Hello Yigit,
Its better but not exactly like I want it to be.
I would like, that the final layout would be like this: http://imgur.com/a/EQmnl
For this it needs to:
– The title needs to be on the same line with the excerpt text
– The thumbnail shoul be in the middle of the line of the text
– And I would like to have the control to change the length of the excerpt text (ideal would be 15-20 words not more).
The example what I am looking for is here: http://imgur.com/a/EQmnl
Is this doable?
Best Regards,
Hi,
I’m sorry but there is no documentation specifically created for the accordion slider. However, the use the of the slider is pretty direct, it works almost the same as the other sliders. Take note that the size of the slider items will use the exact dimension of the images or thumbnails specified in the Accordion Image Size options. If you select a thumbnail with a defined dimension of 450x450px, the slider items will have that exact size.
In the demo, the size of the images is 1500x430px. http://kriesi.at/themes/enfold/homepage/home-v10-magazine/

Hey Did,
Not completely sure what you want to achieve or where you wish to place the gallery thumbnails. Would you mind posting us a mockup of what you would like to achieve? You can upload the screenshot to imgur.com or dropbox and share the link here :)

Hi,
Is there a quick and easy way to have the thumbnails on the gallery to display on the left or the right side or even the top of the big image? A simple custom CSS that will allow that. This would be a good added feature on the next update.
best,
Did.
I have already managed with the filters, but I have one question though: on the theme demo was available a price filter with slider which I could not Identify within WooCommerce widgets. Can you support me on this one?
somehow the slider is functioning now… has a mind of its own. Hope to decide to remain like this… :)
also the regeneration of thumbnails functioned perferctly! Thanks!
Let’s say I want a simple thumbnail slider. No light boxes, skins, or layers. What approach do you suggest? I’d like to use something that ships with the theme, and I hope I don’t have to buy Soliloquy?
I don’t see navigation options on the Full Width Easy Slider.
The Partner/Logo slider was suggested but it looks like more of a carousel.
Also, we need to be able to create our own thumbnails.

Hey!
– Please go to Appearance > Widgets and add WooCommerce widgets into Shop overview widget area.
– If it does not work on your server as well, please create a temporary admin login and post it here privately so we can look into it.
– Please go to WooCommerce > Settings > Products > Display and adjust product image sizes and then regenerate them using this plugin – https://wordpress.org/plugins/regenerate-thumbnails/

Hey sitesme,
Thank you for using Enfold.
1-2.) Please follow solution number 3. https://kriesi.at/support/topic/magazine-thumbnails-2/#post-307751
3.) Edit the blog posts element, set the Preview Image Size to manual then select the thumbnail size. However, the best solution is to upload images with the same size and proportion.

Ismael
Hi
I love the Enfold theme and have used it to build many of my clients’ sites. Thank you for a terrific theme and superb support.
I can’t seem to find the setting to reveal the thumbnails to the left (to go back) and the right (to advance) of each portfolio in the correct order as they appear in the drop-down menu. In addition, some portfolio advance and go-back thumbnails do not appear at all.
The url in question: mccalley.com
• For instance, the portfolios in the drop-down are in this order:
Kilroy…
Porte Cochere…
Edmonton…
Kalamazoo…
Articulated Desk…
Indoor/Outdoor…
but the small thumbnails, starting within the Kilroy portfolio appear out of order as follows:
Kalamazoo…
Indoor/Outdoor…
Articulated Desk…
• In addition, some of the portfolio advance and go back thumbnails do not appear at all.
• And lastly, if you click backwards starting within the Kilroy portfolio thumbnail, it goes to
Porte…
Edmonton…
etc.
Can you please suggest a fix for this or do you need my login credentials to check it?
Thank you again,
Marlise
Hey fineart,
Unfortunately it would require quite some time and customization of the theme to achieve this, so I am sorry to tell you that this is not covered by our support. However if its really important for you to get this done, you can always hire a freelancer to do the job for you :)
However since you are enfold customer we want to help you with this. Would you mind providing a precise link to your site, showing the elements in question? So we can inspect and suggest you the best options :)
Please provide more details.
1. Is it a portfolio item or a WooCommerce product thumbnail on which you want a second overlay info ?
2. Where is the 2md overlay info coming from?
3. Please post us your login credentials (in the “private data” field), so we can take a look at your backend.
Login credentials include:
- The URL to the login screen.
- A valid username (with full administration capabilities).
- As well as a password for that username.
- permission to deactivate plugins if necessary.
Best regards,
Vinay

Don’t forget to regenerate the thumbnails.

I’ve seen this to be a recurring problem for other users. I am unable to upload some images using the media library >> add new function. All are under the 32 MB limit. Sometimes I get an error, and other times, I see the image as 100% uploaded, but when I switch over to my library, the thumbnail doesn’t show the image (just generic thumbnail with image file name.) I try to add the image and it doesn’t work.
I’ll include login so you can look at my media library.
Can you help?
I need to move from online website to local XAMPP for post work fine but nbot thumbnails.

Would you mind providing a precise link to your site, showing the elements in question? We need to be able to inspect them in order to help :)
Did you regenerated your thumbnails already?

Hi, I try to export post from website with eXtended RSS o WXR (XML) but when I import in a new enfold theme thumbnail is missing.
Hi,
The size of the image should not be less than 500px. Those images will not be included in the image selection. You set the width of the “entry_with_sidebar” thumbnail to 450px, that’s why is is excluded in the image dropdown.

Ismael
Hi,
As i understand you like the image to look normal when user hover over the gallery thumbnails correct?
I have added the link in private where I noticed images similar to your description.
#top .avia-gallery .avia-gallery-thumb a:hover {
opacity: 1!important;
}
If you still have any issue please share a precise link to your site, showing the elements in question? We need to be able to inspect them in order to help :)

Hi,
I read this topic but I want to ask just in case, is there a compatible solution that I can use to lazy load gallery images? My client likes to use the Enfold’s galleries with the thumbnails on the bottom that show the image when you mouse over, I’d like for all these images to lazy load with the lowest priority. Preferably the page would show as being loaded before the galleries would start lazy loading, is it possible to do this without breaking other things in the site, especially things like Layerslider WP, Revolution slider or Royalslider? Thanks
Hi,
Have you tried regenerating thumbnails after changing their sizes in WooCommerce settings? You can use this plugin to do so – https://wordpress.org/plugins/regenerate-thumbnails/

I disabled the featured image from showing up on my single post, but instead of no image displaying I have a thumbnail of a pen (it’s the post thumbnail that resembles an ‘edit’ button) but clicks through to the featured image. How can I mass disable this from happening?
Example where this is happening: http://www.icunursingcareers.com/nursing-certificates-certification-differences/

Sorry, links updated in text:
Gallery – add hover to thumbnails – http://chrisgallop.com/portfolio-item/kitchen-upgrade/
I’m finding a bug that I think is being caused by: var newImg = big_prev.find(‘img’).attr(‘src’),
Sometimes when you select the large image it opens the last image loaded instead of the large image shown.
To see this bug go to: http://chrisgallop.com/portfolio-item/avian-boson-shaft/
>>Click on the second thumbnail (or 3rd or 4th)
>>Click outside of lightbox to go to main screen
>>Click on large image – the last image opens instead of the large image on seen on screen
Hi,
You should upload images with the same size or proportion. Images with various sizes will likely to produce different thumbnails.
Best regards,
Ismael
Hey europeanhorizons,
Please add each speaker as a portfolio entry and use a masonry element to display the thumbnails.
If you have any questions please setup the speakers as portfolio items and get back to us with a link where we can inspect the element in question, we will be happy to help :)
Thank you for using enfold.
Best regards,
Vinay
Hi,
You are using WP Smush plugin hence the images appear to be blur. Please deactivate smush it plugin and re-generate the thumbnails using this plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/regenerate-thumbnails/ Then all your images will appear sharp as long as the source image that you upload is of high quality.
Best regards,
Vinay
HI,
I’m having problems setting up my product / category pages and want to display a different banner for each top level category page and all the subcategory pages with the top level category title on top.
I have added a banner to the top level category thumbnails and selected, “Display product image and description as fullwidth page banner”.
The problem with this is, it takes the category description and displays it over the banner instead of the title. I want the description to display on the page not on the banner. How do I achieve this?
Another issue is, the banner will only show on the top level page and not the sub categories. Is there a way to set it up so that they show on all subcategores?
Many thanks in advance.

The theme has been updated to v3.8, this did not resolve the bug or add the rollover to thumbnails. I’ve added a image for reference that shows what we want for thumbnail rollovers. Please help!

Hey NicomIT,
Try the following:
1. Install this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/simple-image-sizes/
2. Go to Settings > Media
3. Change the square image size (increase its width / height).
4. Regenerate the thumbnails by clicking the button at the bottom.
