of my design or settings.”. And you just sent me the link to register the theme license!
Hey Rathan K,
You can purchase the theme here: https://themeforest.net/item/enfold-responsive-multipurpose-theme/4519990. You should be able to install the new version as you would with a new theme under Appearance in the WordPress menu.
Once the theme is installed, then please follow this in order to register your theme license: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-registration/

I am currently using the Enfold theme on my WordPress website. I initially purchased a premium version of the theme from a GPL license website a few years ago. Now, I would like to purchase the official Enfold theme directly from you to ensure I receive updates and support from the original developer.
My main concern is how to install the official Enfold theme on my existing website without losing any of my design or settings. Could you please provide instructions on the best way to achieve this?
Current theme version I am using: 4.8.1
I look forward to your response and appreciate your assistance.
Hey Jak73,
Try this CSS in your Enfold Theme Options ▸ General Styling ▸ Quick CSS field:
.container_wrap {
border-top-style: none;
}
After applying the css, please clear your browser cache and check.
Best regards,
Mike
Hey Jak73,
To remove the box, Try this CSS in your Enfold Theme Options ▸ General Styling ▸ Quick CSS field:
.av_toggle_section .toggle_icon {
border: none;
}
but to change the symbol, please tell us what you want to use.
Best regards,
Mike
Hey Anna_Tewes,
Try this CSS in your Enfold Theme Options ▸ General Styling ▸ Quick CSS field:
:root :where(a:where(:not(.wp-element-button))) {
text-decoration: none;
}
After applying the css, please clear your browser cache and check.
Best regards,

Hello,
I use Enfold for a while and encountered some strange issue with accordions when updating to the last 6.x versions.
The header text value is being continuously set for every single unopened accordion element. Looking at it in the browser inspector, I can see my elements’ HTML representation flickering as the header is repeatedly being changed to the exact same value. Is there some sort of callback or update function that shouldn’t have been called? I can imagine this being a symptom of deeper performance issues too.
Thanks in advance.
Olivier
Thank you, the Enfold update has fixed the problem
Hi,
Thanks for that. Please try the following in Quick CSS under Enfold->General Styling:
.main_color.iconbox_top .iconbox_icon:before {
color: blue;
font-size: 20px;
}
Best regards,
Rikard
Hi,
I don’t think there are any caching solution which won’t possibly cause problems. After any type of update, you will have to clear the cache anyway. You could also check if file compression is active in the theme under Enfold->Performance. If it is, then you can try disabling it. If you need further help with the plugin, then please reach out to the plugin authors.

Rikard
Hi,
We have released a bug fix, please update to Enfold 6.0.2: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update

Thank you Rikard,
disabling LiteSpeed Cache the menu returns active.
Do you have any idea how I can prevent this from happening again if I turn LiteSpeed back on?
And – in any case – I need a “strong” cache to speed up everything so… could you suggest me an alternative product that won’t cause problems for Enfold?
Where should I have to place this content in enfold theme

Hey Bruno,
The easiest way would be to import the shortcodes of the page in question. You can activate debug mode under Enfold->Layout Builder->Show advanced options. The a new window will appear under the regular Layout Builder window, where you can paste these shortcodes: https://pastebin.com/NTc5x1C6

Hey Diana,
That problem was introduced with WordPress 6.6, we are aware of it and we’re going to release a bug fix as soon as possible. As a temporary solution, please use the Classic Editor for now. It can be selected under Enfold->Theme Options.
Best regards,
Rikard

I have also updated to the latest version of WordPress 6.6 and the latest version of Enfold. Now I can no longer edit the content on my pages. When I use the Enfold editor, I see some kind of vague HTML code instead of the original text content. Looks like its broken.

I have a same issue for my site when i update to wordpress 6.6, the enfold advance layout builder is gone
Hallo Zusammen,
Danke.
Hi,
Thank you for the update.
Please check the privacy modal and look at tabs 3 and 4. You’ll find the same privacy toggles in both tabs. Please remove the duplicate toggles or remove the entire tab in the Enfold > Privacy & Cookies > Cookie Handling > Modal Popup Window section.
The script above removes the role attribute from the specified elements:
Header:
<header id="header" class="all_colors header_color light_bg_color av_header_top av_logo_left av_main_nav_header av_menu_right av_custom av_header_sticky av_header_shrinking av_header_stretch_disabled av_mobile_menu_phone av_header_transparency av_header_glassy av_header_searchicon_disabled av_header_unstick_top av_seperator_small_border av_bottom_nav_disabled av_alternate_logo_active" data-av_shrink_factor="50" itemscope="itemscope" itemtype="https://schema.org/WPHeader" style="margin-top: 0px;">
Menu:
<nav class="main_menu" data-selectname="Velg en side" itemscope="itemscope" itemtype="https://schema.org/SiteNavigationElement">
<div class="avia-menu av-main-nav-wrap">
<ul role="menu" class="menu av-main-nav" id="avia-menu">
</nav>
If you want to remove this manually from the template, edit the enfold/includes/helper-main-menu.php file and remove the avia_markup_helper function around line 213:
$main_nav = "<nav class='main_menu' data-selectname='" . __( 'Select a page', 'avia_framework' ) . "' " . avia_markup_helper( array( 'context' => 'nav', 'echo' => false ) ) . '>';

Hey Alessandro,
Thank you for the inquiry.
Please go to your Themeforest account, access the Enfold theme in the Downloads page, then download the License Certificate. You should find the valid purchase code info in the certificate. You can then use this code to register an account in the forum.

Hey sunseekertours,
Thank you for the inquiry.
How did you register the Seymour One font? Did you upload the font using the Custom Font Manager? You might need to select it as the heading or body font in the Enfold > General Styling > Fonts tab.
Best regards,
Ismael
