    BUT, when I try to check that it is there ( https://continentalconstructionmanagement.com/robots.txt ) it shows this:

    User-Agent: *
    Disallow:

    I looked at the file with FTP, it is there and has everything we want in it, and it’s in the ‘root’ directory:
    https://visualimpactsystems.com/CCM-RootScreenshot-RobotsFile.jpg

    We also ‘submitted’ it in the Google Seach Console.

    Any ideas why it is not showing up/working? (Google has already indexed some of the pages we disallowed in the robots file).

    Hey lacasadelaswebs,

    Thank you for using Enfold.

    Please refer to the following link for a possible fix.

    Hey Hirudika,

    1. Please enable custom CSS class name support for ALB elements.
    2. Add a unique class name to the buttons “stick-to-bottom”
    3. Please try adding this code to the Quick CSS section under Enfold > General Styling or to your child theme’s style.css file:
    4. If necessary add padding from the element layout options.

    .stick-to-bottom {
        display: block;
        text-align: center;
        clear: both;
        position: absolute;
        bottom: 0;
        left: 50%;
        transform: translateX(-50%);

    Best regards,
    Vinay

    Hi,

    turns out I was wrong after all. It was indeed the product_snippet_button that has been changed recently in an Enfold update. I now uploaded an older version of the file that fixed the problem.

    I have to admit, that the support was better at some point. The CSS “solution” broke more than it helped (i.e. bookings were made non-usable). Furthermore the PHP-thing should be in your hands, as you are responsible for the Enfold theme.

    So my last question now to this topic – and I hope, that you can help me with that – how can I stop the file to be updated? I use a child-theme and created the directory “/enfold-child/config-templatebuilder/avia-shortcodes/” and put the older version of the product_snippet_button.php in there, but apparently when the newer version is reinstalled in the enfold main directory the changes are visible. How should the path in the child-theme be, so that only the older version (in the enfold-child directory) is active?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hey KingFilly,

    To center align 2 or more buttons please check the alignment section of the button element.

    To have a custom hover effect please try adding this code to the Quick CSS section under Enfold > General Styling or to your child theme’s style.css file:

    #top .avia-button:hover {
         background-color: #163147;!important
         color: #ffffff;!important
    }

    To target specific button please enable custom CSS class name support.

    Vinay

    Hey everybody!
    At first many thanks for the outstanding work: set up Enfold for clients more than 5times! Great!
    We are using for an client The Events Calendar Version 4.6.13 and Enfold Version 4.2.2. Because Enfold will be overwrite the styles from the events calendar the prev/next buttons in the single event screen will not shown. When disabling this overwriting function in Enfold the buttons will be shown: but I’ve no time to styling all objects manually in the event calendar in the same way as taken in Enfold. Any suggestions for fixing this will be fine!
    many thanks to all
    Frank

    Und da mein Englisch nicht perfekt ist: hier die Frage auf Deutsch. Das aktuelle Enfold überschreibt die styles des installierten Events Calendars. Klappt alles, aber in der single view der Events werden die previous/next Buttons nicht angezeigt. Wenn ich die Funktion des Überschreibens in Enfold auskommentiere, werden die Buttons eingeblendet. Natürlich mit den styles aus dem Events Calendar, aber mir fehlt echt die Zeit, diese manuell auf das ausgewählte Theme in Enfold anzupassen.

    Hi Victoria,

    Sorry for the incovenience I deactivated the debug mode.
    The problem was not about how to hide the warnings though, I have the warning only when I use the last version of Enfold (it worked with the previous ones). And it replaces the “add to cart” button with “learn more” (“en savoir plus” in french on the website).
    It works fine with basic themes like the twenty**** ones on basic wordpress installation.

    Do you know what could be the issue and if the next update will resolve this ? It’s very problematic…
    By the way, we already tried the deactiate the plugins.

    Thanks in advance.

    Thibault

    Thanks for reminding me about header.php. I’ve removed that from the child theme, so yes, the fresh version of header.php would have been included when I updated the theme to version 4.2.6. I’m not sure I get the rest of your answer, as it leaves my high and dry with the same issue.

    Yep, I appreciate that Kriesi introduced this functionality in version 4.2.4 but to say the “loaded styles is supposed to remain the same” doesn’t help me much and I hope you can hang in there and give me some more techy help :)). The functionality introduced negates the button style that I introduced in the child theme and so it leaves me uncertain as to how much I can depend on the styles that I specify in my child theme. As a developer, I’m not keen on uncertainty.

    For example, compare the CONTACT US button on the Home page on the staging site crhlaw.staging.wpengine.com
    compared to the live site at crhlaw.com.au. Button is near the bottom of the page. The staging site is using the newest Enfold version. On the live site I specified a 30px border-radius for any ‘body div .avia-button’ elements. All works fine and I placed that CSS in the style.css of the child theme. If you compare it to the staging site, that 30px border-radius is then overwritten by the 3px in the avia-merged-styles stylesheet. Okay, I know I can slap !important at the end of my style but that’s messy. I know I can fiddle around and get my stylesheet to load after avia-merged-style but that too is messy. Plus that may be an okay fix for one website, but imagine if I’d rolled out that style out to a hundred sites?

    Am I totally missing the point of a child theme? Isn’t it the place where I can define how I would like my website to look, and then be able to rely on it looking that way in future? Happy to rethink how I do this if you can offer some advice.

    Hope you can consider the impact of avia-merged-styles and come back with more information.

    Many thanks for your time.

    Hello,

    Since a few hours ago I keep getting one of these errors every time I start loading a page to edit:
    Failed to load plugin url: https://www.connix.nl/wp-content/themes/enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-template-builder/assets/js/avia-tinymce-buttons-4.js
    Failed to load plugin url: https://www.connix.nl/wp-content/themes/enfold/config-layerslider/LayerSlider/static/admin/js/ls-admin-tinymce.js

    The page editor was loading very slow before, and today it stopped working at all.
    I have tries a clean enfold install and disabling all plugins as others suggested, but this did not work.
    The files names in the error I replaced with those of a new install download, sadly this did not change anything.

    Do you have any suggestions?

    Thanks,
    Tjeu

    Hello,

    I purchased the Enfold theme and ran into some problems with the installation. I wanted to ask my questions at the support forum and tried to create an account. Using my purchase code:e666a094-7c68-4fb0-b5e0-a7022e5cbe5e and my email address: (Email address hidden if logged out) when I hit the send button I saw there was a typo in the email address, but the request for an account for the support blog was already send. I wanted to create a new account but the system says my purchase code is already linked. (to the emailaddress with the typo) Can you tell me how to manage this situation or adjust my email address to (Email address hidden if logged out) so I can activate my support account?

    regards Bas Oberndorff

    Hi Victoria

    Sorry I incorrectly mentioned minified in my original description. No, I’m not minifying anything (my mistake for mentioning that) and if you ignore that word and read the rest of my issue, the problem remains. My problem stems from avia-merged-styles loading after my child theme’s style.css (as in the title of this thread). I haven’t seen avia-merged-styles before and it looks like a new stylesheet with the latest Enfold version. I’m wondering why it is also the last stylesheet to load?

    avia-merged-styles appears in Enfold’s new asset-manager.class.php in
    function try_minifying_scripts() around line 65.

    The live version of the website at crhlaw.com.au which uses Enfold version 4.2.3 has no such css file.
    The staging version of the website as per the credentials I supplied, using Enfold version 4.2.6 now has the newly-defined Enfold avia-merged-styles stylesheet. If you search for it in the source, you’ll see it is listed as the very last stylesheet and hence whatever it contains overwrites the custom button styles I’ve specified in my child theme.

    I’m not sure how else to make clear that this is a new Enfold class, with a new function, that loads a css file after all others have loaded and so causes problems with styles defined in a child theme. I’d like my child theme to load after any Enfold stylesheets without having to code a workaround in my functions.php, as I’m going to have to replicate this on all my client websites.

    If you debug the source you’ll see what I mean ;)). Hope you can help.

    Cheers
    Diana

    Previous and Next post navigation buttons are missing. I have not disabled them in the Enfold options. I am running a child theme, but have made no mods or custom functions that would effect this. I do have 2 test posts, so it should work. I’ve searched the forums and have not found anything related to this issue.

    Hi,

    I have added a mailchimp form to my footer. Within the mailchimp form I have coded a customer css in html which is exactly how I would like to form to display. The enfold theme however is overriding the coding I think as it is nothing like I have designed.

    The full code is:

    <style>
    .email {
    text-align: center;
    font-size: 12px;
    padding: 20px 80px;
    border-color: #000000;
    border-bottom: 0px;
    }

    ::placeholder {
    color: #000000;
    }

    .button {
    color: #000000;
    text-align: center;
    text-decoration: none;
    display: inline-block;
    font-size: 12px;
    margin: 0px 0px;
    cursor: pointer;
    border: #000000;
    padding: 20px 118.5px;
    border-color: #000000;
    background-color: #ffffff;
    border: 2px solid #000000;

    }
    </style>
    <p>
    <input type=”email” class=”email” name=”EMAIL” placeholder=”NAME@EMAIL.CO.UK” required />
    <br>
    <input type=”submit” class=”button” value=”SUBSCRIBE” />
    </p>

    Please can you advise how to use this code instead of the enfold set css?

    I have used https://www.w3schools.com/html/tryit.asp?filename=tryhtml_intro to build my css.

    Many thanks

    Hi I have a problem using “learndash” LMS in Enfold and Firefox (tested with Safari, is no problem).

    Info: Enfold 4.2.6, problem in Firefox (59.0.1, on iMac)
    When a user clicks a “statistics” link, a box pops up containing the results of a test they took. In FIrefox (59.0.1, on iMac), the header area covers the “close” button (top right of the pane), the sidebar is still there and the footer is in the wrong position.
    Pic attached

    The elements in place should be covered by the popup box, but they are not.

    Is there anything you can suggest I do?

    Hi Kriesi team,

    Since the last Enfold update (4.2.6) the shop page of my Woocommerce website where I display all the products shows a “Read more” button instead of “Add to cart”. When I’m on the product page I can see every informations except for the “Add to cart” button.

    I looked into the Woocommerce source code and I checked multiple times that all the conditions were valid.
    It’s only when I tried to recreate everything on a fresh new local website that I saw that everything worked well with other themes.

    So when I activate the Enfold theme 4.2.6 and activate the WordPress debug option, I have the following message on shop page and product page :

    Warning: call_user_func_array() expects parameter 1 to be a valid callback, no array or string given in ..../wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php on line 288 class="post-503 product type-product status-publish product_cat-alice last instock shipping-taxable product-type-simple">

    I found this thread on the board : I don’t know if that has something to do with my problem but do you think the next update could fix it ?

    Thanks in advance !
    I can also give some FTP access and temp login.

    Cheers,

    #939715

    /enfold-child/shortcodes/portfolio.php shows my customization (shortcode buttons in portfolio grid)/
    /enfold-child/shortcodes/portfolio/portfolio.php also shows the customization.

    So the portfolio.php is loaded.
    But the portfolio nav is NOT loaded.
    Also if I just delete portfolio.php

    Hey inMotionGraphics,

    Thank you for using Enfold.

    I’m not sure if that’s possible but you can try to create a custom script (javascript or jQuery) that alters the href attribute of the share buttons. You can then append the window.location.hash or the url fragment to the value of the href attribute or url. Or just append the href attribute value of the tab section title to the share link url or href value. This seems to be doable because the url query of each share links is at the very end of the pattern.

    Best regards,
    Ismael

    Hey Johan,

    Thank you for using Enfold.

    The style is different because of the following css modifications.

    @media only screen and (min-width: 767px) {
    body div .avia-button {
        border-radius: 3px;
        padding: 10px;
        font-size: 12px;
        text-decoration: none;
        display: inline-block;
        border-bottom-style: solid;
        border-bottom-width: 1px;
        margin: 3px 0;
        line-height: 1.2em;
        position: relative;
        font-weight: normal;
        text-align: center;
        max-width: 100%;
    }
    }

    The button is being applied only when the screen width is wider than 767px.

    Best regards,
    Ismael

    Hi bakbek,

    This is not a perfect solution, the distance between the buttons will not be the same but you can see if this works for you.

    Here is the code you can put in Enfold > General Styling > Quick Css,  if it does not work, put into themes/enfold/css/custom.css

    @media screen and (min-width: 768px) and (max-width: 1099px) {
      .avia-button-wrap.avia-button-right.avia-builder-el-14 {
        float: left;
        margin-left: -16em;
      }
    }
    @media screen and (min-width: 1100px) and (max-width: 1300px) {
      .avia-button-wrap.avia-button-right.avia-builder-el-14 {
        float: left;
        margin-left: -14em;
      }
    }
    @media screen and (min-width: 1301px)  {
      .avia-button-wrap.avia-button-right.avia-builder-el-14 {
        float: left;
        margin-left: -10em;
      }
    }

    If you need further assistance please let us know.

    Hey friefodspor,
    I took a look at your site, but didn’t see the social share buttons on your posts, perhaps they were disabled when I looked, so I assume they are the Social Share Button Element like the demo.
    I wrote this css to work on the default buttons:

    #top .av-share-box ul,#top .av-share-box ul li {
        border-style: none!important;
        border-width: 0px!important;
    }
    #top .av-share-box ul li a {
        border: none!important;
        height: 50px!important;
        width: 50px!important;
        border-radius: 100%;
        padding: 15px!important;
        margin: auto !important;
        background-color: #74b86b;
    }
    #top .av-share-box ul li a[data-av_icon]:before {
    color: #fff !important;
    }

    Expected results:

    Hi there,

    after i’ve adjusted the color for frames in the enfold settings. I’ve now by the slider a line like a separatorline by all the pictures on the full slider. by the normal slider i doesn’t have this issue. is there a way (with css) to adjust the color specially for the full slider back to white (so it’s not visible)?
    i’ve searched through the forum, but with no luck.

    second question:
    is there a button to click to hide:
    <!–
    Debugging Info for Theme support:

    Theme: Enfold
    Version: 4.2.6
    Installed: enfold
    AviaFramework Version: 4.6
    AviaBuilder Version: 0.9.5
    ML:128-PU:28-PLA:9
    WP:4.9.5
    Updates: enabled
    –>
    i’m happy to recommend your templates to friends, but not really interested, that some “competitors” knows by the first look on my page, which WP-Template i’m using. :)

    thanks in advance!

    Hello Victoria
    My reply to your last piece of CSS given to me was met with a request to close the thread – which seems strange because my topic was still about Contact Form 7 with (CSS) Enfold Styles.

    Since I was not able to get a reply on that thread I have to start again – which doubles the amount of work.

    I have copied and pasted the ending of your last CSS here and my reply to you and can only hope I find a reply to this. thanks for your help.

    My website page in discussion: you can see the problem here on desktop / wide screen view

    Hi Pete,

    Here is the code you can put in Enfold > General Styling > Quick Css, if it does not work, put into themes/enfold/css/custom.css

    @media only screen and (min-width: 768px) {

    Thanks so much Victoria! thats a really clever bit of CSS!

    I’ve set it at 1368px – just wider than iPad pro screen horizontal.
    It works fine apart from a couple of small things:-

    1. On the wide desktop version where the name and email are side by side – the space between that line and the SUBJECT line below seems to be wider than when the 2 fields are stacked on top of each other.

    2. Also on desktop perhaps the gap/padding above the Name/Email line is wider making a large gap between that line on desktop view and the bulleted text above. Ideally I would like the gaps above/below field to be consistent between desktop and mobile.

    3. The CSS you provided to create black field borders is being carried into the Enfold Search field. Is there a way I can restrict this border styling to the CF7 form?

    Here’s the full quick CSS i have for this contact page at the moment including your latest fixes.

    /* CF7 Submit Button CSS Styles */
    .wpcf7 input[type=submit] {
    padding:15px 45px;
    background:#FCE228;
    color:#232323;
    font-size:16px;
    font-weight:bold;
    border:1px solid #232323;
    cursor:pointer;
    -webkit-border-radius: 3px;
    border-radius: 3px;
    }

    /* CF7 Submit Button CSS Hover Styles */
    .wpcf7 input[type=submit]:hover {
    background-color: #232323;
    color: #FCE228;
    border:1px solid #232323;
    }

    /* CF7 Label Text Styles */
    .wpcf7 label {
    padding: 0 0 10px 0;
    font-size: 20px;
    color:#232323;
    }

    /* CF7 File Upload Button CSS Styles */

    .wpcf7 input[type=file] {
    padding:0px 0px;
    background:none;
    color:#000;
    font-size:14px;
    border:none;
    -webkit-border-radius: 3px;
    border-radius: 3px;
    }

    /* CF7 Input Field Heights */
    .wpcf7 input[type=text] {height:40px;}
    .wpcf7 input[type=email] {height:40px;}

    /* CF7 Input Field border and radius */
    #top .main_color .input-text,
    #top .main_color input[type=’text’],
    #top .main_color input[type=’input’],
    #top .main_color input[type=’password’],
    #top .main_color input[type=’email’],
    #top .main_color input[type=’number’],
    #top .main_color input[type=’url’], #top .main_color input[type=’tel’],

    border-color: #232323;
    border-radius: 3px;
    margin-top: 5px;
    }

    /* CF7 name and email Fields alongside but not on mobile */
    @media only screen and (min-width: 1368px) {
    #top .wpcf7-form-control-wrap.your-name input[type=text] {
    width: 95%;

    }
    .wpcf7-form div + p, .wpcf7-form div + p + p {

    Hi,
    Yes, that is what the export looks like, and it is good to save a export on your computer, but as you will read here: Read about using a Child Theme
    The button you will want to click is “Import Settings from your Parent Theme” which is above the “Export theme settings file” button.
    then you’ll need to re-set your menu options.

    Best regards,
    Mike

    Hey Jordan,

    I left it blank because it’s not working. I have never received any errors for it.

    I’ve had enfold for around 4 years now and no matter what I put in there, the Quick CSS under general styling has never worked for me for some reason.

    Inside the custom css for the button I only have this:

    body div .avia-button { border-radius: 1px; }

    and there’s no reaction to it (it’s not working)…

    Best regards,
    Aurora

    Well yes and no =) there was one variation/ item in stock, now changed all variations to 1 in stock and set price and in stock status.Purchase button still states products out of stock, and can not be ordered.

    I copied the product page, turned enfold builder off, works.

    When logged in compare http://www.ipscbutiken.se/produkt/trijicon-rmr-kopia/ with enfold page http://www.ipscbutiken.se/produkt/trijicon-rmr/

    Same product/variations setting, same stock levels different purchase button function.

    =)

    Thanx

    Hey brand4,

    Thank you for using Enfold.

    1.) Please upgrade the theme from version 4.2 to version 4.2.6. Let us know if that helps.

    2.) Use this code to change the button opacity on hover.

    .avia-button.avia-color-light:hover {
        opacity: 0.1;
        color: #fff;
    }

    3.) Are you referring to the image overlay? Please try this css code.

    .image-overlay {
        position: absolute;
        background: #000;
        z-index: 300;
        height: 100%;
        width: 100%;
        opacity: 0;
        filter: alpha(opacity=0);
    }

    I had a 45 minute screen sharing session with the WooCommerce happiness engineer to help with my bookings plug-in. The issue I am having is a booking product is not displaying correctly with Enfold, but when we activated another theme, it displayed correctly. Instead of displaying correctly, I am getting a very long list of PayPal buttons and it won’t display the calendar. It takes a very long time for page to load as it “appears” it may be trying to load every single day or option as separate purchases. He couldn’t see any issues with my bookings settings that would be causing the issue nor did any other settings seem to be the issue. It displayed perfectly with one of the WP default themes.

    Here is the product page that shows the issue: https://leehoyphotography.com/index.php/product/half-day-birding-tour/

    Thanks,

    Lee

    hm a few days ago and on enfold 4.2.6. it is now on 4754 under _startSlideshow: function()

    wow nice tip.

    or have we to change here the workaround vice versa too – on clicking the buttons manually

    		// public method: shows next image
    		next : function(e)
    		{
    			e.preventDefault();
    			this._stopSlideshow();
    			this._navigate( 'next' );
    		},

    		// public method: shows previous image
    		previous : function(e)
    		{
    			e.preventDefault();
    			this._stopSlideshow();
    			this._navigate( 'prev' );
    		},
