Topic: Theme
Hello,
Sorry for writing here, but I can only use the forum if I have a purchase code. I use your theme but I am not the one who bought it. My developer guy has the license however he can’t fix mx problem. My problem is when using Mac Chrome it is like the font size, style, settings are getting overwritten. It is of course a created child theme but I don’t know how to fix it (tried many things, css, whatnot) and the developer guy has no idea either. This is very annoying because I only use MAC products and when I open the site it is not even bold. I can read here you don’t give theme support here but since you don’t have a public email and without having the code I can’t open a topic but if you would just take a look at it. It drives me crazy. It works with all the other OS and browsers, except Mac Chrome. Please take ‘mercy’ on me and help me solve the problem.
Hi Kriesi,
thanks so much for the great theme!
I cannot seem to figure out how to remove the blank space (seems to be double the height of the header) between menu bar and breadcrumbs bar in all of my posts. The forum topics I checked did not help either, so I would be grateful for a hint.
Looking at another post, this might be relevant?
@media only screen and (max-width: 800px) {
.av-image-caption-overlay-center {font-size:0.4em !important}
}The problem only seems to occur on the posts, which have a non-transparent header. All other pages have transparency in the header and the problem doesn’t occur there.
Thanks a lot!
MeikeSince my original issues were mostly solved, I am making a new thread, the previous conversation with the mod was here:
https://kriesi.at/support/topic/cls-content-layout-shift-troubleshooting-help-please/For the past 2 weeks I’ve been struggling with Pagespeed. I installed AMP and it loaded fantastic, but then I lost almost all visitors. Disabling AMP has been an awful experience but it wasn’t until I lost viewers that I started looking into the issues of AMP. If you find this by searching, STAY AWAY FROM AMP! I was making steady gains on both visitors and Adsense revenue and both have dropped to almost nothing. I had AMP set up correctly.
So today, as I type this, I’m able to get my mobile score to 85 (entirely with Enfold + Litespeed), which results in a lot of “minor” issues showing up, and one of them is:
Avoid non-composited animations (14 animated elements found)
Animations which are not composited can be janky and increase CLS.I did a search for Enfold + Avoid non-composited animations and found this page:
Which gave me a code to disable all animations on one page, so I tried that on just the home page (the page I’m testing on Pagespeed), and that took me from 14 to 11 animations. I’ll show a couple of the examples below, but first, I want to mention that two of the main errors still causing trouble on mobile is Remove Unused CSS, and Minimize Main-thread Work.
1 (this is the search icon in the header):
<div class=”avia-menu av-main-nav-wrap av_menu_icon_beside”>Unsupported CSS Property: border-bottom-color
Unsupported CSS Property: border-left-color
Unsupported CSS Property: border-right-color
Unsupported CSS Property: border-top-color2 (all the fields in the widget mainchimp signup form):
<input name=”avia_1_1″ class=”text_input ” type=”text” id=”avia_1_1″ value=”” placeholder=”First Name”>
Unsupported CSS Property: color
Unsupported CSS Property: border-bottom-color
Unsupported CSS Property: border-bottom-left-radius
Unsupported CSS Property: border-bottom-right-radius
Unsupported CSS Property: font-size
Unsupported CSS Property: border-bottom-width
Unsupported CSS Property: padding-bottom
Unsupported CSS Property: padding-left
Unsupported CSS Property: padding-right
Unsupported CSS Property: padding-top
Unsupported CSS Property: margin-bottom
Unsupported CSS Property: margin-left
Unsupported CSS Property: border-left-color
Unsupported CSS Property: margin-top
Unsupported CSS Property: border-left-width
Unsupported CSS Property: border-right-color
Unsupported CSS Property: border-right-width
Unsupported CSS Property: border-top-color
Unsupported CSS Property: border-top-left-radius
Unsupported CSS Property: border-top-right-radius
Unsupported CSS Property: border-top-width
Unsupported CSS Property: background-color
Unsupported CSS Property: margin-rightAnd so on – it appears that these elements in the design are pulling css that doesn’t need to be pulled, or doing it incorrectly, and that’s causing the layout shift AND “Remove Unused CSS”.
This is something the developers are going to have to deal with, I’m not will to copy ALL CSS to my child theme and spend hours fixing it. That said, I’m sitting at 85 mobile and 90 desktop and I’m not done yet, so I can’t complain. GTMetrix is perfect all across.
Hi There,
I took some screenshots you can see here: https://www.webdesign-phoenix.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/04/screensizes.pdf because the site is not live yet. I am hoping you can help me set up some CSS so the text stays centered when the screen gets bigger or smaller.
I cant figure out how to do the media only edits so the text changes font sizes or disappears or gets a different distance to the top.
Thanks so much
MartinaHi,
I’m working with enfold 4.8.1. and “Shop Demo” imported.
For exemple, if I insert the “Tab” element in a page, it’s coming with some code in the “Tab Content”, in white color, like
“<p>[av_tab_container initial='1' position='top_tab' boxed='border_tabs' av-desktop-hide='' av-medium-hide='' av-small-hide='' av-mini-hide='' alb_description='' id='' custom_class='' template_class='' av_uid='av-9my2' sc_version='1.0']<br />[av_tab title='Tab 1' av_uid='av-6yji'][/av_tab]<br />[av_tab title='Tab 2' av_uid='av-4t2c'][/av_tab]<br />[/av_tab_container][av_textblock size='' av-medium-font-size='' av-small-font-size='' av-mini-font-size='' font_color='' color='' av-desktop-hide='' av-medium-hide='' av-small-hide='' av-mini-hide='' id='' custom_class='' template_class='' av_uid='av-3v26' sc_version='1.0']<br />This is an example page. It’s different from a blog post because it will stay in one place and will show up in your site navigation (in most themes). Most people start with an About page that introduces them to potential site visitors. It might say something like this:…or something like this:As a new WordPress user, you should go to your dashboard to delete this page and create new pages for your content. Have fun!<br />[/av_textblock]</p>”
If I delete this code, it remains again.
The same happens when I insert a “Text Block”, I get this code, which I can’t clean:

I need to use the Elements (tabs, tex block, etc), Any suggestions would be great!
Thanks in advance.
JoanHi there,
in the Portfolio Entry tab content text, I am using icons. To make one icon (\ue8bc) bigger, I have added CSS as follows:.home [data-av_icon]:before{
color:#777777!important;
}
.home .av_font_icon .av-icon-char{
border-color:#777777!important;
background:#777777!important;
}
span.av-icon-char {
font-size:20px !important;
line-height:16px !important;
}
.av_font_icon.avia-icon-animate {
color:#777777 !important;
opacity:1 !important;
}
.icon-square-sub{
display:inline !important;
}Now, I think this CSS will change all icons.
What if I want a different size for another icon (\ue81e)?
If I try it directly in the tab content text like[av_font_icon icon='ue81e' font='entypo-fontello' style='' caption='' size='10px' position='left' color='' link='' linktarget='' animation='' id='' custom_class='' av_uid='av-1qa5t' admin_preview_bg=''][/av_font_icon]
then the CSS will override the 10 px size.
How can I make icon sizes different for each icon, please?
Thanks in advance,

Normaly the “Tab Content” is empty, like in other enfold webs. Do you know how can I get a “clean Tab element”?
Thanks in advance!
JoanHi,
Dieser Quelltext ist bereits drin:#menu-item-1779 .avia-menu-text, #menu-item-1780 .avia-menu-text {
font-size: 30px;
}
#menu-item-1779 .avia-menu-fx, #menu-item-1780 .avia-menu-fx {
display: none;
}
#menu-item-1779 a:hover {
background-color: #a67658;
}
#menu-item-1780 a:hover {
background-color: #37589b;
}Aber wenn ich jetzt noch den LinkedIn hinzufügen möchte, weiß ich leider nicht, wie ich die dazugehörige menu-item Nummer finden soll.
Wäre schön, wenn ihr mir da nochmal helfen könntet.
Vielen Dank Alex
