  • Hi DROR!

    Thank you for using Enfold.

    By default, there should be a 0.3em gap between them. You can use this to adjust the gap:

    .avia-button .avia_button_icon.avia_button_icon_right {
    left: 1em;
    }

    Ismael

    I put together the site at http://mttanzania.com/ with Enfold. The client loves it but pointed out today that one of the front page images has rounded corners, while the others are all square. He’d like them all square. I can’t see how that image (over the Services button) is getting the rounded corners. The original image in the media library doesn’t have rounded corners, and the first image (over the Machines button) has square corners. It’s not a styling issue, as both images have ‘default’ selected for styling.

    How do I get rid of the rounded corners on the Services image?

    Thanks,
    JC

    Hi Ismael,
    Sorry, but I try hard and do not achieve that this works.
    I put in functions.php the “ga-track” code exactly in the way you indicate and modified like that:

    function add_custom_script(){
    ?>
    <script>
    jQuery(window).load(function(){
    jQuery(“.ga-track a”).attr(“onclick”,”_gaq.push([‘_trackEvent’, ‘Clics’, ‘BtnPlanBase’, ‘/Consulta_Plan_Base.html’]”);
    });
    </script>
    <?php
    }
    add_action(‘wp_footer’, ‘add_custom_script’);

    I define a custom CSS class on my button with name “BtnPlanBase”
    And last I define the event in google analytics. Try this in a basic html page, without enfold and track very well.

    Hi,

    I’ve been stuck for three hours on this now. I try to build a simple page. I’ve added a slider then a second one, and some dummy text, that’s all.
    First I added the slider and it showed up. Then the text and it wouldn’t show up. Then more text then another slider..I tried on different browsers. And whatever change I do, they won’t show on the page. Worse, I have deleted a slider, refresh everything (browser, cookies etc) log into wordpress again, go on the page, I can see only one slider as desired. I add some text and push the preview button, the 2nd slider is back but not my text and in the backend I only have one slider that is set up. It’s a nightmare.

    I have checked everything, I have no cache plugin, my host is in development mode etc.

    How can I develop my site?? Can you have a look? I don’t know what to do next…

    //*UPDATE

    It comes from the theme. The fact is : it’s not the change aren’t made, it’s the preview mode that doesn’t work with this version of Enfold. It keeps the last change in “memory”. Whenever I switch to a different theme, the changes are taken into account. So there is a problem with Enfold and preview mode in wordpress.
    There is no “cache problem” I think because if I update the page and push the button “view page” instead of “preview page” , the page shown is updated. But I can’t preview. I can only update my changes an view. That is not convenient at all and that’s a problem for when I give the site to the client.
    Please can you help?

    —– PLEASE can you help? I cannot develop the website ! I have deleted everything (wordpress, database, ..)and started back from scratch. When I use 2014 theme on a live environment no problem, if I make a change I can see it in preview mode right away! But with Enfold it keeps in memory my first change and won’t accept another.
    The preview mode clearly doesn’t work with enfold only, I have tried with different themes and it’s fine. I’ve also tried on different browser, on a pc and on a mac.I don’t know what to do next.
    Please Help.

    _____ I found that and it’s the same except this problem was happening one year ago ! https://kriesi.at/support/topic/preview-page-function-does-not-work/
    Will you find a fix please??

    Kind regards

    Topic: A Bug during Checkout

    in forum Enfold
    bakbek

    Hi, I have a very annoying bug that occurs during checkout of free products. After the place order button is clicked the page just keeps loading forever and it doesn’t redirect to the order summery page. The order does show up under the WooCommerce orders but no emails are being sent (not to the admin and not to the customer).

    I asked WP Engine to see if thy can find the reason and here is what they found:

    When that checkout page is submitted, a request to admin-ajax.php is made and that request is showing a 500 error, so the checkout does not submit correctly. Here is one of those errors on the log:

    05/Oct/2014:16:00:59 +0000|v1|127.0.0.1|polytown.co.il |500|20|127.0.0.1:6788|1.493|1.493|POST /wp-admin/admin-ajax.php?action=woocommerce_checkout HTTP/1.0

    I did some digging into the error logs, and it appears to be caused by this error:

    [Sun Oct 05 16:00:59 2014] [error] [client 66.162.212.19] PHP Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ';' in /nas/wp/www/cluster-2147/polytowncoil/wp-content/themes/enfold/woocommerce/emails/customer-completed-order.php on line 55, referer: https://polytown.co.il/checkout/

    Each time that that 500 error showed up on the access logs, there was a corresponding error syntax error, so I am fairly sure this is the case.

    I would recommend reaching out to the theme developer, or working to update that theme if at all possible.

    I also contacted Woothemes support and this is what they said:

    The problem that you’re having might be related to your theme. Did you recently update WooCommerce? I see that the Enfold theme does not declare compatibility for WooCommerce 2.2 yet (http://cld.wthms.co/VghZ ). Can you please try placing an order with free products in a default WordPress theme, such as Twenty Twelve? If the problem does not occur, then you’ll have to contact the support folks at Kriesi: https://kriesi.at/support/?envato_item_id=4519990

    Can you look into this issue and see if you can find the solution?

    Hi farrdesign79!

    Please add following code to Quick CSS in Enfold theme options under General Styling tab

    .avia_cart_buttons { opacity: 1; }
    .inner_product_header h3 { color: black!important; }

    Hello,
    First want to say love the enfold theme.

    When I have a post with an apostrophe in it, it gets displayed on the site fine in the post, but if I click Share on Twitter, or Share on Pinterest with the default sharing buttons at the bottom of the post it converts the apostrophe (single tick) character to: ’

    I have typed it directly into WordPress. Not a Copy/Paste situation.

    So the post title:
    The Cougel’s back (with a whole new flavor)
    becomes in the share box after the link is clicked….
    The Cougel’s back (with a whole new flavor)

    Any ideas how to fix this? Thanks,

    Hi,

    Please can you help? I just updated the theme on my staging site. Now I have various layout problems on the staging site, as the following has changed:

    1) ‘home’, and all other pages: the company logo in the header is different size now, there is no longer a white margin
    2) ‘services’ page: the images of the services are displayed in smaller boxes
    3) ‘press page’: magnifying glass images all moved position
    4) ‘blog’ page: share buttons missing

    Can this be fixed? Many thanks.

    Best wishes,

    Neil

    In reply to: Colour in the Header

    Hey!

    Hiermit bekommst du den Strich unter den Menü-Buttons dicker:

    .avia-menu-fx {
    height: 5px !important;
    }

    Es fällt mir etwas schwer genau zu verstehen was du meinst. Gut wäre eine Skizze (jpeg), die du z.B. über Dropbox hochlädst, damit ich mir deine Vorstellungen vor Augen führen kann.

    Falls du den Logo Bereich meinst, den du weiß haben möchtest, kannst du dies unter “Enfold->General Styling->Logo Area background color” tun. Aber ich schätze mal du meinst etwas anderes und ich denke um etwas wie ein Trapez oder ähnliches zu machen, müsstest du einen Freelancer beauftragen.

    Gruß,
    Andy

    In reply to: Colour in the Header

    Hey!

    Ich kann keinerlei blaue Farbe sehen und dein Header scheint einen weißen Hintergrund zu haben. Konntest du das bereits fixen?

    Wenn du ein Hintergrundbild im Logobereich haben möchtest, kannst du eins hochladen in deinem WordPress backend in Enfold->General Styling->runterscrollen zu “Background image” und “upload custom image” auswählen.

    Wenn ich über einen Button gehe, kann ich keinen Strich sehen. Meinst du vielleicht den Abstand zwischen den nebeneinander liegenden Buttons, den du erhöhen möchtest? Falls ja, füge diesen Code ins Quick CSS ein:

    .menu-hover-style-4 .main-navigation-ul>li.menu-item>a.menu-item-link
    {
    margin-left: 10px;
    }

    Für “10px” kannst du eine beliebige Zahl einsetzen.

    Gruß,
    Andy

    I have just updated to v3.0 (great release!) to see if this issue would be resolved, but unfortunately it is not.

    I have installed the PayPal for WooCommerce plugin and when I activate the PayPal express checkout, the PayPal button overwrites the checkout button on the cart page. If you turn off the PayPal check out button on the cart page, it does not show the Enfold checkout button either.

    Does anybody else have this problem (and a solution?) do they have the same id / style name ???

    Thank you

    Hey Tom!

    Thank you for using Enfold.

    You can modify the content slider button with this:

    #top .avia-smallarrow-slider .avia-slideshow-arrows {
    width: 100%;
    }

    a.prev-slide {
    left: 0;
    }

    Nevermind, after I hit the save button in enfold theme settings it started displaying fine.

    Wordpress 4.0 and Enfold 3.0 – when writing on a button with these signs : ” >> ” or “<< ” at the end – the button changes colour as its likes and writes funny &%/# signs and links do not work anymore. Back end looks fine but front end is messed up – when removing these signs it works again.

    Hello,

    I’m very happy with Enfold v3.0.

    I would like to know how to change the colour for a button in the main menu (for the border or the button itself).
    I’m probably missing something but I don’t see an option for modification, and I end up with the theme colour only.

    I can I change that ?

    Thanks a lot

    Hi!

    Once you set the Blog Style to “Use the advance layout builder” option, you’ll be able to edit the blog page using the Advance Layout Builder. Set the blog style then edit the page. Add the Blog Posts element, because… blog page should have at least “blog posts” in it I guess. You can then add additional elements such as sliders, buttons etc. You can also use the Masonry element to showcase your posts. It will not affect the single posts pages. For that, you can toggle Enfold > Blog Layout > Single Post Style.

    In case you have questions, please take some time to review all of the resources in the Theme Documentation as a lot of basic stuff like theme installation, css snippets etc are already available in there with better explanation and awesomeness. Watch some of our Video Tutorials to learn more about the different aspect of the theme. You can also search the forums for queries that has been answered before that might be related to your problem.

    If you still have any questions, don’t hesitate to let us know and we will be happy to assist you. If you have any requests or you feel like giving us a warm hug? You can definitely post it on our Feature Requests page. :)
    Thanks!

    Hi ShortieD!

    Thank you for using Enfold.

    Please add this on Quick CSS or custom.css to change the size of the caption title:

    @media only screen and (max-width: 767px) {
    .responsive #top .slideshow_caption h2 {
    font-size: 15px !important;
    }

    .avia_transform .av_slideshow_full.avia-fade-slider .active-slide .avia-caption-content, .avia_transform .av_fullscreen.avia-fade-slider .active-slide .avia-caption-content {
    font-size: 12px;
    line-height: 18px;
    }

    #top .avia-slideshow-button {
    font-size: 12px;
    margin-top: 5px;
    padding: 6px 8px !important;
    }
    }

    You can also hide it on mobile device, apply the display: none property.

    Regards,
    Ismael

    Topic: Main Nav & Sub Nav

    in forum Enfold

    Hello Enfold crew! I had kind of an odd question for you. Is it possible to have a main nav button that doesn’t actually link to anything, but still has a drop down sub nav menu that do link to pages?

    For example: If I have a “button” within my main nav named EVENTS that has a drop down sub menu with more specific words such as WEDDINGS, CORPORATE EVENTS and PRIVATE EVENTS. I don’t want the word “EVENTS” in my main nav to link to anything, just the words that are in the sub nav in the drop down menu. Does that make sense? Is that possible to do in Enfold?

    Can I make Login and Register radio buttons bigger?

    I’m using Enfold 3 and Exchange and these Login and Register buttons are too small. These 2 buttons appear in 2 ways, a tiny radio button and a nice big square button.

    http://anythingbroken.com/product/peace-at-home-advantage-3-month-1-hour/

    I want them either to be bigger or look like rectangle enfold buttons shown in other pages.

    Thanks!

    In reply to: Social Sharing Buttons

    Hey!

    The blog displays all your blog posts and should not technically contain a sharing buttons.

    If you would like to add sharing buttons at the end of the page add the following code at the end of loop-index.php in wp-content/themes/enfold/includes

        //share links on single post
        avia_social_share_links();

    Nevertheless be advised that changes made to core framework files are overwritten during theme updates.

    In reply to: Form Lightbox

    Hey tlodo543!

    Thank you for using Enfold.

    It sounds like you might be having an issue with a third party plugin or script. Regretfully, we cannot provide support for third party plugins or scripts as stated on our support policy due to the fact that there is simply no way to account for all of the potential variables at play when using another developer’s plugin or script. Because of this, any questions you have regarding setup, integration, or troubleshooting any piece of functionality that is not included on the theme package will need to be directed to the plugin author. If you want to open inline content on a lightbox, you can refer to this link: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/contact-form-in-pop-up-prettyphoto-issue/

    Or you can apply the button theme style on the text or button generated by the Form Lightbox shortcode. Please give us a link to the actual page where you’re testing this.

    Cheers!

    Yes, the menu is set as Enfold Main Menu on Appearance > Menus panel. The underline is only broken on the links I hacked aka the “Log in / Register” button where I used the code from https://kriesi.at/support/topic/woocommerce-account-loginlogout-not-wp-account/?login_error

    For instance, try doing this to duplicate what I’m seeing:
    1. Click “Log in / Register.”
    2. When the page loads, you’ll note that the blue underline is missing under “Log in / Register.”
    3. Click “Browse meals.”
    4. When the page loads, you’ll note that there is a blue underline under “Browse meals.” This is my desired behavior for all menu items.

    Hope that helps clarify the problem. Appreciate the help!

    #329380

    I’m not able to log in to your site but take a look at this video: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/portfolio-item/intro-to-the-advanced-layout-editor/

    It looks like the default comment output might have been removed at some point so for the short term you’ll need to switch to the Avia Layout Builder by clicking on the Advanced Layout Builder button on that page. Then go to the Content Elements tab and drag the Comments element down below your text element to add it to the page layout.
