Topic: Trying to find css class
Hi everyone,
I’ve been literally investigating on this for the last two days b4 I give up now. I need to find the class for the backgroundcolor on a new website (with Enfold ‘law’ demo). The mechanism of Firefox Quantum and the ‘regular’ inspector functions are clear to me. I simply stumbled over the (avia) special geading and button background. Can’t find the class to alter.class-xyz background-color: whatever;can someone help please?

It would be nice if you introduced a z-index field to all elements. I used the Agency demo https://kriesi.at/themes/enfold-one-page-agency/#work for some inspiration but moved the 3 boxed further down (into the next colour section) with a larger negative margin and the buttons stopped working.

There have been some stylistic changes to the checkout page and we switched to ‘https://’ as we got our SSL these past weeks. Wondering if these could be affecting.
This thread indicated a non-working button with a float set could be the issue, but haven’t been able to find a place to add ‘overflow;hidden’ or to clear any floats, applicable here, that work:

Hi Rikard,
I cleared the Safari cache 3 times, cleared History. closed browser, re-opened, restarted the computer. All before placing the ticket.
Yesterday there was a Safari update. Today, I checked again, some pages were showing partially CAPS and partially non-caps. Cleared the browser’s cache again. This time it did it. Browsers are becoming more persistent on keeping things cached I’ve noticed. It’s all about speed.

I have another issue that has been happening for a few months with a Custom Separator that does not force a line break after. I have been replacing it with a whitespace separator but this forces me to update all of the blog posts. Would you like me to add a link to the blog here or open a new ticket?
Also, could you please take a look at this ticket: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/very-strange-click-to-call-button-behavior/ the button does not behave consistently when you change the link phone number. I don’t know if it is because it’s a second call button on the page or the URL format is not the right one for Enfold (I have found several tickets that indicate tel:8000000000 is the way to go but I also found tel:18000000000 as the way to go and I’d like a little direction) Both buttons should behave in the exact same manner. I have tested copying the shortcode and changing the number and it stops working properly (it links to a blank page that looks like an error). I have tried inserting a brand new shortcode and again the same error happens with the second number and call button. It’s the URL that’s failing because it doesn’t have the proper formatting. Which is the formatting Enfold needs for Click to Call buttons?
Thanks again for your help on this. It is essential for me to have the URL behave consistently so I can track it. If I don’t know what it looks like, I cannot track it. And it evidently the URL seems to look the same but the behavior on the webpage shows it doesn’t.

I´m sorry for the login problems, i didn´t even know, that the login is blocked for other countrys and which addon causes this problem.Since you are the only one who could log in to my site, please can you help me with one more thing?
On every page i have a sidebar (the white box on the right side + the 2 buttons below).
When the screensize is <900 px, i want the sidebar to dissapear and some sort of arrow should appear. When i click on the arrow, the sidebar should appear – same effect like the burger menu on mobile -> When i click the burger menu on mobile, the menu comes in from the right side.At the “enfold settings” -> “sidebar settings” i found the option to remove the sidebar on smaller screensizes, that comes in handy, but isn´t the thing i was looking for.

Thanks for the reply. That was the first thing I checked. My permalink structure is set to Day & Name, ie.: https://supro.co/2018/11/10/sample-post/, so should be displaying the post url in full, as it does for other social share buttons. I’m also guessing you don’t have plain permalinks selected on the Enfold 2017 demo site, where the same p=xxx can be found when using the Twitter share button on one of your own blog post examples.
It seems to be a problem with the share button code. Is there anything else you can suggest.

This is theme related. Why does the button open in a new page when the number is local? Or is it because Enfold does not allow two phone numbers on the same page with the same exact behavior?
I’ll take care of the tracking when the behavior of the button gets to be the same for all the Click to Call buttons.

Hi Kriesi-Team,
i worked a lot on my website and now i want to give it the “final-touch” for the layout. Therefore i have some questions and i hope you can help me with them:
1. Small bar over the header: I really would like to put some links in it and make it a littlebit bigger so my future customers will reconize it, like in the the Enfold-Demo for shop, medical and law. I can’t find the functions to do it like that. Am i just to stupid to find it, or do i have to insert a css-code?2. Header/ social media buttons: I have 3 social media buttons in the header on the right side, but they are not really on the right side. If you visit my website (you have to login before over the WP-Backup, because it’s still in maintanace-mode), you will reconize, that there is a lot of space between the right side and the social media buttons. I really would like to change this, but i don’t know how. When you look at the enfold demos like elegant portfolio, dark photography, gym, etc. it’s different. Can you please help me with that?
3. Wishlist: Is it possible to add a wischlist, so customers can simply add prdofucts (tours) to the wishlist, without getting registratet beafore. and if not, how can i add the registry (like in the enfold travel demo)?
4. Buttons: With your help i changed the shape of the buttons from round to rectangular, but now, the buttons “are to rectangular”. This looks like a microsoft frontpage website. Is it possible to round off the corners a little bit, to make the website look more “quality”? Here is the CSS i insertet so far:

Sorry for the late reply, the button element has a custom class field at the bottom of the editor, to enable please go to Enfold Theme Options > Layout Builder > Show element options for developers

Hello,
We’ve recently noticed an issue when trying to set a featured image in a post. This happens on posts, events (tribe events) and pages. I’m using the latest version of Enfold (4.5) with WordPress 4.9.8. When trying to add a featured image to a post or page I am able to select the image from the media library, however once I click the “Set Featured Image” button and return to the page admin there is no thumbnail visible in the featured image box. There is, however an option to “remove the image” with the text “Click the image to edit or update”. Upon saving/updating the page no featured image is visible in the admin or on the front-end of the site.
Any ideas?
Also, while troubleshooting this issue would it be possible to download an older version of Enfold (4.3.2) possibly? I’ve tested on 4.4.1 and getting the same issue.

Thanks for your reply. My rationale is that links shared to social channels with only the p=xxx will adversely affect SEO. When I review the original demo site for Enfold and an example blog post, I note that all the social share buttons resolve the full URL apart from Twitter which uses the p=xxx. So, I guess I’m wondering why that is…
For example, on my Blogger site I have a Twitter Share button applied and when clicked this resolves the whole URL, which of courses contain important keywords for SEO (purpose, education), ie. https://simbeck-hampson.blogspot.com/2011/03/the-purpose-of-education.html
Look forward to your thoughts on this, and perhaps a solution too.

I took a look at the source code of testimony slider and it looks like it has been modified, where some lines are commented out and there are some extra closing tags now. Were you trying to make some changes here?
I also noticed that you are getting a 404 error for a css file “all.css” in a new folder “new-assets” this is not a Enfold folder or file, but I wonder if you had some customizations there, perhaps for mobile view? This would explain why you have many “sudden” errors.
I see that you are using “autoptimize” please disable this plugin while we are trying to sort this out, and any other caching plugins. Actually can you try to disable all of your plugins to see if that helps? Can we also try this? Please include a admin login in the Private Content area, so we can try to figure out what is wrong with your testimony slider. I also see your “back to top” button has an error, what other elements have you noticed?Best regards,

i dont see you beeing responsive to fix/help – in my opinion its up to Kriesi and his team to help.
Enfold is promised to be fully responsive and than it seems to be almost impossible to setup a simple layout without spending hours & hours of trying…
This really is a disappointment.Since i tried for hours now without success i am more or less conviced that its not possible to make the list behaving responsive and responsiveness is not the same than to build separate websites for each and every screensize.

The issue we are having:
When clicking “Advanced Layout Editor” when trying to create a new page, nothing happens. The drag/drop function does not appear. It’s like the button is broken.

Color section: No button hover WITH background overlay / No diagonal section border WITHOUT background overlay.Hi there,
I got an issue by using buttons (in a “button row” content element) in a column bottomlined within a color section.
If a diagonal section border AND a section background overlay – no matter wether just a section color or an image – is set in the color section, the buttons within the color section are without function. No linking on click / touch, no hover on mouse-over.
Seems like the div of the section border overlays the buttons and the z-index of the div is higher than the z-index of the buttons div.And I got a freaky second issue.
Setup: Color section with self hosted (mp4, 16:9) video set in the section background tab + diagonal section border (with shadow) enabled in the section layout tab.
But… no diagonal section border will be shown on the page.
The freaky point: If there is a background overlay enabled in the color section – the diagonal section border will be shown.Do you have any suggestions for a solution?
And by the way: is it possible to set a background video in a color section not only to scroll with the page but be fixed or scroll with a parallax motion?
This is possible with an image but not with a video right now.

I would like to lower the pallor / transparency of the “To the cart / show details” button, so it comes more to light. And also it would be great if you have another appearance for the button > without “zeige details”
