i cant understand, why Enfold go at all this way. What is the sence to give a logo an h1- tag or strong tag? Only user should determine, what is an h-tag and what is italic and what is strong. For SEO: h1-to h3 tags and strong tags are important factors to show google “oh, this is heavy weighted”. The same on footer with widget title: if user define contact or adress –> it’s h3 tag. But this is not good for SEO. What should think google algorithm about that? Is adress and contact also a weighted keyword?
You give all users the same useless seo-way on the one hand or the other way to manipulate php-code by hand. Is see so often “ok, manipulate this manually in css or php” Is this your solution for basics and your customer relationship? And after update, you must update code also. For 9 installations of enfold: Funny and extra work. No, i dont work with child themes.

And what does Kriesi? Kriesi gives all users his own way to the hand. The first H1-Tag is the entry title. Why? And now? I want to define my own h1-tag, ONE UNIQUE H1-Tag per page with my SEO-keywords and not one word as entry title and not before my definition of the h1 Tag. All of your users have the same funny stuff inside. At least: two h1 headings. “Nice and very good” for SEO, if you interpret Matts Cutts words.
You can check this by yourself. There are enough good free scanners to get a fast overview, what happens with your theme.

The H1 heading consists of only one word. There should be more information given.
The H1 heading is too short. (19 characters) It should be at least 20 Characters long.The search engines uses the heading tags for the keywords, but excessive use of heading tags can be flagged as SPAM. For best practice try not to use more than 30 heading tags in the webpage
____Ok, i have defined 29 headings. But from which source comes the other? Ohh. 1 from entry title – one word (really good for seo) and 4 from footer like “menu, contact, email, last post”
And this are reasons, why Enfold gives an visible impact in SEO to his users. Same with your Backlink in footer, which i must also manipulate per hand. User should determine, in which direction is the link-juice, not Kriesi.

Getting slightly annoyed on a sunny Sunday ;-)
Running the latest Woocommerce (2.6.2), WordPress (4.5.3) and Enfold (3.6.1).
And I have implemented the mensmaximus patch to fix the AJAX cart issue, where the -/+ buttons don’t update the cart.With the iDeal plugin installed and configured, the payment goes belly-up when going into the final iDeal steps:

Searching some other threads in this forum, I saw some moderators recommend the translation plugin GTranslate.
Unfortunately it doesn’t appear to be translating any of the text on my website (if logged into wordpress, the plugin will however successfully translate the backend.
Any ideas on what I need to configure this to work correctly in Enfold?

1- Please go to Enfold theme options > Header > Extra Elements and uncheck “Append search icon to main menu”
2- Please edit your page and choose not to display footer under layout section – http://i.imgur.com/cOEsjUl.png. If you would like to apply the changes globally, please go to Enfold theme options > Footer tab and choose not to display footer there.Regards,

wir haben seit einiger Zeit das Problem das sich quasi über Nacht in unserer Firmen Multisite Installation die Startseite ändert… Dies geschieht tatsächlich jeweils über Nacht…. Wir bringen das Problem mit Enfold in Verbindung da sich hier in den Theme Einstellungen das Problem auch wieder beheben lässt, jedoch leider nur für kurze Zeit.
Ich habe einen Screenshot angefügt um das Problem zu veranschaulichen. Wir erhalten gerade nahezu jeden Morgen die unerfreuliche Startseiten Ansicht “Die Registrierung wurde deaktiviert”.
- Content der Startseite fehlt
- Header und Footer sind da
- CSS Dateien werden geladen
Das Problem kann behoben werden in dem wir im wordpress Backend unter ENFOLD –> Enfold Child (DE) Optionen –> Frontpage Settings –> die Startseiten Auswahl abändern wieder zurückstellen und dann speichern –> wir leeren dann noch den Cache von Gator Cache –> Startseite wieder da……
Gibt es da bekannte Ursachen/ mögliche Zusammenhänge für das Problem?

This is my second Enfold site.
I’ve found help for many of my problems in your support forums and been able to customize my sites to a great extent thanks to you guys.
Great support!Now I have 3 problems:
1. Position of the search box
I need the search box to be aligned with the social icons in the header. Right now the search box doesn’t align
I also need the search box to be responsive so that it behaves correctly in mobile size also.2. The width of the search box
The search box should be the same width as the sidebar and scale with the sidebar i.e be responsive3. The search results stay open
If you type for example “kapua” in the search box it shows you the results but if you don’t click on anything it doesn’t close. You have to reload the page for it to close.The site:

the problem i think is in my child-theme. not certain why, but now i can edit and save in Enfold not using the child theme. if i move the few lines of css over to Enfold using the Quick CSS I think this will be fine. just to verify: Quick CSS is preserved when we update theme files?
For everyone else googling and finding this post: Try stripping the installation down to just Enfold, without a child theme, and see if you can save your edits. If so, the problem might be in your child theme files somewhere.
My plan is to try to finish the site using only the Quick CSS for the few tweaks I need to make. I’ll post back here with results, or further documentation of my problem if it persists. (Pretty sure this is a problem in my child theme files, though.)

I’ve installed Relevanssi Search I have applied the solution http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/use-relevanssi-in-search-instead-of-the-default-search/ …. the search using the search on the menu bar works great… but I get no results on the search page… not using the search sidebar widget..

Topic: Mobile Anchor Link Issue
Hi there,
We are just about to launch a new one scroll page website using Enfold and everything works great except for the anchor links on mobile. The anchors scroll past the designated anchor on the phone. We are not using the LayerSlider and there are no plugins being used to interfere with the script. We did a search in your forum for similar issues, but none of the solutions appear to work for this case.NOTE: If makes any difference, we are using the consulting demo layout and full screen slideshow. Hiding the slideshow didn’t make any difference, so don’t think that is the issue. Everything is updated and current. We have left the anchors inside the color sections the way the demo was originally developed.
Included is the website and credentials if you can take a look and let us know how to fix.

Hello, Enfold is a very good theme, but there´s a problem, we have some pages taged as no index and non follow with Yoast but sudenly when I search my company on Google appears the admin page with every webpages. Could you please tell me how can I delete username page? Thank u!

2.) Unfortunately, this is not possible. The query of the actual search results is different from the ajax search query.

I am afraid, you will have to add a css to the header, targeting the search page and making sure that the results there are clickable
is_search() can be used and then add the CSS class there to be default and not none.

In this case I need to set up the search icon and find the word and not the section.
What I need to do is specifically is in Key Staff. I had to use <!–nextpage–> because there are too many people in the section and when I type a name in the search of one of the key staff, the search takes me to the initial paragraph of the section ”Key Staff” and not to the “<!—nextpage–> section” I typed.For instance:
If you type “Carlos” which is 5th page break, the search suggests Staff and not goes directly to the name Carlos that is in Staff section but too far from the beginning.
Is there any way that the search starts looking among <!—nextpage—>?

I am using your enfold theme which is really great. And i have the events calendar pro and some more plugins from tribe inc.
They perform well together but there are some pages/view of the events calendar who does not show up in the page builder or as a page.One of them is the event overview, reachable by using the /events slug.
I am not sure whether to ask here or over at tribe inc. so:
Is it possible to get content on this page with using enfold theme?
I think of something like using the avai builder there to get some nice looking content above and beneath the search and result list from the calendar.Any hint will help

I am getting the following message: ERROR 502 – BAD GATEWAY when loading my site from wp-admin or the front end. It is happening intermittently for the last few days. I am using enfold and am on BlueHost hosting. This site is in development and I have been adding a lot of content to it during the past week.
Things I have done:
1. I have cleared my cache repeatedly.
2. I contacted Bluehost and they suggested didn’t see any problem but suggested I optimize my database by following these instructions at https://my.bluehost.com/hosting/help/000496 which I did.
3. WordPress, theme and all plugins are up to date.
4. I have searched on Google and in your forums and while I see references to error 502, nothing seems to be suggesting itself as a possible solution for my case.Could you take a look please? I have given login details in the private content.

I’m trying to create a custom class for an image container so it floats up above a widget box (sort of like the icon content box).

However I only want it applied to a specific custom CSS as noted inI set a custom class (float-icon-box) for the middle site search box on my homepage. Modified the Quick CSS, and it the image container doesn’t float up like it should.

AndyThat works however we are now live with the site and I cannot edit any pages, advanced editor just keeps spinning. I have searched several resolutions being updating the theme however I have the latest theme and have cleared my cache, etc. I tried deactivating all plugins as well as reactivating the enfold theme and WP.
PLEASE HELP since i need to edit several pages asap.

I’m having an odd issue. When I create a shortcode and place it in the page using the advanced editor, it appears right at the top of the rendered page, completely out of order. I have tried placing the shortcode in both a code block and a text block, but the result is the same.
I have tried the same code on a second Enfold website and I get the same result.
As I can’t find any search results to show others having this issue, I assume I’m doing something dumb!
I’m creating the shortcode in functions.php, for example:
function test_shortcode( ) { ?> <h2>My Shortcode</h2> <?php } add_shortcode( 'shortcode', 'test_shortcode' );Any advice very much appreciated. What little hair I have left is being pulled out!

Hello I have questions concerning 2 different issues..
1. Google Search Console Index Satus
While the Google Site Search shows about 70 results, the Google Search Console says that only 1 URL is indexed:

We use the Enfold Child Theme.
We created a category named “blog” which contains only the “real” blog posts.
If we set a specific page for the blog feature in the Enfold Theme Options, in the main navigation / mega menue the active posts (from other categories) are not highlighted but always the blog.
Our solution for the moment ist to not set a specific blog page in the options and to use our own blog page (Newsblog) in the main navigation. This results in when having a blog post opened, the “Newsblog” in the main navigation is not highlighted because there are different URLs now:
Blog overview page “Newsblog”: http://www.domain.at/newsblog
Single Blog post: http://www.domain.at/blog/post.htmlIs there a solution to use either a specific blog page in the settings or using our method and get the highlightning correctly?
