First off, A-M-A-Z-I-N-G theme… easily the best theme I’ve ever used, and I’ve used quite a few in my time!
Just about to launch a new site using Enfold and thought I should obviously check it in IE8 before I push the button…. number of issues I could do with some guidance on if poss (I HATE having to discuss IE):
1. Site width – I’m trying to use the 1210px wide layout, but IE8 refuses to play ball… keeps showing the narrower version and, rather frustratingly, the logo/partner element gets compressed together and ends up distorted. Even if I change to 1030px layout the partner logos mess up – can’t see this element in your demo site to see if the same occurs….
2. Logo issue – I tried this fix https://kriesi.at/support/topic/logo-issue-with-ie8-and-new-update/ but it didn’t work – maybe I did something wrong? Not sure what I’m doing wrong, but when you scroll down the page the logo doesn’t resize.
3. Icon backgrounds – they appear square, rather than round. I see this occurs on your demo site too – no fix for this I presume? Not the end of the world, but I thought I’d ask!I can supply a preview link (privately) if need be – any help would be greatly appreciated…. and keep up the good work!!

I want to delete ‘all’ sort button in sortable masonry portfolio.
So. portfolio items not show all but show first category and sort.not. all / cat1 / cat2 / cat3
but cat1/ cat2 / cat3

Hi guys, I have some custom javascript code that I want to execute upon pressing the ‘Submit’ button within a Contact Form content element. Or a button within any element with a button, for that matter, if there is a standard approach to do this. Using Enfold 2.4.2 and child theme, WP 3.7.1.
Could you recommend the best way?

I see many example pages of what your Short Code output is but I can’t find a list of the actual shortcodes anywhere. Shouldn’t this be in the documentation? I am trying to add shortcodes into the LayerSlider for buttons.. but it doesn’t seem to be working.Also, when I am in a text editor, and click on the wizard icon, I only see 3 options:
why is this?Finally, When I choose “Default” editor after using “Visual Editor” the edit box is blank. Shouldn’t I see the shortcode list of output? Or is your theme limited?

I should have asked this with the last question but How do you change the size of the font in header? Like if I wanted Home or any of those Menu buttons to be bigger. I see I can change font type and color in styling. Thanks again for all you guys help. Enfold is by far the best purchase I’ve made involving wordpress!

.slideshow_align_caption { padding-right: 30px; }It will add 30px of padding to right of the caption so it should not conflict with next button

Two quick questions, sorry if they’ve been answered already, but really couldn’t find ‘m elsewhere in the forum.
1. In the fullscreen slider I can choose between multiple caption positions. When I pick “right framed” the caption is on the far right and conflicts with the ‘next button’. Also, I want the box to be lower (like the “bottom framed” position) but then on the left.
Can I change the position of the caption manually in the fullscreen slider to create a “bottom framed right” position?2. Related to this, can I recreate the fullscreen slider in “advanced layer slider” so I have more options for captions and image styles? I can’t seem to figure out what settings to use for a custom slider to recreate how the fullscreen slider always uses the full height of the browser window.

Two questions about our Enfold Woocommerce webshop:
First, we have created a ‘continue shopping’ button in the webshop. This shows on the cart page, but when the cart is empty, another ‘back to store’ button appears. Is it possible to deactivate this button or program our own button to not show when cart is empty?Second, our webshop has a lot of categories and subcategories. Behind every category title, the shop shows the amount of products in it, between brackets. Is there a way to remove these numbers?

The gallery itself does not support share buttons out of the box and you would need to hire someone to implement these buttons. However the lightbox we use (PrettyPhoto) supports a twitter and a facebook like button. You can activate these buttons by editing a line in enfold/js/avia.js – open up the file and replace

Thank you for helping me.
I did as you suggested and the logo disappeared.But – then I shared my website privately on +1 just to test the share button – and the enfold logo popped up side by side with the link.
I can always add a little image of some sort to the logo field if this makes the shared links nicer. But – if you have any thoughts about why the enfold logo popped up and how I can remove it, I am listening..Hello there,

I have a GAs set on our website, however, I would like to track a conversion from our contact forms i.e. if someone clicks on “Send” button, the web either redirect to some specific page (now it calls ajax confirmation), or the “Send” button itself will somehow call an event in GAs.
Do you have any suggestion/best practice, before I start with some hardcore-hardcoding :D?Thanks in advance!

Changes are done. Please review your website. You can find custom CSS code i added in Quick CSS section in Enfold theme options. If you would like to change the size of the button on your first slide, please add following code to Quick CSS as well and adjust it

Interesting, because I did not remove any of the code within the theme provided shortcodes.js.I also have the question about not scrolling to the top of the page (or top of the section containing the tabs) if possible. EDIT>while next tab does open at the top of its content (good), it cuts off the very top of the tab content area. Is there a way to add some padding to the top of the tab bookmark so it shows the full top tab?

I’ve just had a play and found that you can add HTML within the Enfold site design/structure.
I’ve made a new page and used the Default Editor (not the Advanced Layout Editor).
Select the ‘Text’ tab at the top right of the editing window (not ‘Visual’).
Write your HTML directly into this area.
Select all of your code and define it as ‘code’ in the button bar – or just start the code with
<code>and finish with</code>.Seems to work fine.

Topic: Sliders are a problem!
Although I was enthusiastic of the theme when I purchased it and I still find it fantastic, I’m having lots of trouble with the sliders. All of them! I made no change to original theme’s file but still I can’t understand what’s wrong ! On ThemeForest site the demo was ok but not on my site.
In order:
– EASY SLIDER: is the only one that works UNTIL the 2nd slide. Starting from 3rd slide nothing happens independently if you loaded 4,5,6 …images, besides, even if the autorotation is set as active, it remains on the 2nd slide and does not change even if you click on right/left arrows or on small round navigation buttons !
– FULLWIDTH SLIDER: this is even worse as doesn’t work at all! no images, no autorotation, no manual click back and forth! for the image I can only see a question mark and that’s all !
– ADVANCED LAYERSLIDER: same as the FULLWIDTH SLIDER
It’s about 2 weeks I’m running around this matter and watched lots of tutorials, read posts and looked for any useful hint to solve this issue but… now I feel really very frustrated as I can’t come out of this and I need to!
So I wonder also if instead of the above SLIDER solutions I could use another one that might work and giving not problems.
I’m aware the support is given on a voluntary basis and I can’t expect any ‘miracle’ but still hope for a solution!
I’m working on Enfold v.1.3.1 using the Dummy theme and already created the site structure (pages, menu ecc) and not wishing to restart the done work by installing an update that overwrites my previous work, I want and need to avoid it !!!
Thank you for your attention and, hopefully, help to solve this issue and to continue spreading the enthusiasm on this fantastic WP theme… if I can come out of this :)
