I have a gallery with a custom link to a self hosted mp4 video, when I click on the thumbnail the video opens in a new window instead of the lightbox.

    Hey verena_1992,

    Thank you for using Enfold.

The images are no longer square. Did you regenerate the thumbnails after adjusting the size?

    Best regards,
    Ismael

    Hello support,

first of all, thank you for an amazing theme!

I’m trying to put in custom css, but it’s not working in the “quick css” under “general styling” or when I put in “body div .avia-button { border-radius: 1px; }” under “custom css class” for the orange button.

    http://mindventure.dk/portfolio-item/jordan/?preview_id=570&preview_nonce=30150a005e&_thumbnail_id=571&preview=true

    What am I missing?

    Thank you so much Victoria!

One more thing, on the hover is there is a margin on the top, right and left hand side. Is there a way to remove these margins so that when you hover, the blue covers the entire thumbnail? Thank you!

I have a Fullwidth Easy Slider that rotates between three videos. But before it advances to the next video, it briefly goes back to the first frame. This is extremely distracting, since it looks like the video is getting cut off in a strange way.

Is there any way to modify this behavior?

    UPDATE:
When using videos hosted on YouTube, it actually shows the thumbnail rather than the first frame. It’s still obnoxious, but it gives me a workaround. I’ve set the thumbnails on YouTube to a solid black frame. At least this way it looks intentional.

It would still be nice to use self-hosted videos without the glitch.

    Hi Victoria,

And now I found another problem, the small thumbnail of my gallery became very transparent and smaller… I’m not sure if it’s affected by your code.

Please refer 2 pages on my website:

Hi I have a need to display some thumbnails, each of which would launch a lightbox gallery. I can do it by hiding all but the first thumbnail, which works fine but seems a bit hacky. Is there another way through the ALB?
Currently, I just hide all the thumbs, then add this: #top #wrap_all .avia-gallery .avia-gallery-thumb a.first_thumb.lightbox.lightbox-added{display: block;} and it works fine. Just looking for the cleanest solution.

    Thanks!

    Hi,

I would like to use the Ajax Portfolio Gallery. How can I set the images not to be scaled? I would like to show the original proportions. I have portrait, landscape and square.

I already used the plugin Regenerate Thumbnails, but nothing happens.

    Thank you.

    Hello Victoria.

As you can see in the wireframe all the rows has the same height.

    Here’s the wireframe: https://imageshack.com/a/img923/473/25rOFE.png

What I try to do is “send” to the plugin the Magazine Thumbnail and automatize the height for all the post without css. But get_the_thumbnail() don’t find the Magazine one.

I’m trying to remove all the meta items from my blog Grid Layout feed so only the Title, Excerpt and Read More appear. I’ve already removed the image thumbnail with this quick CSS:

    .avia-content-slider .slide-image { display: none; }

Is there quick CSS to remove the date and category?

    Thanks

    John

    #936121

That’s what I already did and posted my results.

What I’m asking for is to have this built in the theme like for example Thrive Themes has done by offering a performance tab to regenerate thumbnails.

    #935843

    Hi,

There’s actually nothing to fix. In a masonry element, you can select different number of columns and that particular size will make sure that the images are big enough to cover the item container even when you’re using a single column. If you want to adjust the size of the “masonry” thumbnail, just install the following plugin then go to the Settings > Media panel. Look for the “masonry” thumbnail, adjust the max width and height, update, save then regenerate the thumbnails.

I’ve been having issues with my site not displaying instagram posts properly, instead of getting the thumbnails, I get the message “Instagram did not return a 200.” This began happening in mid-March, and I followed the advice here which seemed to fix the problem for a while, but now I seem to be getting the problem again. Curiously enough, it seems to be happening intermitantly, for example yesterday morning the site briefly began showing Instagram posts correctly, but this morning it’s back to the same error message.

I’m using the latest versions of Enfold (4.2.6), and WordPress (4.9.4) running on a PHP 7.1 install. The only changes to the PHP is making the changes suggested in the above post. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Hi,

1.) The actual shop page’s Layout > Sidebar Settings is set to “No Sidebar”. Please enable the sidebar.

2.) Look for the product thumbnail size settings inside the Woocommerce > Settings > Products > Display > Product Images section.

    Best regards,

I have a brand new install of Enfold on a new install of WordPress with a clean install of the Health demo. There are no plugins activated all other components are current.

I created a new blog post and added an image. After doing so, the single blog post no longer shows any of the blog styling; it shows just the text and image of the post, but without the blog header (category and titler, and no footer (date, comments, tags, social links, etc. )

I narrowed it down to simply saving using the advanced layout editor! I edit the “A nice entry” sample post of the Heath demo using the advanced editor, I press space, delete the space, and save.

Although it doesn’t show up in the editor, the revision history shows that the resulting html in the is wrapped with
    [av_textblock size='' font_color='' color='' av-medium-font-size='' av-small-font-size='' av-mini-font-size='' admin_preview_bg=''] shortcode.

The effect on the generated html is to remove the <article> and other tags.

    The html before saving:

    HI~

I find that in some kind of status, some thumbnail won’t deleted by system.

I want to know that what kind of status the thumbnail won’t deleted automatically?

How do I clean those thumbnail automatically or by batch that parent image was deleted by system already?

    please help me, thank you.

    Hey jrwired1073,

Please try using a caching plugin such as W3 Total Cache for scripts and Smush it for images.

After installing Smush it regenerates thumbnails using the thumbnail regenerator plugin.

    Hope this helps :)

Hi – We are using the Catalogue feature and suddenly the thumbnails that are displayed with the info are being smushed so they are too narrow. Please see the page below. We’ve been using it for several years, so not sure why it suddenly isn’t working. Can you advise me on how to fix?

Hi, I use the horizntal gallery the first time and there is one point confusing me very much.
I have Sides with several different Gallerys. The Thumbnails working very fine, the hover and opening Effects too.
On click, the picture opens in a Lightbox, very good. The next gallery: All works fine too.

But: Both gallerys open in the same Lightbox. If the first gallery has 20 pictures, and the second 20, the Lightbox has 30, used by both. Is ist possible to seperate them?????

    Hi Guys,

I am trying to edit the mini cart to show the different color thumbnails that i have created for a product. But no changes i make to the mini-cart.php in plugins/woocommerce/templates/cart/mini-cart.php have any effect. Does enfold have it’s own mini-cart.php somewhere, that overwrites the woocommerce one?

    Thanks,

    Hi,

You can set the image size for the shop page in Appearance > Customize > Woocommerce > Product Images > Thumbnail Width > then set the thumbnail width to make it have a uniform size.

As for the shop page, unfortunately the page set shop page can’t be modified and will just inherit the settings from other pages, there are 2 options that can be done, first is create another page to be set as the custom shop page where you can edit and even use Advanced Layout Builder, the 2nd one is still to follow the instructions before and on other pages manually set the sidebar to No Sidebar.

    Best regards,
    Nikko

I actually solve the problem 2 with plugin Simple Image Size to regenerate thumbnail size in a larger scale. Just wonder if Enfold should make it an option, coz I can imagine how important it is for most users to have crisp image on the front page.

For problem 1, I still can not figure out the one column issue.

    Hello

We are making a blog in enfold. In the home page we have a section with the three mosts viewed posts, we are using “WordPress Popular Post” for display them. The problem is we don’t can access to the Magazine Thumbnails get_the_thumbnail() retieve a bunch of images but any of them are the magazine one.

    You can help us?

you can see the distance, marked by red lines…the distance should be 5 px….on all devices…On Desktop it works with the following css:
    .grid-entry { max-height: 265px;}

but this is a bad solution for smaller displays…

    Hi
I have managed to edit some things on the single product template for my customer, including making the main product image on the single product page much larger. However this also made the gallery thumbnails below the main image much larger. The solution would be to have 5 or 6 thumbnails per row instead of the default 3. Is there any way to do this?

    Thanks

    Hi Stadsherberg,

Not sure if you managed to solve this problem, but I had the same issue and found a quick and easy way to solve it.

Just comment out the following line of code in /js/shortcodes.js on line 2607

//single_tabs = container.find('.av-animation-delay-container'), //for elements inside the tab that receive waypoint animation

Now the thumbnails in the hidden tabs should be loaded and fully visible when you switch tabs.

I see there is a way to override /js/shortcodes.js by adding it to your child theme folder, but I wouldn’t bother, as you need the full code from this file in your child theme for it to work, so you’re going to have to replace it after a major update anyway. Just remember to go back and comment out this line after each theme update.

    I hope this helps.

    Brendon
