    Hey El_Chapo!

    Thank you for using Enfold.

    The page analysis doesn’t work with the advance layout builder but search engine can still properly recognize the content of the site. Please refer to this link: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/yoast-seo-and-special-heading/#post-349204

    Cheers!

    I just updated my Enfold theme to the latest version & after doing so, everything is fine except the placement (alignment) of my social icons. I am using a child theme. The site is http://www.monicawalston.com. The social icons in the top menu used to be further to the right, so there was a space between the search icon & the twitter icon. Now those two are practically on top of each other.

    Anyone ever encountered this or know how to fix it? My custom css didn’t change so IDK what the deal is. I’m stumped?

    Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

    Just got everything updated. WP 4.0.1, Enfold 3.0.4.

    Where do I go to activate a transparent header again? I have looked everywhere and see no obvious option to do this. I even tried Google searching for a topic on it.

    Update: Found the options watching this video:
    http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/portfolio-item/intro-to-the-header-configurator/

    Silly of me to forget this.

    @jorgepelaez: Thanks for posting the debug! I do not see anything that might explain your issue.

    Just to check whether Enfold is causing it, you might want to switch to WP’s default theme. Then, via the default theme, send a test email using a Contact Form 7 form. If you receive this mail, Enfold is causing your mail issues. If you don’t receive it, it’s either your WP setup, a plugin or hosting-related:

    – To make sure your WP setup is okay: Go to Admin > Dashboard > Updates and click the ‘Re-install Now’ button. This has fixed things for me in the past.
    – To make sure it’s not a plugin; de-activate all plugins.
    – To make sure it’s not your webhost: Contact them about your issue.

    Here’s a script that you can use to test wp_mail: http://www.butlerblog.com/2012/09/23/testing-the-wp_mail-function/

    I also Googled on the CF7 error you mentioned and there are some fixes being mentioned. Perhaps one of them will fix your issue. Here’s the SERP »

    Update: I checked the CF7 site and it explains the errors here: http://contactform7.com/faq/after-submitting-the-form-i-get-an-error-message/

    I hope this helps.

    Best,

    Ralph

    Hi TheElear!

    To quote my mate Dude from https://kriesi.at/support/topic/2-translation-issues/#post-278529:

    “You can translate all static text strings with Codestyling. Download and install the plugin ( http://wordpress.org/plugins/codestyling-localization/ ), go to Tools > Localization and select “Themes”. Then search for “Enfold” in the list and select your language and click on “Rescan” to search for all text strings. Afterwards click on “Edit” and translate the required strings from the “avia_framework” textdomain. At least click the “create mo file” button next to the “Textdomain” selection dropdown (top left corner).”

    I use Enfold, WPML and Relevanssi. In the Relevanssi plugin options I have opted to only search in the current language.

    When I use the search box, I get the correct results in only the current language. However, at the bottom of the search box there is a link with “view all results”. When I click this it goes wrong. This is because the link has double the ?lang=en in the URL. For example searching for keyword price would be: /?lang=en?lang=en&s=price and it should be /?lang=en&s=price

    How to fix this?

    Kind regards,
    Gerson

    Hi, I searched for topics on this, but couldn’t find the the answer:

    On Enfold portfolio pages, there are next/previous links that appear when hovering over the left (previous) or right (next) sides of the page. However, these links don’t appear when there is a full width slider on the page.

    Is there any way to have the next/previous links as well as a full width slider?

    Thanks
    Dunc

    PS. Thanks again for your speedy efforts in fixing the WordPress 4.0.1 bugs so quickly last night!

    same issue here, updated to enfold 3.0.4, still no changes (yes, cleared cache, i deactivated plugins), even opened on a computer which 99% never has been on the side.
    so 3.0.4 doesn’t work for me :-(
    I am not asking for support as I opened another thread. Just want to give moderators and admins a hint where to start searching, as the latest update doesn’t do it for all.

    Hello there, so i am trying to get the easy slider showing on my webpage. I have tried using it on multiple pages, used different images and nothing seems to work.

    I even searched the forum and changed the line in
    enfold/config-layerslider/LayerSlider/includes/slider_markup_init.php

    to this
    $slides[‘properties’][‘attrs’][‘skinsPath’] = ‘http://beta.geology.utah.gov/wp-content/themes/enfold/config-layerslider/LayerSlider/static/skins/’;

    Please help!

    There is a problem with search on this site guys, if you pm me your ftp details I can fix it for you ;)

    On a serious note use the search

    https://kriesi.at/support/?bbp_search=enfold+search/

    Then go to page 2, you have an invalid character after the /

    kriesi.at/support/search/enfold%2F/page/2/

    you need to remove the %2F (the second / )

    Do i get a free cup of coffee lol

    Hi COLORIT!

    Thank you for using Enfold.

    Go to the Layer Slider panel then look for the Load Google Fonts. Search for the google font that you want, example, Lato. Select font weights then click Add font. Create a layer then go to the Styles > Custom CSS field. Add something like this:

    font-family: 'Lato', sans-serif; font-weight: 900;

    On the head tag, you should see the layer slider google font code:

    <link rel='stylesheet' id='ls-google-fonts-css'  href='http://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Lato:100,100italic,300,300italic,regular,italic,700,700italic,900,900italic&subset=latin%2Clatin-ext'

    Cheers!

    Hey Joe!

    Thank you for using Enfold.

    I’m sorry but we don’t usually provide support for third party plugins as stated on our support policy and I don’t know any premium themes who officially support or locally configured with the plugin. I’m not sure where the line breaks are coming from but you can remove them with this on the Quick CSS file:

    table.ccbpress-group-search br {
    display: none;
    }

    Use this to fix the dash icons:

    .dashicons {
    float: left;
    margin-right: 5px;
    }

    .dashicons + p {
    margin-top: -5px;
    }

    Best regards,
    Ismael

    Hi,
    There’s a bug when you try to use Google Maps field from ACF PRO plugin in posts or post types.
    You cannot browse either search for locations while edit post.

    Locating… message is constant.

    I tried this with 3 different enfold installations.

    Thanks

    I purchased a plugin called CCBPress that doesn’t seem to be working correctly with Enfold. I’d like to ask for help to determine if they simply won’t work together no matter what, or if there is a fix. After some trial and error with the plugin developer, they said I need to talk to my theme developer.

    When a vistor clicks the search button on this page, the plugin displays a list of groups (the group data is being pulled from a separate backend database). The groups are supposed to display as they do on this other web site (after hitting the search button) which is using the same plugin with a different theme. Notice there are no extra paragraphs between the icons, and the group info displays nicely.

    On my site many extra paragraph tags seem to be getting added in that mess up the layout. I tried using the “Toggle Wpautop” plugin to disable wpautop on this groups page but it had no effect. I tried several other similar plug ins as well to no avail.

    I need to determine if Enfold can work with CCBPress because if not, I will probably need to find a different theme.
    Can you take a look and see if you can determine the problem, or let me know what to try to fix it?
    Thank you

    Hello,

    1st Question
    I’ve searched in many forums but can’t find a solution. I’d like to have the sidebar showing on the right for single product pages (woocommerce) but I only get the widgets showing at the bottom of the page. I’ve seen that customers have already asked this question, but there is clear answer and the link I’ve seen points to nowher (http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/change-woocommerce-single-product-page-layout/)

    Is there a way to have this?

    2nd Question

    On my page product and in product sliders I have some missing products. I’ve checked their status, checked their categories but I can’t get them to show. What would you recommend.

    PS: I’m amazed by the number of questions you receive everyday. My first post in the forum and I hope (for you) may last one.

    Thanks.

    Hi,
    I search the support section and follow the guide on how to make contact form 7 in two column.
    But i like to know how can i make the Your Interest select option in the contact form 7 width in 100%

    My contact form is

    <div class=”flex_column av_one_half first”>First Name (required) [text* first-name]</div>

    <div class=”flex_column av_one_half”>Last Name (required) [text* last-name]</div>

    <div class=”flex_column av_one_half first”>Email (required) [email* your-email]</div>

    <div class=”flex_column av_one_half”>Your Interest (required) [select* your-interest include_blank “Web Design” “Web Maintenance” “Online Makerting” “Other”]</div>

    <div class=”flex_column “>Subject (required) [text* Model your-subject]</div>

    <div class=”flex_column”>Message (required) [textarea your-message]</div>

    <p>Are You Human?
    [captchac captcha-810]<br />
    Input The Code : [captchar captcha-810]</p>

    [submit]

    I also put a css in the enfold quick css

    input.wpcf7-form-control.wpcf7-text {
    width: 100% !important;
    }
    input.wpcf7-form-control.wpcf7-select {
    width: 100% !important;
    }

    Hi doritnir!

    1. Try adding this to your custom CSS.

    #socket .copyright { width: 100% !important; }

    2. I think it would be best to use Ismael’s suggestion here to add more google fonts, https://kriesi.at/support/topic/add-new-font/#post-234710. This way you can use the theme features for styling in Dashboard > Enfold > General Styling and also in the advanced styling tab. But if you still want to use CSS then you should be able to target them with this.

    .avia-testimonial-content {  }
    .main-title, .main-title a {  }
    .avia-menu > li > a, .avia-menu > li {  }

    3. Try adding this to your custom CSS.

    .avia-testimonial-meta { margin-right: 0px !important; }

    4. Try editing line 9 in /enfold/searchform.php.

    'placeholder'  	=> __('Search','avia_framework'),

    Cheers!

    Hi DJ!

    Are you trying to do this? http://www.vervesearch.com/blog/how-to-implement-the-relpublisher-google-authorship-mark-up/

    If so then try adding this to the bottom of your /enfold/functions.php file.

    add_filter( 'wp_head', 'enfold_customization_add_header_meta' );
    function enfold_customization_add_header_meta() {
    	?>
    	<link rel = "publisher" href = "your URL goes here" />
    	<?php
    }

    Hi,
    A few questions –
    1) how can I center the sentence in the socket? the <center> tag doesn’t seem to work…?
    2) I’m using google fonts for the site, but I can’t change the fonts for the title bar headings, the upper menu and some shortcodes titles (like the name in testimonials for example). What are their css selectors? (I’m using easy google fonts)
    3) I’m using the rtl option. When I use the testimonial content element, the name under the quote is not right aligned to the text, but floats somewhere in the middle.
    4) Where can I translate the word “search” in the search box?

    I’m using enfold-child and did some quick css changes.

    Thank you!!

    Hello! We LOVE the Enfold Theme- by far the best WP theme we have ever worked with :)

    Quick question- our site is a blog that had lots of YouTube videos. Most of our blog posts have a video highlighted in them. We need the ability to tag AND categorize YouTube videos, so that when a site visitor runs a site search, that search includes video tags and categories. Does Enfold offer the built in ability to tag and/or categorize a video when it is placed in a blog post?

    If not, could you please recommend a good plugin we could use for this that would work well with the Enfold theme?

    Thank you!!!

    #352971

    Hi fixedopsinsight!

    Thank you for visiting the support forum.

    Yes, you can use the Enfold theme. http://themeforest.net/item/enfold-responsive-multipurpose-theme/4519990?ref=Kriesi

    Please take some time to review all of the resources in the Theme Documentation. A lot of basic stuff like theme installation, element configuration, options overview, css snippets and whole lot of handy stuff regarding the theme are probably available in there. You can watch video tutorials or get hold of a few hooks and filter functions that may help you modify the theme as you like. You can also search the forum for any related questions or issues.

    If you don’t find what you’re looking for, don’t hesitate to let us know and we will be happy to assist you. For any complicated questions or add-on, please visit our Feature Requests page. Thanks!

    Best regards,
    Ismael

    Hey!

    I see. I’m sorry but we don’t provide support for third party plugins and honestly, I haven’t tried polylang yet. You can find the ajax search function on function-enfold.php file. I’ll ask Kriesi to take a look.

    By adding a short line of code to the website, you can make your Google+ page eligible to show up on the right hand side of the Google search page for relevant queries and make your Google+ page more discoverable.

    However, you need to add the G+ link as a rel=”publisher” link and not a rel=”author” link. Also, this link must have text that reads “Google+” instead of the “Gplus” that is currently implemented in Enfold. I would love to just have this as part of the Social Profiles that is already built into the theme.

    I cannot find the code to change this. Can you please provide me with some code that I can add to the Child “functions.php” or Child “style.css” file to allow this?

    #352920

    Hey spheor!

    Thank you for using Enfold.

    You can’t rename the theme folder because it will disable the theme. What you can do is redirect the users, if and when they stumble upon the themes directory, in which the probability is close to none. For seo purposes, you can disallow crawlers to access the directory by using robot.txt. Please refer to this link: http://codex.wordpress.org/Search_Engine_Optimization_for_WordPress#Robots.txt_Optimization

    An example of a robots.txt file would be:

    Allow: /
    Disallow: /wp-admin/
    Disallow: /wp-content/plugins/
    Disallow: /wp-content/themes/enfold/framework/
    Disallow: /feed/
    Disallow: */feed/
    Disallow: /wp-content/themes/enfold/config-layerslider/

    You can use this plugin to edit the .htaccess file and add redirects: https://wordpress.org/plugins/wordpress-seo/

    Cheers!

    Hello!

    I need to change a few things to make the theme more search engine friendly.

    1/ add nofollow to the logo image link

    2/ in the blog grid layout add nofollow to the featured image link

    3/ remove the date under the image

    4/ and nofollow to the thumbnail 36×36 icons on the right

    5/ in a post (second link in the private box below) a title should not link to the same post it belongs to creating a loop. I need to remove the link keeping the title.

    Thank you for looking into it!
