    Hello Enfold Support,

    I would like to delete demo authors and their comments left over from my install. Google keeps searching for content that isnt there. Any advice?

    My breadcrumbs currently include a category on posts and products.

    Is there a way to remove these in a functions file?

    Better yet. This should be an option in the admin.

    Breadcrumbs affect site architecture and search engine crawling and indexing.

    Hi Guys,

    Sorry to dig this one up again. I’ve just updated to the latest version of Enfold 3.1.5 and have now I’m experiencing the same menu item issue (as above) on iPads in landscape view.

    When viewed on an iPad Air the ‘Search’ option on my menu drops below the other menu items which in turn covers up the breadcrumb of other pages. Here is a previous screen grab of the same problem http://dev.marcgodfreeweddings.co.uk/IMG_0006.JPG

    The code above worked from Josue on the previous version of Enfold so I guess a little tweak is needed but I’m unsure what to change.

    Can you also let me know what code I need to include to remove the 2 verticle lines either side of the search icon?

    Thank you!
    Marc

    Hey!

    Thank you for using Enfold.

    Please take some time to review the resources in the Theme Documentation. A lot of basic stuff like theme installation, element configuration, options overview, css snippets and whole lot of handy stuff regarding the theme. If it’s not enough, try to search for any related topic inside the support forum: https://kriesi.at/support/

    You can download the demo content on Enfold > Demo Import panel. Look for the photography demo.

    If you can’t find what you’re looking for, don’t hesitate to let us know and we will be happy to assist you.

    Cheers!

    Hi Guys, just in the process of migrating my existing website to Enfold.

    I’ve searched, and seen similar posts, but can’t find the answer.
    This is a brand new website, and I’ve uploaded the sample pages and am slowly changing the content.
    I’m trying to add images to the “About Us” page, but when I click on the ‘Change Image’ button, or “Insert Image’ button, nothing happens.

    I’ve been able to change the homepage logo, so that worked for some reason.

    I’m using win8.1, with Chrome and IE11, but both are having the same problem.

    Hi!

    Add the code again in the functions.php file:

    add_action('ava_inside_main_menu', 'ava_inside_main_menu_mod');
    function ava_inside_main_menu_mod() {
    get_search_form();
    }

    If you don’t want to lose this modification every time you update the theme, use a child theme: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/using-a-child-theme/

    Regards,
    Ismael

    Hi There ~ per my topic title.. this is the issue.. the woocommerce product pricing is not showing up when using enfold’s advanced editor. I already contacted woocommerce and upon their research they discovered that this is apparently a known issue with the Enfold theme.. the problem is that I’m deeply in the production phase and assumed per all of your documentation that your theme fully supports woocommerce. so if your advanced editor cannot be used, this is a significant problem. Im hoping that perhaps you know of a solution? Below is a link to one product set up this way .. whereas the other products are set up with the simple editor and therefore the pricing can be seen:

    Hi Nicole,

    I just did a quick Google search on the issue and found a Kriesi forum that mentions the same issue you are experiencing:
    https://kriesi.at/support/topic/woocommerce-single-page-avia-advanced-editor/

    It the information there does not help, the issue seems like it is an ongoing issue with their advanced editor. Perhaps contacting their support may be your best bet.

    In reply to: CSS Adaption on Enfold

    Hi!

    Thank you for the link.

    We don’t encourage user to post multiple questions in a single thread. We would like to keep each thread subject related as much as possible so that users with the same problem or request can easily find it in the search. Please be specific with the questions and provide more info and screenshot if possible. Most of the questions above are unclear. For example:

    Here is an image with 1130px x 636px http://www.alfaweb.at/testwaldi/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/fuerse%C3%B6bstaendige.jpg and i want to display it over the first image.

    2/7.) What do you mean by “first image”? We have to go back to question number 2 to check it. Are you trying to combine those images?

    3.) Add a color section, add the image as background then insert a Video element inside.

    4.) Looks like you’re trying to combine two images again with different dimension and size. Why not combine them as a single image?

    8.) Go to General Styling > Footer panel to add a background.

    9.) Please elaborate a little bit.

    10.) You can add html tags or codes in the Enfold > Footer > Copyright field.

    Thank you for your understanding.

    Best regards,
    Ismael

    .html_header_searchicon_disabled #top .main_menu .menu>li:last-child>a .avia-menu-fx {
      padding-right: 0; }

    Please make sure to disable CSS minifying feature on the plugin you are using.

    Hey!

    Thank you for using Enfold.

    Please add this in the Quick CSS field:

    li#menu-item-search a:after {
      content: 'Search';
      display: block;
      position: absolute;
      font-size: 11px;
      top: 5px;
      left: 30px;
    }

    Adjust the position if necessary.

    Regards,
    Ismael

    All due respect, If this was a server issue, the same thing would occur when I switched themes. It does not.

    Also, these files are not large at all. The problem is not limited to .PNG images, it occurs on .JPG, .GIF, .PNG and .PDF files. I have recreated this issue on no less than six sites using Enfold now. On all six sites, when I Switch to ANY other theme, the uploads work flawlessly, so I don’t see how this is a server issue. I am not switching severs when I switch theme. Also, I have researched this issue extensively and numerous other members of this forum have also reported the exact same issue.

    Why does this only occur on Enfold and not on then other 4-5 themes I have switched (2015, 2014, 2013, 2012, BE,) to that allow me to flawlessly upload images to the media library when Enfold will not??

    Is there any way to remove the page title from the html <title> tag on a per page basis from within the Enfold theme except changing the header.php file? Or is there any compatible plugin to do this? After searching for quite some time, i couldn’t find anything fitting.

    #438686

    Hey!

    Thank you for using Enfold.

    Add this to the functions.php:

    add_action('ava_inside_main_menu', 'ava_inside_main_menu_mod');
    function ava_inside_main_menu_mod() {
    	get_search_form();
    }

    Remove the default search icon on Enfold > Header > Extra Elements panel.
    Cheers!

    I override default tab layout, but after updating the page all custom tabs are disappearing and override function is deactivated. Activating override doesn’t help, because it will be inactive again as soon, as I reload the page or update the product.

    When I switch to original WP theme or any other theme (Avada, Nimble, etc) plugin works just fine.
    I make research here on forum and find out that this isn’t a single case. Would you please look into it.

    Tnx

    Hi,

    I want to display a full with submenu on one page and slide between the the parts on the page, like in the enfold-startup demo.
    Don´t use the Demo.

    I build a extra Menu and add it to the full with submenu button, no problem, but how can I bring the Menuparts to slide over the side?
    Search for some help in the forum and FAQ but don´t finde a hint, please help me, with a screenshot or something else, so I can build it up.

    Thx, a lot.

    Hey alfaweb2!

    Thank you for coming back.

    Out of the box – no.

    You can modify:
    enfold\includes\loop-search.php line 38ff.

    Take a look at enfold\includes\loop-index.php to get an idea how to do it.

    Hello,

    I have 2 questions. I’m sorry if it has been answered already but I’m knew here and it’s not really easy to search the forum as the search doesn’t limit to Enfold answer but it includes all. Please let me know if there’s a better way.

    1. I noticed if I choose an overlay color and a background image only the color applies and the background image gets ignored. What I’m trying to accomplish is to darken the color section’s background image by choosing black as an overlay color and adjusting opacity according to my needs. I use a dotted pattern as the background image for the effect but it doesn’t get applied if the background color is picked.
    I can accomplish what I need with custom CSS but I was wondering if this behavior is by design.

    2. I upload my pattern png into the “predefined pattern” in wp-content/themes/enfold/images/background-images so I can pick it from the drop-down list as opposed to from the media library every time. The problem is that with each Enfold theme update this files gets lost. Is there another way to leave my pattern file? I use a child theme.

    Thank you.

    Because the Enfold ajax search uses the get_posts WordPress function which orders posts by post_date and doesn’t support a custom ordering based on post type order.

    However as we already group the returning $posts by post type it would be just a matter of doing a re-order, try adding this after line in 185 in functions-enfold.php:

    /* Look for Products and place them at the start of the array */
    if (array_key_exists('product', $sorted)) {
        $products_array['product'] = $sorted['product'];
        unset($sorted['product']);
        $sorted = array_merge($products_array, $sorted);
    }

    So that basically 1) checks if there are products on the search results, 2) stores them on a separate array, 3) removes them from the main array and finally 4) both get merged but with the products one at the start.

    Also place this around line 173 to avoid PHP undefined notices:

    $products_array = array();

    Cheers!
    Josue

    Hi!

    Thank you for using Enfold.

    Please add this in the Quick CSS field:

    .main_menu form#searchform {
      position: absolute;
      left: -300px;
      top: 10px;
    }

    Dear Kriesi,
    im using the tribulant newsletter plugin, but as you can see on this page: see links in message

    it’s the offsite list sign up the background on the pages body is blue. which makes all text almost unreadable.
    This page don’t have a page id, since i think it’s from a php file or custom css from tribulant.
    now i customized every option in tribulant and in enfold whit custom css.
    but it has no effect on the complete body of the page itself.

    altering the widget will have effect throughout the whole layout of the plugin.
    altering the body will affect all pages
    so this isn’t an option.

    im looking for a way to only customize that page, it looks like it’s a enfold setting but i can’t find a solution anywhere.
    im searching and working on this for 2 days now. hope you can give me a solution.

    Hi there. I’m using Enfold on a site that is primarily for ecommerce (using WooCommerce) but also has a blog. I’d like to have products display as the first section in the search results before posts and pages in the ajax search results. Is there a way to make that happen?

    Also, I noticed that for products on the search results page, it displays whether or not the product is a “simple” or “variable” product (from the WooCommerce taxonomy “product_type” along with the actual product category. And users can click through those links to view products. Is there a way to remove the “product_type” terms from the search results metadata?

    Thanks!
