Hi
I am using the Enfold theme with WooCommerce, but the tax line is missing on the cart/checkout page.
WWooCommerce settings are all good and it works with other Themes, but with Enfold, something is blocking it, any help is much appreciated.

Hello,
we are new to ENFOLD and try to get an intranet working with WP + ENFOLD. As advised I created a child theme which seems to be working. However, when I try to implement a textblock with fold/unfold function in a column this doesn’t work. We want to have 3 columns side by side, each with folded content which unfolds when clicking on the “weiterlesen” (read more) button. The only thing you see though is the “read more” button. Looking at the code, I realised that the code for the button is above the code for the textblock. This should be beneath the textblock. Also the whole content of the textblock is hidden, instead of just the bottom of it. What did I do wrong? Greetings Ruth

I disabled the Integrated (Bundled) LayerSlider in Enfold under the Layout Builder as well as opted to remove the theme plugin files and slides.
Now I would like it back.
How do I do that?
Hi,
Thanks for the clarification. I see that you have two caching plugin activate, did you make sure to clear the cache from them? You could also try to toggle the file compression options and option to delete old CSS and JS files under Enfold->Performance.

Rikard
This text is already there before you fill out the form, so that’s fine. But you see exactly the problem, after filling out the form you should get the Paypal buttons displayed, but unfortunately this is no longer possible with Enfold. If I activate a standard template, then it works again…
HI,
My colour section backgrounds are no longer showing on the live page. But they are showing in a preview mode?
I have tried reinstalling the latest enfold build but no change.
Please can you advise.
Many Thanks Paul

Thank you! I have tried various solutions to import the settings from the parent theme to the child, but unfortunately it does not import all the settings, especially the css. I have read the documentation on the performance settings in Enfold but it still doesn’t work.
Hey Gunter,
We might have a bug with how the enfold parser is handling
tags that are inserted into an ALB element. Across multiple sites now we have randomly had images disappear entirely from the page, and from the source code. This only seems to ONLY affect images that are inserted via an img tag, and not via the ALB Image element or any sliders etc.
Eg: Insert a text block via ALB. Use the Add Media button to add an image.
Eg: Insert a timeline via ALB. Use the Add Media button to add an image.
The page will work just fine, but then after some days randomly some of these images will not only be gone from the front end, but entirely missing from the backend as well, even in the shortcode debugging section. Then entire img tag just gets completely stripped out, like it was never there.
Have you had any reported instances of something like this before, or can you take a look at how Enfold parses these and see if you can spot any issues?
This has been occurring now for a couple of months across multiple sites.
Thanks a lot
Tim
Hi,
Thank you for the inquiry.
The only known host so far having issues with the demo import is OVH, but it’s possible that restrictions on your server are causing the import to fail. If that is the case, you can try manually importing the demo by following these steps:
— Download the demo that you’d like to install from this link: https://github.com/KriesiMedia/enfold-library/tree/master/demos
— Extract the zip file and retrieve the XML file.
— After that, go to Dashboard > Tools > Import and install the WordPress importer, then run it.
— Upload the XML demo file.
The demo images may not be included in the import due to server security restrictions. You can edit the pages and upload your own images.
Let us know if this works.
Best regards,
Ismael
Hey northorie,
Thank you for the inquiry.
Yes, the layout should be possible with Enfold but it will require some modifications. Unfortunately, we won’t be able to build a demo specifically for this site, but we can assist you if you encounter any issues building the layout.

Ismael

I bought an enfold theme and your support at Envato market and registered my account with you by using the Item Purchase Code.
When I wanted to create my login on kriesi.at, I was told that I would receive an email at the above mentioned address. Unfortunately, I never received that email, in spite of trying it multiple times.
HOW CAN I GET MY PASSWORD?
Please help.

Hi,
a while ago I purchased an Enfold theme and I accidentally bought the second time, I have been trying to contact EvantoMarket to get a refund but they have never responded,
I also have a technical question, as my website Cart page doesn’t show the Tax portion, this is not a WooCommerce issue, all settings are good and it works with other themes.
Hey Augeundso,
A child theme allows you to add customizations to core element files that you don’t want to lose on your next update.
For example, if you wanted to customize a element like the contact form, and you found a solution that says add some PHP code to your functions.php file, the next time you update you will lose this code. If you don’t need this kind of customization, you will be fine.
If you are not using a child theme you could use the WP Code plugin then add a new snippet, in the top right corner use the PHP snippet as the code type:

and ensure that it is activated, then add your code and save.
You can add a child theme at any time, follow these steps: child theme

Hi Ismael!
The decoding attribute was there before but the loading lazy is gone. How do I bring back lazy load?
Sending you another website on the private content section with an older version of Enfold (5.7.1) where you can see both elements lazy loading and decoding. Latest update to Enfold on the first site I sent you got rid of the lazy loading.
Updated directly from Envato.
Thank you!

Hi guys,
maybe a very silly question but: I often read of child theme.
I just installed enfold (a while ago) and started to build the website and thats all. never thought about a child theme.
Whats that?
Do i need that?
And why? Can i still do that at this point? (3 websites running on 3 enfold licences)
Thanks in advance
Auge
Hi,
When I check your site: https://www.traumwandel.de/
it says “updates: disabled”
Please see this page and read “Step 2: Set required Token Permission”
or Install the Envato market plugin and set up your token key.

Hi,
Try adding this CSS in your Enfold Theme Options ▸ General Styling ▸ Quick CSS field:
.av_seperator_small_border .av-main-nav>li>a>.avia-menu-text {
border-right-style: solid;
border-right-width: 1px;
padding-right: 13px;
margin-right: -13px;
}
Please ensure to copy the code from the forum and not an email notification so the symbols are not converted.
After applying the css, please clear your browser cache and check.
Best regards,
Mike
Hi,
I’m a great fan of the enfold theme and running it on three own pages and on clients pages.
I really like the layout and style on this page, which is built with Avada : Link
Is there a way to achieve this with enfold? Could you build a demo to use?
I’d rather keep using enfold.
Best regards
Hi Guenni007,
Are you saying to remove all if the css added from the documentation on
With your proposed ccs?
Will that cancel out everything done so far by Rikard?
I appreciate the help with this, it’s very frustrating it is so difficult to have a layout like this that just works.
Hi,
Try this CSS in your Enfold Theme Options ▸ General Styling ▸ Quick CSS field:
@media only screen and (max-width: 768px) {
.avia-caption-content p {
font-size: 40px !important;
}
}
#top.home .av-special-heading.avia-builder-el-5 {
margin-top: 0;
}
After applying the css, please clear your browser cache and check.
Best regards,
Mike
Hi,
As I understand, you see this:

and would like this:

Try this CSS in your Enfold Theme Options ▸ General Styling ▸ Quick CSS field:
@media only screen and (max-width: 767px) {
.page-id-4540 .av_one_fifth.avia-builder-el-59,.av_one_fifth.avia-builder-el-66 {
display: none;
}
.responsive #top.page-id-4540 #wrap_all .content .entry-content-wrapper .flex_column.av_one_fifth {
width: 33%;
}
}
After applying the css, please clear your browser cache and check.

Hi,
Unfortunately this will be needed to create at the theme level, if you would like to request this feature the Dev Team has opened a new Github Feature Request for users to place requests and follow them as the Dev Team reviews them.

Hi,
I see that you are using vc builder to build your site, Enfold has it’s own builder and typically is not compatible with wp-blocks, elementor, or VC, or other builders.
I believe that the “way-points” script is not firing the starts the animation after 3 seconds has a conflict with your VC builder way-point script and I don’t see a solution. Unfortunately we don’t support other builders or third party plugins.
I also don’t see a second language on your site so I can’t tell if this is a result of your translation.
Best regards,
Mike
