I pasted this code into a text widget and I tried it at the bottom of a post and both times it
did not display. I attached a screenshot of what it is supposed to look like. Is there something in Enfold that is blocking Amazon ads from displaying?

Okay, here is some information in case anyone searching something similar finds this thread.

I am now using Content Views Pro plugin. With it I am able to have a grid with infinite scroll/load more (see closed thread Victoria linked to) and put sharing buttons on each grid entry. It is customizable enough to cover most needs yet still seems simple and not intimidating. It can handle custom fields in grid entries so I made a custom field using ACF and put the shortcode for the enfold sharing icons into that field and it displays nicely on each grid entry and is then consistent with all other Enfold pages.

And very importantly… It also easily allows one to create views which replace archive, author, single post etc pages. Most of the plugins and Enfold’s own grid elements, require one to edit php templates to make all those pages a consistent design. So for example, it is easy to make the category archive pages the same grid layout as the main blog grid.

This is the first website I have built using the Content Views Pro plugin, so I cannot comment on stability and long term viability, but I am pleased to have found it and so far it is working very well. Seems about ideal for a competent non-coder like myself.

Hosting on our server is not an option because we need Vimeos CDN for worldwide delivery. I think it’s a bug within the theme. As you said, the link is working. I think the Enfold theme is searching for the iFrame version because the word “vimeo” is in the URL. Is there a chance that you can fix that in future versions?

There was still a problem with the search icon not showing but I have now got this working (I think and hope…) and am posting the final CSS so that anyone else who wants to do this might have an easier job implementing it than me. You’ll still probably have to tweak it but hopefully it will get you on your way. :-)

I do have to say that the new burger menu is a nightmare to customise and a change to Enfold > Main Menu to allow user selection of when tablets and smartphones switch to the mobile menu, especially given the multitude of devices available these days, is now urgently needed in the theme.

Notes:
Change all references to 1150px to whatever screen width you want the burger menu to appear from above 990px.
My normal desktop header is 116px high – responsive mode changes the header height & various paddings to all sorts of different values depending on the screen width – some consistency in the code would be good… ;-)
Enfold > Burger/Mobile Menu Styling is set to #000000.
The responsive search icon is 24px below 990px but this has to be specified between 1150px and 990px in custom CSS.
This next line of custom CSS, quoted in a support answer elsewhere on a similar topic to this, is not needed and stops the search icon displaying –

Thanks, but you have to click “Check API key”, THEN you get a message about Mail Chimp, which I have seen another user report.

“Could not connect to Mailchimp with this API Key. Please try again with a different key.
You might also want to check your internet connection and make sure that mailchimp.com is available”

That has nothing to do with a bad API key or incomplete configuration in Google Search Console (because you’d get an error message regarding your GOOGLE api key. According to Yigit replying to a different user, Enfold’s update feature did not do it’s job properly.

I’ve asked an extremely experienced developer who has done a ton of work for my employer, and he says it’s bad CSS. He even checked to make sure everything was good inside the search console.

Honestly it just seems like 4.1 has a lot of bugs. This is likely my 10th Enfold build and it has been by far the most problematic. I see a lot of other users reporting a host of very random problems.

Please help!

I didn’t have this until the 26th of June. Something happened back then.. I am not sure when I installed the latest Enfold update, but can you see why Google is telling me about these issues?

3. the hamburger menu is located on the right. One Click on it and the menu opens right sided.
How can i position the icon on the left side? And how can i achieve that the menu opens left sided too?

Sorry, that there are so many questions, but i want to use only Enfold which is – for me – state of the art.

When I create the new menu, do I need to name it? Remember, I’m not a coder so reading the above might as well be Latin… :)

This is a less than ideal scenario because now I will have two main menus to maintain, both identical except one without thumbnails and one with. The old version of Enfold handled this great with zero need for a separate mobile menu. I am curious why this mobile menu was changed — it has caused several (many?) users lots of customization issues, and I don’t see any added functionality or ease. (I had the search box on my old menu with your code). I am not trying to be difficult, just trying to understand why a major change was made to the menu structure and we don’t see huge changes from the user experience side.

Is there any other way to do this so mobile menu will just hide those thumbnails? Can you guys make css class work on the thumbnails? It seems like this could be a bug as only_desktop css class should hide them but it does not?
