Hello there,
How do I add a downloadable pdf to a private page on my site, with a ‘download’ button?
Still in love with Enfold.
Thank you!
Hello,
Basically, our desire is to be able to easily add/edit the title (and alt) attributes to images with a minimum amount of effort.
Ideally we would like to edit these properties on all images only once in the WP Media Library and see them reflected on all pages.
This seems to work well when adding images as Image Elements in the layout builder. Title and alt texts are picked up from the image in the media library.
However, when adding an image by the “Add Media” button inside of a text block, I have found that the image is disconnected from the media library and no longer reflects image and alt texts from the library. Alt text is copied, but I have to manually add the title text to the field “Image title attribute” under the Advanced options section when editing the image details. For some reason this field does not populate automatically with the title text from the media library.1. Am I right in thinking that images added through “Add Media” inside a text block become disconnected, i.e. the image title in the library is now overriden by whatever is in the field “Image title attribute” of this particular image instance in this particular text block?
2. When adding the image to the text block with “Add Media”, the add media popup is displayed, together with an image details pane to the right. Here the title and alt texts from the library are displayed. However the title text is not inserted to “Image title attribute” under advanced options when accepting the dialog. Is this a bug or working as intended? Is it possible to make it auto insert?
3. Do you know any better way to make all images, regardless if they are inserted into a text block or not, always reflect the title and alt texts from the WP Media Library?
We are relatively new to WP and Enfold and find the title text handling confusing. Ideally we want to make the process of adding image title texts to (many) inserted images as clear and straightforward as possible to our customer. At the moment the process seems quite convoluted and non-uniform unless I’m missing something.

MattiasHi there,
I’ve upgraded to the latest version of Enfold yesterday and since that I have additional information generated by the purchase button, that I really don’t need.
See screenshot here (please find link to product of screenshot in private content)[What is the situation]
Purchase button of Enfold in Avia Layout Builder adds too much information, for which I have built a (unsexy) plugin (the information above.[What should be]
I would like the information to be omitted inside the purchase button. The price should stay there (only once of course), the rest shouldn’t.[What did I try]
I tried deactivating some plugins, I thought that could have done the trick (which they didn’t) and also getting back to an older version of Enfold somehow did not work properly. I tried to edit the “product_snippet_button.php” with no real changes and also I searched in the config-WooCommerce folder of Enfold to find something (I didn’t).Please find FTP Account in private content.
I’d be very happy if you could provide me with a solution here :)
Thanks,
PatrickHello,
I updated https://www.jilko.be to Enfold 4.2.6 and now we have some layout issues. It seems that /wp-content/themes/enfold/css/shortcodes.css is a smaller file than it was before. So either the statements (like button etc) have been moved (but then why is this not loaded?) or have been simply deleted by error into the newest theme update…
Version 4.2 on the left & version 4.2.6 on the right => https://www.diffchecker.com/CvlYQTb1
Thanks for checking!
Best regards,
JurgenHi there can you please tell me if I am doing something wrong? – the Calendar does not show when I import the demo for the hotel.
Please see URL.
This – https://kriesi.at/themes/enfold-hotel/product/one-bedroom-suite/ does not display
Should I install another Booking plugin or am I missing something?UPDATE: I AM RESTORING THE SITE–
I think I did something wrong when updating.
I had to update wordpress and enfold theme to make them current. With that came some issues.
I updated enfold using the file manager. I deleted the original and uploaded the newest one now lost a lot of styling. I lost button formatting and icons. I lost formatting for my menu page, etc.

I’ve encountered a strange issue where all of my posts are nolonger able to be edited or viewed from the WordPress backend. I have updated to all the latest updates of WordPress and Enfold, and was last able to post a blog post last week without issue. However, after updating to 4.2.6, Posts show ‘broken’ elements on the Post page, and the paste url bar is shown at the bottom of the page (examples link in private).
Note that existing posts are displayed just fine on the front-end of the website. But I can nolonger add a new blog post. Clicking on any of the buttons or tabs on the Post page such as Advanced Layout Builder, Visual or Text (HTML) tabs result in nothing happening. My content is blank.
Pages and other sections of the WP backend seem to just try to load forever but don’t timeout.
I’ve tried different browsers, disabling all plugins, purging caches, and nothing helps resolve any of these issues.I’ve switched to a different theme and posts DO work with them, so the issue seems to be within Enfold itself. I also tired to revert to an older version of Enfold – 4.2.2 but the same problem persists.
Can someone offer any assistance please?Hi, today I finally started to update my websites to 4.2.6, being extremely careful after all these reported issues that the last versions were obviously causing (I stayed on 4.2.3 until today but needed the Instagram widget to work on some sites). I updated via FTP deleting the previous Enfold folder. On each single website I updated today I stumbled into different problems, but I could solve them all as they seemed to be caching issues or whatever. However the most difficult update of Enfold in a long time. Never mind ;-).
One thing I couldn’t solve: the datepicker in the contact form does not accept the individual theme color setting anymore but now seems to be what I would call the Enfold standard theme, which means green buttons instead of the the theme color. I assume something went wrong in an updated file that is calling the colors of the datepicker? Any idea how to fix this? Oh and yes, of course I disabled all plugins to check if one of them is causing the issue, they are not, not even WP Rocket. Example page in private content.
Thanks a lot for your help, cheers!
