    Hi,
    Thank you for your patience I changed this css:

    @media only screen and (min-width: 990px) {
        .av-logo-container .inner-container {
            display: flex;
            flex-direction: row-reverse;
        }

        @media only screen and (min-width: 990px) {
            /* Add your Desktop Styles here */ .av-logo-container .inner-container .widget #searchform {
                width: 100%;
                min-width: 500px;
            }
        }

        .av-logo-container .inner-container .widget {
            display: flex;
            order: 3;
            flex-basis: 80%;
            right: -15%;
            top: -5%;
        }

        #header_main > .widget {
            display: none;
        }

        .av-logo-container .inner-container .widget #searchform {
            width: 100%;
        }

        .av-logo-container .inner-container .widget #searchform .ajax_search_response {

    to update your live site copy your snippet named “header widget placement css” to your live site.

    Hi,

    The reason why the CSS is only applying on mobile is because you have placed it after an open media query:

    @media only screen and (max-width:767px) {
      #top #wrap_all .av-burger-overlay .av-burger-overlay-scroll #av-burger-menu-ul li a {
        font-size: 20px;
        color: white !important;
    }

    I added the CSS at the top for you, and it’s working as expected. Please review your site and close the media query at the proper location.

    Best regards,
    Rikard

    Hi,

    Thanks for the clarification. Please try this instead:

    @media only screen and (max-width: 767px) {
      #top #wrap_all .av-burger-overlay .av-burger-overlay-scroll #av-burger-menu-ul .current-menu-item {
        background: red;
      }
      #top #wrap_all .av-burger-overlay .av-burger-overlay-scroll #av-burger-menu-ul li a:active,  #top #wrap_all .av-burger-overlay .av-burger-overlay-scroll #av-burger-menu-ul li a:focus  {
        font-size: 20px;
        color: yellow !important;
      }
    }

        background: red;

    Hi, I guess my custom css produces a glitch on mobile: The underlined font is not displayed properly and the cookie banner appears misplaced (at the far bottom of the page).
    On Desktop everthing looks great. Can you help me please?

    This is my custom css:

    /* Header mobile */
    @media only screen and (max-width: 767px) {
      .responsive #top #wrap_all #header {

    Hello,

    In the Private Content section, we are providing two links, one which in the smartphone version shows body text without the fold/unfold feature turned on, and the other with that feature turned on. That second page version includes the word “defect” in the link. You will see that in the second version, the page does not set up correctly; the right side of the body text extends beyond the limits of the screen.. We have tried making text font size smaller but that does not solve the problem.

    NOTE: The fold/unfold feature works fine on laptop/desktop screens.

    Please let us know if this can be fixed without quick css; the goal here is to make sure that the “Read More” text works on smartphones with different screen sizes, not just one size.

    Let us know if screenshots will help; not sure how to send them here.

    Thanks,

    Cliff

    I’m just not looking through in my css anymore. I’m afraid to make it worse
    Can you please help me?

    Hi,
    Thanks Guenni007, your transfer_fontsize_to_backgroundsize script is a nice touch :)

    Best regards,
    Mike

    I would upload an unspectacular iconfont. Here I have inverted numbers. Link

    Then upload your coloured icons and make a note of the path for each icon.
    now replace an icon of this font with the noted links of your coloured icons

    this comes to your quick css:

    .av_font_icon {
        overflow: visible !important;
    }

    [data-av_iconfont="solar-icons"]  {
      content: " ";
      background-size: 100px;
      background-position: center center;
      background-repeat: no-repeat;
      border: none !important;
      color: transparent !important;
    }

    [data-av_iconfont="solar-icons"][data-av_icon="\e800"]{background-image: url(/wp-content/uploads/globe.gif) !important}
    [data-av_iconfont="solar-icons"][data-av_icon="\e801"]{background-image: url(/wp-content/uploads/broken-spheres.svg) !important}
    [data-av_iconfont="solar-icons"][data-av_icon="\e802"]{background-image: url(/wp-content/uploads/bubbles.svg) !important}
    [data-av_iconfont="solar-icons"][data-av_icon="\e803"]{background-image: url(/wp-content/uploads/chrome-balls.svg) !important}
    [data-av_iconfont="solar-icons"][data-av_icon="\e804"]{background-image: url(/wp-content/uploads/film.svg) !important}
    [data-av_iconfont="solar-icons"][data-av_icon="\e805"]{background-image: url(/wp-content/uploads/glas-dots.svg) !important}
    [data-av_iconfont="solar-icons"][data-av_icon="\e806"]{background-image: url(/wp-content/uploads/glas-waben.svg) !important}
    [data-av_iconfont="solar-icons"][data-av_icon="\e807"]{background-image: url(/wp-content/uploads/green-world.svg) !important}
    [data-av_iconfont="solar-icons"][data-av_icon="\e808"]{background-image: url(/wp-content/uploads/home.svg) !important}
    [data-av_iconfont="solar-icons"][data-av_icon="\e809"]{background-image: url(/wp-content/uploads/hui.svg) !important}
    [data-av_iconfont="solar-icons"][data-av_icon="\e80a"]{background-image: url(/wp-content/uploads/lotus.svg) !important}
    [data-av_iconfont="solar-icons"][data-av_icon="\e80b"]{background-image: url(/wp-content/uploads/nachhaltig1.svg) !important}

    Now – if you place your circled number 1 – you can see even in preview – the replaced colored icon:
    And – yes even animated gifs can be inserted:

    see replaced first icon : https://webers-testseite.de/abc/

    PS: on that page with the snippets – you can see that i use the elements sizes for the icons – to generate the background-size :
    https://enfold.webers-webdesign.de/colorized-font-icons/

    if you like to use that too – remove from css code above the background-size line

    function transfer_fontsize_to_backgroundsize(){
    ?>
    <script>
    window.addEventListener("DOMContentLoaded", function () {
    (function($) {
    	$('.av-icon-char[data-av_iconfont="solar-icons"], .iconbox_icon[data-av_iconfont="solar-icons"]').each(function() {
    		var iconLineHeight = parseInt($(this).css('line-height'));
    		var iconPadding = parseInt($(this).css('padding'));
    		$(this).css('background-size', (iconLineHeight + 2*(iconPadding))+'px');
    	});
    })(jQuery);
    });
    </script>
    <?php
    }
    add_action('wp_footer', 'transfer_fontsize_to_backgroundsize');

    Hi,
    This thread covers a couple of different methods and I think that it might be confusing.
    So if you want to use color icons, then you would use Guenni007’s example, the easiest path is to upload the png images to your media library and then for each one choose a existing theme icon that you would probably never use as a placeholder, for example the keyboard ( ue83a ):
    Enfold Support 5667
    and then use this css to replace it with your image:

    [data-av_iconfont="entypo-fontello"][data-av_icon="\e83a"]:before{font-size:0;width: 40px;display: inline-block;background-image: url(/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/tree.svg) !important}

    now whenever you use the keyboard icon on your site your new image will show:
    Enfold Support 5670
    If you want to use B&W icons you can take the B&W PNG images and convert them to SVG, then follow Guenni007’s steps to fix them for Fontello then upload the SVG to Fontello to create your icon font:
    Enfold Support 5672
    then download the new icon font zip file and upload it to Enfold Theme Options ▸ Import/Export ▸ Iconfont Manager and then they will show in your icon list.

    Best regards,
    Mike

    In reply to: Full page overlay menu

    Hi,

    Thank you for the inquiry.

    1.) You can adjust the style of the burger menu items in the Enfold > Advanced Styling panel. Look for the element under the Main Menu (Icon) section. You can also use this css code:

    .html_av-overlay-full #top #wrap_all #av-burger-menu-ul li {
        line-height: 1em;
        font-size: 2em;
    }

    Please make sure to toggle the Enfold > File Compression settings and purge the cache.

    2.) Add this script to the functions.php file to make the close icon fade out on scroll down and fade in again on scroll up.

    function ava_custom_script_fade_scroll()
    {
        ?>
        <script>
            (function ($)
            {
                $(document).ready(function () {
                    var lastScrollTop = 0;
                    var element = $('.av-hamburger.av-hamburger--spin.av-js-hamburger.av-inserted-main-menu.is-active');
                    $(window).scroll(function () {
                        var st = $(this).scrollTop();
                        if (st > lastScrollTop) {
                            element.fadeOut();
                        } else {
                            element.fadeIn();
                        }
                        lastScrollTop = st;
                    });
                });
            })(jQuery);
        </script>
        <?php
    }
    add_action('wp_footer', 'ava_custom_script_fade_scroll');

    Best regards,

    Hi,

    Thank you for the info.

    We adjusted the code in the Quick CSS field a bit. Please make sure to purge the cache before checking the page.

    Topic: Button CSS-class

    in forum Enfold

    Participant

    Hi support team,

    we want to customize a button.

    Using <button class=”mein-benutzerdefinierter-button”>Klick mich!</button> works fine but does not contain a link.
    Using Klick mich! contains the link but does not work.

    CSS-class we used is:
    /* neue CSS-Klasse für den benutzerdefinierten Button */
    .mein-benutzerdefinierter-button {
    /* Hintergrundfarbe */
    background-color: #7b8a5e;
    /* Textfarbe */
    color: #fff;
    /* Schriftgröße */
    font-size: 16px;
    /* Schriftart */
    font-family: Arial, sans-serif; /* Setze die Schriftart auf Arial, falls nicht verfügbar, auf die Standardschriftart der Gruppe sans-serif */
    /* Text in Großbuchstaben transformieren */
    text-transform: uppercase;
    /* Umrandung */
    border: 2px solid #7b8a5e; /* Setze die Umrandung auf die gleiche Farbe wie den Hintergrund */
    /* Padding (Innenabstand) */
    padding: 10px 20px;
    /* Runde Ecken */
    border-radius: 5px;
    /* Cursor-Stil */
    cursor: pointer;
    /* Textausrichtung */
    text-align: center;
    /* Textdekoration */
    text-decoration: none;
    /* Weitere Styles nach Bedarf */
    }

    /* Hovern */
    .mein-benutzerdefinierter-button:hover {
    background-color: red; /* Ändere die Hintergrundfarbe beim Hover-Effekt */
    }

    Can you see why this is not working?
    Thanks
    Tanja

    I guess this is the code for the slideshow button on desktop, isn’t it?

    @media only screen and (max-width: 450px) {
    .slideshow_inner_caption {
    	top: -40px;
    }
    }
    @media only screen and (min-width: 768px) {
    #top .caption_bottom .slideshow_caption .slideshow_inner_caption {
        position: relative;
        text-align: center;
    }
    #top .slideshow_inner_caption .avia-slideshow-button.avia-button {
        width: 500px;
        height: 56px;
        font-size: 22px;
    }
    @media only screen and (min-width: 768px) {
    .slideshow_inner_caption {
    	top: -125px;
    }
    }
    #top #wrap_all .slideshow_inner_caption .avia-slideshow-button.avia-button {
        background-color: #a37652;
        color: white;
        border-radius: 10px;
    }
    #top #wrap_all .slideshow_inner_caption .avia-slideshow-button.avia-button:hover {
        background-color: #c79a52;
        color: white;
        border-radius: 15px;
    }

    I would probably need it a second time for the second element?

    Hi,
    Try this CSS in your Enfold Theme Options ▸ General Styling ▸ Quick CSS field:

    header .menu .avia-menu-text {
        text-transform: uppercase;
    }

    it is the css from your file: https://jabonescalvo.com/c/themes/jabonescalvo/css/app.css perhaps you will want to add it to your staging site Quick CSS:

    /* TAG REDEF */
    body,
    h1, h2, h3, h4, h5 {
    	text-rendering: optimizelegibility;
    	-webkit-font-smoothing: antialiased;
    }

    /* ENFOLD REDEF */
    .av-special-heading .av-subheading { /*font-family: 'Playfair Display', serif;*/ }

    /* HEADER */
    header.av_header_transparency #header_meta .phone-info.with_nav span,
    header.av_header_transparency #header_meta .sub_menu a { /*color: #000 !important;*/ }
    header .menu .avia-menu-text { text-transform: uppercase; }

    /* HOME */
    #home_slider img { margin-right: 50px; }

    /* BREADCRUMBS */
    .rank-math-breadcrumb { font-size: 14px; }

    /* PAGINAS */
    #cabecera_pagina .content { padding-bottom: 15px; }
    #cabecera_pagina .avia_textblock { text-decoration: underline; }

    /* BARRA LATERAL PAGINAS */
    aside .widget_text {
    	/*background: url(); */
    	padding: 20px;
    }

    /* CATEGORIES */
    .slide-meta { display: none; }

    /* POST */

    /* CONTACT */

    /* LANDINGS */
    body.page-landing-base .av_font_icon,
    body.page-auditoria-web .av_font_icon { display: inline-block; }
    body.page-landing-base .av_font_icon a,
    body.page-auditoria-web .av_font_icon a { text-decoration: none !important; }

    /* FOOTER & SOCKET */
    #footer #text-4 { margin-bottom: 0; }
    #footer .avia_combo_widget { margin-top: 0; }
    .cookie-notice-container a {
    	color: #fff; border: 1px solid #eaeaea;
    	padding: 3px 5px;
    	border: 1px solid #eaeaea;
    }

    /* MQs */
    @media only screen and (max-width: 767px) {
    	h1 { font-size: 32px !important; }
    	h2 { font-size: 28px !important; }
    }

    Best regards,
    Mike

    thanks – with

    function my_vars_outputs( $output ){
      $output .= "--my-variable-font-size-theme-h3: min(max(18px, calc(1.125rem + ((1vw - 3.2px) * 1.1864))), 32px); min-height: 0vw;\n";
      $output .= "--your-font-size-theme-h4: 20px;\n";
      return $output;
    }
    add_filter('avf_dynamic_css_additional_vars', 'my_vars_outputs');

    it works – but with avf_dynamic_css_after_vars i can not see a change.

    Edit:
    This illustration may help you to better understand how to use it.

    function my_vars_outputs( $output ){
    $output .= "
      #myID {
            font-size: 28px;
      }
      .myClass {
            font-size: 20px;
      }
    ";
      return $output;
    }
    add_filter('avf_dynamic_css_after_vars', 'my_vars_outputs');

    Edit: – ok now i see – but what benefit has that after_vars ?

    Hey Guenter,

    The filters are in ..\enfold\css\dynamic-css.php line 129ff.

    ‘avf_dynamic_css_additional_vars’:

    Is located inside :root{ …. }
    Simply return additional vars (pseudo code only):

    function my-xxx( $output )
    {
    $output .= "--your-font-size-theme-h3: 20px;\n";
    $output .= "--your-font-size-theme-h4: 20px;\n";

    return $output;
    }

    ‘avf_dynamic_css_additional_vars’ is the same but outside any selectors. You are free to return anything you like – it must be valid CSS rules
    e.g. a media query with vars.

    Best regards,
    Günter

    if you like to have gradient fillings for icons on enfold you can use that background-clip: text

    on all icons:

    [data-av_icon]:before {
      background-size: 100% 100%;
      background: var(--wp--preset--gradient--cool-to-warm-spectrum);
      -webkit-background-clip: text;
      -webkit-text-fill-color: transparent;
    }

    as background you can use the existing css variable gradients – or any gradient you like.

    if you need to be more specific – than you had to use custom classes.

    #1441294

    Hi,
    To change the h1 font size on single posts try this css:

    #top.single-post #wrap_all .all_colors .post-entry h1.post-title.entry-title {
    	font-size: 20px;
    }

    I’m not sure what you mean by changing your image size, when you upload an image WordPress creates thumbnails of it to be used in different situations, often cropping your image, but for best results you should resize you image before you upload it, here is a free online resizer. If you need further help with this please open a new thread and explain in more detail including the sie you want the image to show and what size you are uploading.
    Please note that we ask that you create a new thread for each issue, this helps other users find solutions based on the opening subject line quicker and helps keep the thread length manageable and on topic for multiple mods to assist. Thank you for your understanding.

    Best regards,
    Mike

    well – the current code is more like my code, which remains valid even when changing the standards in Enfold (e.g. font-size, font-family, border-color, color (missing in your code) etc.). But this isn’t a competition.
    Because color is missing, the color is now #141827 instead of #474747 – and your current code applies to all h2 – not just those that are set via tribe events.
    However – the main thing is that it works.

    Hey Christian,
    Try adding this code to the end of your child theme functions.php file in Appearance ▸ Editor:

    function custom_script() { ?>
      <script>
    (function($) {
      $(function() {
        function replaceElementTag(targetSelector, newTagString) {
          $(targetSelector).each(function(){
            var newElem = $(newTagString, {html: $(this).html()});
            $.each(this.attributes, function() {
              newElem.attr(this.name, this.value);
            });
            $(this).replaceWith(newElem);
          });
        }
        replaceElementTag('.post-entry h2.post-title.entry-title ', '<h4></h4>');
      });
    }(jQuery));
    </script>
      <?php
    }
    add_action( 'wp_footer', 'custom_script', 99 );

    Please ensure to copy the code from the forum and not an email notification so the symbols are not converted.
    In the code change: <h4></h4> to suit. Note that this may not change the font size, if you also want to change the font size try this CSS in your Enfold Theme Options ▸ General Styling ▸ Quick CSS field:

    .html_elegant-blog #top .post-entry .post-title, .html_elegant-blog .avia-content-slider .slide-entry-title {
    	font-size: 20px;
    }

    and adjust to suit.
    If this doesn’t help please include the url to the page in question so we can take a closer look.

    Best regards,
    Mike

    Hi,
    To change the post h2 font size, try this CSS in your Enfold Theme Options ▸ General Styling ▸ Quick CSS field:

    #top #wrap_all .all_colors .post-entry h2.post-title.entry-title {
    	font-size: 20px;
    }

    adjust the font-size to suit.

    Best regards,
    Mike

    Hi,
    Perhaps try this CSS in your Enfold Theme Options ▸ General Styling ▸ Quick CSS field:

    #top #wrap_all .all_colors h2.tribe-events-widget-events-list__header-title {
    	font-size: 20px;
    	font-weight: 600;
    	font-family: "open sans";
    }

    After applying the css, please clear your browser cache and check.

    Best regards,
    Mike

    if you like to synchronize it with the other widget titles:

    #top #wrap_all .all_colors .sidebar .tribe-events h2 {
      font-family: var(--enfold-font-family-heading);
      font-size: var(--enfold-font-size-theme-h3);
      color: var(--enfold-main-color-heading);
      border-color: var(--enfold-main-color-border);
      font-weight: 600 !important;
      letter-spacing: 1px;
      border-style: solid;
      border-width: 1px !important;
      padding: 10px 0;
      border-left: none;
      border-right: none;
      margin-bottom: 15px;
    }

    if you have set in quick css ( or advanced styling) different attributes than the default ones (f.e. font-size) then you have to adjust it to your needs.

    Hi there
    i have an events calendar page using the plugin “Events Calendar” and I’m wanting to change the size of the widget title that appears on the sidebar:

    The title being “Upcoming Events” – how can I change this please.

    Cheers

    I noticed that link color is set in Theme options > General Settings > Primary Color.

    Unfortunately this changes text link color AND button color.

    I want my text link color to remain #00a2e8, how it’s set in theme options, but I want button text color to be different.

    If I’m using the button element of the page builder I can customize the color just fine.

    But I’m trying to add a button in a text widget in my blog sidebar using the shortcode:
    [av_button label='Try Programs' link='https://thedancedojo.com/product/free-trial/' link_target='' size='large' position='left' custom_bg='#FF9100' custom_font='#ffffff']

    The custom_bg color #FF9100 isn’t working and instead the default text link color that’s set in Theme options > General Settings > Primary Color is what displays.

    See blog page here: https://thedancedojo.com/blog/

    How can I set the custom background color of the button? Is a shortcode the only way?

    Thanks,
    Robin

    In reply to: Additional Icon Packs

    And now the profi tip:
    1( Go to Google Font – choose your font – download it. You will get a ttf font.
    2) Go to: Transfonter
    choose svg as font:

    download the converted font – unzip and pull out the svg you get.
    3) Go to fontello – drag & drop that svg to the “custom icons” field.
    4) choose your selected icons – name it and download that zip file –
    5) upload that to Enfold – Import/Export/…. Iconfont Manager
    ;)

    see here – done with montserrat-regualar:

    download here: https://webers-testseite.de/montserrat-numbers.zip

    PS: sometimes it might be neccessary to adjust the size of those font-icons.
    eg:

    html body [data-av_iconfont="montserrat-numbers"]::before {
      font-family: 'montserrat-numbers';
      position: absolute;
      left: 50%;
      top: 50%;
      font-size: 2em;
      transform: translate(-50%, -50%);
    }

    see: https://webers-testseite.de/montserrat-numbers-2/

    and – tip: you can combine more than one font-family in that upload.
