You can use this plugin to translate the strings: https://wordpress.org/plugins/loco-translate/
Go to the Loco Translate panel, look for Enfold and then modify the language file. Search for the string “Share on”, translate, save then sync the language files.

i need to reduce the maximum number of characters in the search bar, but the script i pasted in functions.php file inside enfold-child is not working. Here what i have:

I’ve reached out to Yoast for a view on seo approach as current advice is to let the bots in but surely it cannot be beneficial to be indexing a ton of framework files and presenting them in search results. I note that googling one of the Enfold files that have been indexed on my site yields 65k results suggesting that, whether they know it or not, this effects a lot of people using this theme.
Still unsure of how to deal with it though and frankly a bit uncomfortable implementing “I have never actually used it before but I think” solutions for this as could have serious impact on serps.

YigitNew to wordpress. I hired someone to create my wedding photography – image heavy website site. Using Enfold/Enfold Child theme. My SEO company is complaining about the Google Page Insights score. Using Avia Layout Builder to create a masonry home page.
Did not originally use a CDN but switched to it hoping it would help. It did not. We got this same “ghost” image file before CDN and still after CDN.When I search for one of these files to compress and resize… it is not in my media library. i.e. 014_HOME-705×467.jpg

I am new to this forum. I’ve been using Enfold theme for a few month and I’m really amazed by all the possibilities! thank you for creating this!I am using S2member plugin to create a private access to my website along with Woocommerce plugin to sell products to members.
I would like to hide both Woocommerce cart icon and Enfold search icon in the Home plage (which is my landing page).You gave some close solutions somewhere else in the forum but my problem is that any change in Quick CSS and custom.css has no effect on my website… Do you have any idea why CSS changes do not work?

If you do not want the search to display in the menu then there is an option for removing it in Dashboard > Enfold > Header > Extra Elements.

I understand from reading around that I should not block resources from Google using robots.txt but I certainly don’t want these theme/framework pages appearing in search results.
How can I prevent it – using enfold plus yoast WPSEO.

Thanks. I tried that other solution, but it put the search box on both the mobile site AND on the desktop site. Are there any other simple solutions to get this resolved? Also, do you guys have any plans on adding this functionality directly into the theme as a standard setting turning mobile search on or off?
Having a search option on the mobile site seems like a must-have feature that should be standard in any responsive theme… especially one that is as flexible as Enfold. Please advise.

That seems to be the problem indeed!I just googled the code you sent me. It shows an image with another code – referrring to custom-fun-box.css/ver4.3
Another google search brought me to the WP Visual Slide Box Builder which I deactivated. Now the contact form shows the correct header.However, this plugin was packaged with the Enfold theme. Does that mean it isn’t compatible with Enfold after all? And, does that mean I cannot use the WP slider anymore?

I’m using the enfold accordion with links in a header menu. When I make the initial selection it works fine but if I go back up and make a second selection it does not jump to the right area.
Example on my site if I go to “research” at the top and select “kids” It goes to the link correctly and opens it. Now with that one open if I go back up into the menu and select research again and select general, nothing happens. I can see that the URL changes from toggle-id-14 to toggle-id-1 but it doesn’t actually open the accordion or reload the page.Hello, I’m designing a real estate website and I have to implement an advanced search box for the properties. It will be a very simple search based on 3 criterias only: city, type of property and price. I found a plugin with excellent reviews called “Search & Filter” that should do the job. http://www.designsandcode.com/wordpress-plugins/search-filter-pro/ However, my problem is with the styling of the results page. I have two related inquiries please.
First, the results page default template of the plugin is ugly and does not look anything like the Enfold theme, but the plugin documentation states that the plugin settings allows us to choose a regular template from our theme provided it conforms to WordPress standards and uses the Template Hierarchy. So my first inquiry is how can I use a template from Enfold theme to display the search results from the plugin. I noticed that there is a template button on top of the Avia page builder.
My second inquiry is, in the plugin documentation, it states that “Themes that do not respect the Template Hierarchy, or use custom queries within templates rather than using The Main Loop” can not use a custom template from the theme to display search results. It said that the ‘Avada’ theme for example “does not use the built in Template Hierarchy, and instead run their own custom queries within templates, which override the Search Results and are impossible to accommodate automatically”. So does Enfold support Template hierarchy or does it run its own custom queries within templates (however that means)?Dear Support
Im starting to build a site using Enfold. Im doing this with a colleague at work. I would like to load Enfold on an existing URL (that i have asked the search engines not to index) and also load it into another wordpress installation – again hidden so that me and my colleague can work on different things and get the site we want
Before i do this – can i use the theme twice in this way – or is that not allowed and do i need to buy another copy of the theme to legally do this
even when the site goes live i would like to keep the test site for developing things. I have some experience of using wordpress but im really a novice and i dont want to destroy the real site by making an error

Hello, I just bought the theme for a client, it’s really great. I’m designing a real estate brokerage website, and Enfold has everything I need to build it, except for one thing, a search function for the properties. By that I mean a search box with multiple cells where you would choose from a drop down menu the type of property, price range, location, etc, and press ‘search’, and only the properties that meet your criteria are displayed. Do you have any advice or recommendation on how to achieve that functionality, from within Enfold or through buying a plugin or widget? Thank you.

We don’t know how the plugin works but you can use this in the functions.php file to remove the theme’s filter:
