    Hey Verband2010,

    Thanks for the link and screenshot. So you want the two left ones to have the same font size as the two right ones currently have?

    Hi Mike,
    thanks for the reply.

    I do not know what’s happening with fonts. I do not know what is happening with code in general.
    Even now, I have deactivated the SG cache plugin, cleared the cache on my browser, cleared the cache on the hosting, removed the lines of code from the quick CSS, deleted completely the quick CSS from the other languages and still, the results on page are still seeing the deleted code.

    All I did yesterday was fine (but disappeared today) It seems that the new code works for a while then reverts to the old one (and the old one is what chrome keeps seeing even if hidden /* */

    The you one you have highlighted was hidden on my side and you could still see the old code. So, I put new code but the site still sees the old.

    UPDATE:
    Forget everything I said and read this UPDATE:
    Everything I do, every change I do on the quick CSS disappears. It just happened again, I saved the quick CSS with this new code
    /* Increase size of bold */
    strong, b
    {
    font-size: 18px;
    }

    10 minutes later I went back to the quick CSS and this part of code was not there anymore.

    I really need to solve this, it is a veeeeeeery bad issue.

    Please, help

    Hi,
    Sorry for the late reply, for the first screenshot, I believe this css is in your child theme styles.css or in the Quick CSS of another language. Some language plugins create a theme panel for each language.
    For your second screenshot, the font size for the H3 is barred because the text is in italics “em” tag (font-size: 100%;), which is in an H3 tag (19px), in this case “em” wins, but the font size is still 19px.
    Your third screenshot is not working because the css in the first issue is overriding:
    2019-08-18-184221
    But as I took this screenshot I noticed a roge */ please see the arrow pointing to it, and please check your css carefully, if you have more of these it could block out huge chunks of css.

    Best regards,
    Mike

    Hi Mike,
    unfortunately I am still having issues with the fonts.

    I have cleared the cache, even deactvated the SG cache plugin but still having the same issue.

    One hour ago and more I deleted some code but it still still there, hidden somewhere, despite it is not on the quick CSS anymore.

    See the code https://www.screencast.com/t/TJ1et3JhI coming from this page https://www.ninserviziogratuito.co.uk/preparare-colloquio-lavoro

    I have set the default sizes but still it makes very difficult as they do not work. Now for example a H3 header changed its behaviour suddenly and it is barred in the code. Why? https://www.screencast.com/t/ue6zCwo5Hl from the same page of above.

    Please tell me what I can do, I have wasted so much time on those default sizes.

    Even this https://www.screencast.com/t/1WJ509KilGt is not working, still overwritten but the first part of code you can see inspecting the page https://www.ninserviziogratuito.co.uk/preparare-colloquio-lavoro

    Thanks,
    Marco

    Hey dnweil,

    I’m not sure I understand your question, is it that you want all button fonts and sizes to be the same as your submit and subscribe buttons at the bottom of the page you linked to?

    Hello,

    So an odd thing. Our buttons are not appearing consistently in how they display fonts. Note the different font treatments on the home page provided here.

    Our preference is the larger font size and san serif font on the “Submit” button, over the smaller serif font that appears in buttons on the same page.

    Thank you!

    I cannot change the font size of the body of my website. The normal way to change it is not working. The typestyle will change but the size will not.. I imported the demo, Enfold Knowledgebase. I searched the world over for a setting in a hidden location and cannot find a thing. The normal setting does not work. I changed it to 20 and the type size does not change at all. Something somewhere is stopping it. I disabled all of the plugins and checked every setting. I just cant figure it out.

    I am a layperson so I cannot look at files. Can you please help? its set to 13 which is barely readable and I need to set it to 18 or 19.

    I don’t know how to create new login credentials if you need them without sending an email.

    Also, I just now noticed in the special heading box it will not let me set the subheading size of the type either.

    thank you in advance for a speedy response!!

    Topic: Font size on header

    Hello

    I have searched the topics, and tried some solutions from other topics, but without any luck.
    I need to change my headersize for my posts. On the computer there is nothing wrong with the header size on each post. But at the mobil the blogpost element is set to a grid with 2 colums.
    The problem is that the header is to wide on the mobil, and cross over the header next to it.

    Can you pleas help?

    Hi,

    That setting should apply to all your content which doesn’t have any other font size setting added to it, and it looks to be working on this content for instance:

    Keeping your website running smoothly and looking great amidst a world of software, device or browser updates.

    Hi,
    Thank you for the screenshot, this helps. The 40px you put in the text block element is for paragraph text, the H2 already has a font size assigned in the base.css and has more specificity than the size you entered there.
    If you used the special heading element with h2 picked as the heading you would have the 40px, or any size you wish on a per case basis, or if you added the “font-size” back into the css as before you would have all single post H2’s the same size.
    Or you could add a “span” font-size in the code view of the text block and have that one H2 40px.
    Please let us know if you would like to see an example of this.

    Best regards,
    Mike

    My client just messaged me and said he can’t get bullet points in text blocks to indent. This just started happening since the last update. If you hit the tab button on a bullet point, it shifts focus to the font size dropdown box instead of indenting the bullet. The manual indent buttons don’t work either. They do the same thing as hitting the tab key.

    If I create a new text block at the bottom of the page and paste the bulleted text into it, the tab key works correctly and the bullet is indented. But if I drag that text block into ANY column block, I’m unable to indent a bullet point.

    Additionally, if I make a copy of the text block with the bullets and move it out of the column block, it still doesn’t work. I’m unable to indent bullet points.
    As a work around, I told my client to copy and paste a bullet that’s at the correct indentation and change the text. That appears to work.

    Here’s a link to one of the pages, but none of them are working now:

    I also checked the source and there doesn’t appear to be any funky html in it. I removed the text-decoration tag, but that didn’t have an affect:

    I have theme default font set to 13px. When I increase it none of the content on the pages changes.
    I see that I can change it for specific content items but since they are all set to Default Size I figured it would change.
    How is this meant to function?

    I can’t see the code Jordan sent applying to your site, please try this at the very top of your Quick CSS box:

    Thanks for the clarification. Please try the following in Quick CSS under Enfold->General Styling:

    .avia-video .av-click-to-play-overlay .avia_playpause_icon {
        position: absolute;
        top: 50%;

    Hi,
    Glad to hear!
    Ok, so setting the H2 “manually”… I think we are thinking of two different things with the word “manually”, when I think of manually I think of setting the font size with css, but from your screenshot I see that you removed the font size from the css.
    So perhaps you mean that you want to set the font size in the advanced styling options page, or some other way that is not using the css? Is this correct?

    If not please explain.

    Best regards,
    Mike

    Hi,
    Thank you for the feedback, when I check your site I see the caption font is already Gilroy-Bold when inactive, so this css changes the inactive font and adds the hover font:

    #top .av-masonry:hover figcaption h3.av-masonry-entry-title {
        font-family: Gilroy-Bold !important;
    font-size: 16pt !important;
    }
    #top .av-masonry figcaption h3.av-masonry-entry-title {
        font-family: Gilroy-Semibold !important;
    font-size: 16pt !important;
    }

    But this makes the inactive font thinner, if you just wanted the font to be heavier on hover then try this css instead:

    #top .av-masonry:hover figcaption h3.av-masonry-entry-title {
        font-weight: bolder !important;
    font-size: 16pt !important;
    }

    Best regards,
    Mike

    Also, I tried changing the font size of the main menu links as well using the Advanced Styling, but those changes are not showing up either.
