Thank you very much for the link. I have now tried various things, but unfortunately all previous attempts to get this ENFOLD contact form to work have failed. (I’m very surprised and a bit helpless, because I’ve never had this problem before (and I’ve been using ENFOLD for all my websites for almost 9 years now)

to the current status and what I have tried:

1. Typos and SPAM > Checked everything, checked with various email addresses
2. I tried the suggested changes in the function.phph-file, after it didn’t change anything, I removed the suggested code:

return “ (Email address hidden if logged out) ”
}
add_filter(‘avf_form_from’, ‘change_cf_from’, 10);

3. I also tried installing the “Solid Mail” plugin without success and then uninstalled the plugin again.
4.Then: a new contact form from ENFOLD with standard settings integrated into a test page: see link: http://neu2025.lebendigfuehlen.de/home-test/#enfold
– As a test, my own email is entered here as the recipient for the contact form
– I have filled out the contact form and after pressing the “Send” button the message “Your message has been sent” appears >> see screenshot: enfold1.jpg. and enfold2.jpg.
>> !! BUT no message arrives! / There are also no messages blocked or in any SPAM folder, everything checked.

5. Then I created a contact form via Contact form 7. See link: http://neu2025.lebendigfuehlen.de/home-test/#contact7
– Again, I filled out the contact form (see screenshot: contact7-1.jpg) and it WORKS.
>> Both emails (which I sent to different email addresses as a test) arrived – both the confirmation email to the author of the message and the notification to the recipient of the contact form: see screenshot: “contact7-2.jpg

>> WHAT DOES THIS MEAN, that it works with Contact 7, but not with the ENFOLD theme?
The customer wants as few plugins as possible, so it would be important to make the ENFOLD contact form work as well.
Therefore, I would like to ask you: What can I do to make the above contact form from Enfold work: http://neu2025.lebendigfuehlen.de/home-test/#enfold

Please help me further. I have never had this problem in all these years and really don’t know what to do.

Hi! Thank you for your reply, I really appreciate your time and effort in trying to help. I’ve updated the theme from version 6.0.6 to 6.0.8 as you suggested, just to rule out any possibilities. However, I’d like to kindly ask you to review my earlier notes. If this were an easy fix, I wouldn’t have reached out in the first place.
The back-and-forth process takes a whole day for each reply, which makes it time-consuming for both of us. If this is an issue you haven’t encountered before or if there’s no solution, please let me know so I can move on (the simple way, I think, I will just install download manager plugin).
As I mentioned, the issue doesn’t seem to come from the template or version. I’m using the same template, hosting, and configurations on two sites with the same WordPress and PHP versions, htaccess. On one site, everything works perfectly, but on the other, it doesn’t—even with all plugins disabled. I can see that it works fine on your site, which is great—I’d just like to achieve the same result. The only difference I can think of is that I installed different demos from Enfold on each site. I’m not sure if that could be affecting anything, but I wanted to mention it just in case. My thoughts that there is a script forcing to open the file instead of downloading, but why and from where this script can come from. I switched template on already existing site to other default templates, and everything is the same.

i don’t understand this token thing at all. Very frustrating. How do i get a token for Envato so i can update the theme?

I see I created some sort of token name whan i first downloaded the theme, not fully understanding what this is for. Please help.

I have a Themeforest account and downloaded an update from theme forest. it is a ‘folder” that is named “enfold” with no identification what version it is. Non compressed. i created a ZIP, uploaded and it was rejected.

What check boxes are you supposed to select for these Envato tokens?

UPDATE; Created a new token (checked ALL boxes):
I have pasted the “OAuth Client ID” which I assume is the Token. no?
I also pasted a long code that was generated prior and that did not work either.

ERRORS….
Last time we checked the token we were not able to connected to Envato:

Purchases could not be accessed
Username could not be accessed (needed for your information only)
E-Mail could not be accessed (needed for your information only)
Following errors occurred:

Purchases: Your private token is invalid.
username Your private token is invalid.
email Your private token is invalid.
Purchases: A problem occurred accessing your purchases. Unable to check for updates.

and also, perhaps you know how to add Google fonts to Enfold?

Looking further into this issue, it only has to do with the mobile version of this site. Does Enfold add a noindex to the mobile version??

Right. That’s what I found too. That’s why it’s so confusing. Is Google Search Console (GSC) adding this to it saying it’s a “bad” page? If so, why is only coming up when Enfold is active??

I have seen now that I activate the enfold or enfold child theme it drops to 256M and if I activate the twenty twenty five theme it changes what appears in the health info site:

I needed to post a support question but it said that my license had expired and I needed to re-purchase it – so I purchased a 12 month license. Was that not required?

My query above actually related to whether Enfold software updates automatically update on my site.
