    Hey Simon,

    Could you try updating the theme to the latest version (6.0.3) to see if that helps please? https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-update/.

    Inspector on p in the footer:
    Inspector > Styles css-rules that are shown line-height:1.1em !important line-height:1.65em line-height:1êm
    all are not giving the p a line-height of 1.1em and I can not see which class or rule effects or forces line-height to approx 1.65em
    Inspector > Computed
    says line-height for p is 33px
    Thats why I thought its calculated.
    I made in advanced styling
    <body> line-height 1.1em
    I made in Customizer
    /* Fonts */
    body {line-height:1.1em !important}
    but nothing forces p to have a line-height of 1.1em

    Ok, got it, had to make another Advanced Styling, extra for p with line-height 1.1em
    But still have no idea where enfold takes 1.65em for p
    But Advanced Styling helped me out
    This worked out.
    Thanks a lot.

    Hi Rikard,

    If i choose another theme this will not show the portfolio function as this is an enfold option. I assume you cannot help me resolve this issue.

    I have therefore decided to build new pages to replace the portfolio function pages. The problem I now face is that the advanced layout builder is no longer available when I try to create a new page? I have tried some of the fixes mentioned on previous forum discussions but nothing seems to work – deactivate all in one migration plugin and clear cache.

    Thanks in adavnce
    Sam

    In reply to: Accordeon

    Hey xela,

    That is not possible by default unfortunately. You could try to activate debug mode under Enfold->Layout Builder->Show advanced options though, and try to copy the shortcodes in question into the Accordion. Please note that this might lead to unexpected results and elements might break.

    Best regards,
    Rikard

    Hey xela,

    Thanks for the update, we’ll close this thread then. Please open a new thread if you should have any further questions or problems.

    Hey Maggie,

    Thank you for the inquiry.

    The Basecamp and iTunes logos are not available by default, so you need to upload the following file in Enfold > Import/Export > Iconfont Manager.

    // https://1drv.ms/u/s!AjjTfXSRbKTvguNhHdHENtIsAnob_Q?e=111Wsv

    Then add this code to the functions.php file:

    // Register new icon as a theme icon
    function avf_default_icons_mod($icons) {
    	$icons['spotify'] = array( 'font' =>'entypo-fontello', 'icon' => 'ue907');
        $icons['basecamp'] = array( 'font' =>'basecamp', 'icon' => 'ue800');
        $icons['itunes'] = array( 'font' =>'basecamp', 'icon' => 'ue801');
    	return $icons;
    }
    add_filter('avf_default_icons','avf_default_icons_mod', 10, 1);

    // Add new icon as an option for social icons
    function avf_social_icons_options_mod($icons) {
    	$icons['Spotify'] = 'spotify';
        $icons['Basecamp'] = 'basecamp';
        $icons['iTunes'] = 'itunes';
    	return $icons;
    }
    add_filter('avf_social_icons_options','avf_social_icons_options_mod', 10, 1);

    Enfold: Dark Photography Theme, V 6.0.3

    Can’t delete and add new type to TEXT BLOCK.

    On Gallery pages, (In the Avia Layout Builder) ((Belgium, Java etc) Inside the 3rd “color” section there is a row of Blocks. This type can not be edited and it is a glitch. It appears that the type is white inside the editor and will not be deleted so that you can paste text in to replace what is there.
    It is labeled “Text Block”.
    It is the text block just above the line “Recent projects that may Interest you”

    Also in the same area under the “Responsive” tab, the block style icons hang “over” the multiple choice radio box choices. Needs fixing as we can not see the top line choice.

    Please advise asap.

    Hi,

    Thank you for the info.

    The custom font was not selected as the heading and body font in Enfold > General Styling > Fonts tag. We re-selected it as the default font. Please make sure to purge the cache before checking.

    Enfold, I am working on a site currently at preucil.baslerdesign.com, probably my 15-20th site built on Enfold. I am getting pretty good at figuring things out, but I need help here.

    Unfortunately, I am dealing with fairly lengthy secondary menu names: Preucil School of Music | Preucil Preschool | Music Together®

    the length of these three items just does not work well on phone sizes. I reached out to your all some time back to help my with some code to increase the font size on these for phone break point:

    /*—————————————-
    // Increase the size of Secondary Menu text
    //————————————–*/
    #header_meta a, #header_meta span {
    font-size:15px !important;
    }

    This has worked fine. But, different devices are breaking the menu at different places. My iPhone 13 Max breaks after Preucil School of Music, dropping Preucil Preschool and Music Together to a second line.

    Other Android Devices, a putting Preucil School of Music and Preucil Preschool on the first line and dropping just Music Together to the second line.

    Given this, the behavior of the secondary menu dropdowns are wonky. My iPhone does a good job of keeping the dropdown content “on-screen” without cropping off the content at the left of the screen. My client’s iPhone is reportedly chopping off the dropdown content.

    I am stumped. My first thought was that maybe they are changing text sizes through accessibility settings causing this. My other client is an Android user and is reporting the same thing.

    I am wondering if breaking these secondary nav into three lines would work. The three lines would have some sort of break control where I could break each line predictably. This solution would be uglier than I would like but the reality is the “Preucil School of Music” item takes up one line at a reasonable size by itself.

    And, if this can be done, it would be nice to have some sort of line-height control so that the spacing between lines is mobile friendly as each of these need to be clickable.

    Any other thoughts?

    Does it necessarily have to run via the functions.php?
    You could also make the selection in editor mode on the right side in the layout on the corresponding page (https://lingualearn.ch/assessement/) to not display a footer or page. And then either manually – or insert another page at the bottom using the post content element.

    By the way, I no longer see this ALB element in the selection in Enfold 6.0.3.

    Edit: OK – it is now on layout tab ( before it is inside content tab)

    Hi! We have a client who is creating a map with a lot of tooltips (1000+) to chronicle where his career has taken him. He seems to have added so many that it’s stopping the element’s editor from loading when he’s trying to work on the page. Is there anything we can do to fix this, either in Enfold files or Siteground Optimizer? Thanks!

    Hello Support team,
    I recently noticed that the performance score of my website has dropped from 90 (in the green zone) to 85 (now in the yellow zone) after adding some “Enfold built-in” Content Elements like the Post Slider and Testimonials on the homepage.
    Could you please advise on what steps I can take to improve this situation and boost the performance back into the green zone? Any recommendations or adjustments would be greatly appreciated.
    I have taken screenshots to show the issue. I provide a link to them in the “Private Content” section.

    Thank you for your assistance!

    Absolutely, we tried that process first. I have hid the error reporting for now so we can continue to develop, but would love to figure out what exactly is causing it.

    Our PHP version is actually 8.1.25. This is currently the lowest on this server, and what all our sites – including those running Enfold- seem to work fine on. 8.2 still gives trouble with some plug-ins we have noticed.

    In reply to: Mobile Menu Items

    Ismael, thanks for the response above. While working on shethrivespsych.com I have the info in. Enfold > General Styling > Logo Area set and working correctly on the desktop version. However, on the mobile version, the colors in this panel are not reflected in the submenu on the mobile version. I don’t see options for this in Enfold > Advanced Styling, what can i do? How can I get the mobile menu colors to change?

    #1464978

    Hey Lin84,

    Do you mean the strong tag? If so then you can set the colour under Enfold->Advanced Styling.

    Hi Rikard,

    I don’t believe the URLs change. It is very strange as it appears to happen over night (GMT). I can see each page has content on the page builder but a 404 error appears unless I do the permalinks trick I mentioned above. I have installed the health and troubleshoot plugin when I am able to remove all themes and plugins and then slowly add each theme and plugin in individually. If I just add the enfold theme and all other plugins are deactivated, I still get the 404 error – which leads me to assume it is the theme and not a plugin issue.

    To add. the initial landing page titled ‘Solutions’ is working, it is just the portfolio items that have the 404 error even though the content is on the page builder.

    The page will reset tonight and show the 404 error in the morning, I will take a screenshot to show you.

    Any help will be much appreciated.

    Thanks, Sam

    Hi,

    My website is having an issue with the portfolio section since updating the enfold theme. I receive a 404 error on portfolio pages. I can go to my wordpress settings and select permalinks. If I make no changes but press save, suddenly the portfolio pages appear. However, after 24 hours the 404 on the pages reappears. Please can you assist?

    Thanks, Sam

    it is this snippet:

    add_action('wp_head', 'enfold_customization_add_scripts');
    function enfold_customization_add_scripts() {
        ?>
        <link rel="stylesheet" href="https://use.typekit.net/rww4dia.css">
        <?php
    }

    that my comment is for. On my htaccess file i do not allow loading from different sources than my own domain.
    If i would place such a snippet – it will not be loaded – allthough the snippet might be correct.

    if that is not the reason for not loading – try to enqueue that css file:

    function enqueue_external_css() {
       wp_enqueue_style( 'adobe_typekit', 'https://use.typekit.net/rww4dia.css' );
    }
    add_action( 'wp_enqueue_scripts', 'enqueue_external_css', 20 );

    _______________

    i do not know if your first snippet do run with newest enfold. This code snippet has been valid for half an eternity.
    For my installations i use now instead:

    function my_output_google_webfonts_script( $activate ){
      return false;
    }
    add_filter( 'avf_output_google_webfonts_script', 'my_output_google_webfonts_script', 10, 1 );

    Hello,

    I’m trying to replicate the three blue boxes on the home page of your medical theme. The blue boxes read Departments, Medical Services, Research. How do you add left and right padding? Also, how do you overlap the hero with the three blue boxes? Here is the link to the theme I’m referring to.

    Hi,

    If you could share the shortcodes of the page in question then we could try to reproduce the problem on our test sites. You can see shortcodes by activating debug mode under Enfold->Layout Builder->Show advanced options.

    Best regards,
    Rikard

    Thank you for taking a look! We have actually not changed ANYTHING on the default templates under the child theme. Have a few Function overrides, but those do not seem to have any affect. Completely bypassing the child theme still gets us the errors. Because this is not yet a LIVE site, we would prefer to FIX the errors and not just hide them. What can we do to get to the bottom of what is causing these errors? (have never seen them on any other WooCommerce site running Enfold we have worked on.

    Thank you in advance!

    #1464916

    Hi,
    Thanks for the test page, so to have a different SVG icon for each item you need to use a different font-icon for each item so you can use a different code in the css for each item:
    Enfold Support 6461
    I then copied the base css from the example link and added your font-icon codes and your SVG icon URLs:

    [data-av_iconfont="entypo-fontello"][data-av_icon="\e89f"]:before{font-size:0;width: 50px; height: 50px; display: inline-block; background-size: contain;background-image: url(/wp-content/uploads/2024/08/home-icon.png) !important}
    [data-av_iconfont="entypo-fontello"][data-av_icon="\e8a0"]:before{font-size:0;width: 50px; height: 50px; display: inline-block; background-size: contain;background-image: url(/wp-content/uploads/2024/08/people-icon.png) !important}
    [data-av_iconfont="entypo-fontello"][data-av_icon="\e8a1"]:before{font-size:0;width: 50px; height: 50px; display: inline-block; background-size: contain;background-image: url(/wp-content/uploads/2024/08/bed-icon.png) !important}
    [data-av_iconfont="entypo-fontello"][data-av_icon="\e8a2"]:before{font-size:0;width: 50px; height: 50px; display: inline-block; background-size: contain;background-image: url(/wp-content/uploads/2024/08/bath-icon.png) !important}

    Then to make the gray backgrounds transparent I added this css:

    .page-id-321 .main_color .avia-icon-list .iconlist_icon {
        background-color: transparent;
    }

    This is the result:

    Hi Enfold team,

    I have to restyle a website, the design shows 2 buttons with links in the header:
    Button 1: ‘Vraag hier uw OFFERTE aan’, with a link to /offerte
    Button 2: ‘STORING? Bel direct + 31 (0)85 400 00 36’, with al link to this phonenumber

    I don’t know how to realize this in the same way the design shows. Hopefully you can help me how to create this?

    Hi,

    Where would you like to position the language switcher exactly? Please provide a screenshot. You can display them again in mobile view using this css code:

    @media only screen and (max-width: 768px) {

      /* Add your Mobile Styles here */
      .responsive #top .av-main-nav .menu-item-language {
        display: inline-block;
      }
    }

    To display the social icons in the footer, go to the Enfold > Footer panel, then toggle the Social Icons option.

    Hello at kriesi,
    I have used following code for showing some social icons in der footer widget.

    <ul class="noLightbox social_bookmarks icon_count_3">
     	<li class="social_bookmarks_x av-social-link-x social_icon_1"><a title="X" href="https://twitter.com/destinatbrand" target="_blank" rel="noopener" aria-hidden="true" data-av_icon="" data-av_iconfont="entypo-fontello"><span class="avia_hidden_link_text">X</span></a></li>
     	<li class="social_bookmarks_linkedin av-social-link-linkedin social_icon_2"><a title="LinkedIn" href="https://www.linkedin.com/company/destination-brand-by-inspektour/" target="_blank" rel="noopener" aria-hidden="true" data-av_icon="" data-av_iconfont="entypo-fontello"><span class="avia_hidden_link_text">LinkedIn</span></a></li>
     	<li class="social_bookmarks_xing av-social-link-xing social_icon_3"><a title="XING" href="https://www.xing.com/pages/inspektourgmbh-tourismus-undregionalentwicklung" target="_blank" rel="noopener" aria-hidden="true" data-av_icon="" data-av_iconfont="entypo-fontello"><span class="avia_hidden_link_text">xing</span></a></li>
    </ul>

    Despite the fact that I have updated enfold to the latest version the X Icon is still showing the old twitter bird. I guess it is because of the wrong code in data-av_icon=””.

    What can I do to get the correct X icon shown?

    Thanks.

    Best Regards

    Hi,

    1. Please try the following in Quick CSS under Enfold->General Styling:

    .select2-container–default .select2-results__option–highlighted[aria-selected], .select2-container–default .select2-results__option–highlighted[data-selected], #top .select2-results {
    color: #000 !important;
    }

    2. The background styling seems to be added inline in the paragraph, maybe the content was copied from somewhere? You can try to remove the styling directly in the content.

    3. Please try the following in Quick CSS under Enfold->General Styling:

    .woocommerce-terms-and-conditions-checkbox-text {
    color: #fff;
    }

    Best regards,

    Hey CharlieTh,

    Thank you for the inquiry.

    1.) You can adjust the space between the menu items by adjusting the Line Height property of the Menu Links in overlay/slide out element in the Enfold > Advanced Styling panel. You can also use this css code:

    .html_av-overlay-full #top #wrap_all #av-burger-menu-ul li {
        line-height: 0.6em;
    }

    2.) To move the social icons to the center, please add this css code:

    #top nav #av-burger-menu-ul .only-burger.menu-item-social {
        display: flex;
        flex-direction: column;
    }

    #top nav #av-burger-menu-ul .social_bookmarks {
        margin: 0 auto;
    }

    Best regards,
    Ismael
