Well, when I update the css and js files in the Layersilder folder I noticed they are they are all the same exact size, so I’m not sure they are different at all! I don’t get why it gets a 404 error message if the files are there in the folders. I cheked using filezilla (config-layerslider/LayerSlider/ right?). I still updated the files from the newest version of enfold both with js and css and it still doesn’t work! :S

Hey, I need some small things done on the website anyway. Would you be kind to fix the errors and do the small modifications for some money? Please give me your contact details so we can talk about it. Thanks!

in reply to: Layer Slider Errors #197621

When i go to the “Advanced Layout Editor”

    I get this: ALE

When I try to edit the Layerslider I get a blank preview:

    Screenshot

I do need the slider which I have edited with seprate image files on the costum theme based on Enfold.

in reply to: [LayerSliderWP] Slider not found #197595

    Gracias!!! :)

    Best way to fix it?

    Thanks! :)

in reply to: [LayerSliderWP] Slider not found #197576

Yes sorry, I changed themes. See, I hired a coder to modify the enfold theme and do costum content. So it seems most of the content of my website was done on another theme, including the CF7, yet the Layer Slider for my same homepage is located on the Enfold theme folder. However I fully updated the theme folder for Enfold and I still get this error message. If you go to my url /homepage now you will se the ““[LayerSliderWP] Slider not found” ” error message on the top. The contact form still takes me to /#wpcf7-f1708-p1707-o1 what does that url mean? I deactivated all plugins except a “Page.ly MultiEdit” as the CF7 seems to be inside of it and it still takes me to that weird url?

    Help Please
    Thanks!.

    What could be going wrong?

    Thanks!

in reply to: Layer Slider Errors #197238

Right, so I downloaded the theme again and updated the whole enfold folder. However when I go to mywebsite.com/homepage/ it says: [LayerSliderWP] Slider not found

OK, he says he indeed created a new “home-template.php” file.

in reply to: Layer Slider Errors #196556

In the mean time, for updating the theme what do I do? although he seems to have a created a new theme out of the enfold theme for my website so I’m not sure updating the enfold theme will do anything. Isn’t there a way to look at the slider code and see why it’s not working properly? thanks!

in reply to: Layer Slider Errors #196449

Great I’ll find out. If not, would it would not be hard to make right?

    Thanks!

in reply to: Layer Slider Errors #196411

Well the developer said he didn’t create a child theme because my site was a one page website and everything can be handled with the custom template he created for the theme. So what is the best way now to go about updating the theme whilst saving the changes?

    Thanks! :)

in reply to: Layer Slider Errors #196382

Ok I deactivated all the plugins but when I deactivated a “Page.ly Multiedit” plugin more than half the page dissapeared but I’m guessing the coder used it to create the website. Anyway, it didn’t work. The slider still isnt working, the contact form takes me to a weird url on my website: /#wpcf7-f1708-p1707-o1 and the coder has the same problem were when I go to the control panel it appears like this: /wp-content/uploads/2013/12/screenshot-145×1030.png

The theme version he used to modify and create the website is 1.3.1 Let me know if you would like access to anything in order to see files, or whatever.
    Thanks a lot!

Yes he fixed some things now, but the back to top botton is diferent like the speed is off, He says he couldn’t fix the slider problem. This is what he said: “I have made all the changes except the slider changes. Slider is not saving my changes maybe because of admin rights issue. I spend many hours solving this issue but i could not solve this. ”

All I changed was what I stated above added some google codes and deleted some demo content. What would you say is the best way to fix this? Maybe its the google authoship code I added which can be seen at the very botton. thanks!

in reply to: Layer Slider Errors #195819

Ok perfect! I will talk to him. Is it standard procedure to create a child theme? I did pay him 550 USD for the job! What do you think of the website anyway? Does it look like it’s worth it.

Anyway, I really appreciate your kind help. Thanks a lot Yigit! :)

Brilliant yeah well the thing is I don’t want this post to be indexed on google with a link to my website. Would you be kind enough to click on my username on any post in this thread? It will take you to my website. Thanks! :)

in reply to: Demo content has been Indexed #191195

Yeah well yes, I’d rather remove them but I’m just worried google will take that as a negative no? Thanks!

in reply to: Demo content has been Indexed #191194

Hey thanks Devin did you get my message on your website? Please let me know :)

in reply to: Demo content has been Indexed #191177

Thanks, will do…. just curios why it’s a bad idea to leave it there?

in reply to: Something's Wrong #128044

I’ve tried increasing it to 64, but it still doesnt show the content I want to modify. Why is this happening and why do you suggest increasing memory, I don’t understand, thanks!
