Br,
ZdenekGreat, thank you!
Last question: I have noticed, that on the Author page the links in the footer disappeared. I have tryied to test if the css cause it, but not, it behaves same even if I clear all the css.
It only happens on the Author page, not on other pages.
Screenshot: https://snipboard.io/lYtOu1.jpgCan you pls have a look on that?
Thank you,
ZdenekHi Guenni,
that´s perfect, thank you!One more question: I would like to have the Author name and the Author bio under the Author picture on the Mobile resolution only (<479).
See the screenshot here: https://snipboard.io/5eMcm8.jpgThank you!

ZdenekHi Rikard,
thanks for your response, I understand. I have thought it will not be easy/ possible to find some elegant solution, but I have tryied to ask :)No problem, I will solve it by adding more media queries.
Br,
ZdenekHi Yigit,
thanks for your fast response! I have created the staging copy of my site and updated it to the ver. 5.4.1 .. and I also can´t see the issue right now :-oI don´t know what happened, but it works. I apologize for the misunderstanding.
Thanks for your help and you can close the threat.
Br,
ZdenekHi Rikard,
thank you for your css code update, it works, but only on the screensize smaller than 369px … between 370px and 767px there is too big gap between the title and breadcrumbs (when the title is in one row); see here: https://snipboard.io/WAfjCI.jpgYour css solution also depends a lot on how long the Title is. The behavior I describe above applies to the article https://blog.mtsakademie.cz/hubnuti/jak-co-nejrychleji-a-efektivne-zhubnout/
.. but if I check it in another one (https://blog.mtsakademie.cz/cviceni/hledate-skvele-cviceni-v-praze-13/), it behaves a bit different => The title and breadcrumbs go in two rows in a different screensize (logically) and this css solution does not cover different cases of title or breadcrumbs lenght.Just for a wider explanation:
I understand css coding (I am not a professional coder, but lets say a very skilled amateur 😊) and I have tryied several css combinations including „margins“ etc. to achieve this.The problem is, that the Title and breadcrumbs are wrapped in the same „Title container“ and they are infuenced each other by the css line-height. So if you change the line-height in the Title, it also influence the breadcumbs => the gap between the Title and the breadcrumbs increases (in the case the Title is in one row).
If I try to change the line-height also for the breadcrumbs, a lot of other style problems arise there.
Of course I can adjust the css code for each article and also for each screensize separately, but that´s not what I am looking for.
I am looking for a general solution which will work with all types of title and breadcrumbs lenght regardless of whether they are in one or two rows.Thanks a lot,

Hi Rikard,
thank you for your help, but it does not fit as I imagine.With your css code, the Title line heigh is ok, but there is a problem with the breadcrumbs. On the same screensize (< 479px)
1. The breadcrums are too close to the Title see here: https://snipboard.io/84dV9P.jpg
2. and the ones are too far to the Title; see here: https://snipboard.io/Gby3Pz.jpgIt depends just on screensize. I have played with some css but I can´t find the right way how to do it.
Thank you.
Br,
ZdenekHi Mike,
thank you for your information and sorry for my late response, I was on holiday.The difference between the two sites is that I have turned off all the plugins in the test page and switched into parent theme. So it will be probably caused by some plugin, I will have to test it.
Thank you and I will let you know after testing :)
Br,
ZdenekHi Ismael,
thanks a lot for updating the css code. Now it works.. and I understand it is not possible to also hide the comma, I am ok with it.Thank you and you can close the thread.
ZdenekHi Mike,
thank you for your update.I have cleared all the browser history, cash etc. and unfortunately I always see there the “white spaces”. I use Samsung Galaxy S7 Tablet.
If I use google chrome console, I see the same (it goes between 480px – 711px).. see here: https://snipboard.io/bRdWNo.jpg
Odd thing but still there.
Thank you for your help.
Br,
ZdenekHi Mike,
that´s exactly what I need!Thanks a lot for your support and you can close the threat.
Br,
ZdenekHi Yigit,
thank you for the update. I looked at the page on a real Tablet device and I still see there the white spaces, so it looks the css code does not work :(See here: https://snipboard.io/O0hfvo.jpg
Any other idea?
Br,
ZdenekHi Ismael,
sorry, but it still does not work :( It seems like it is working on the test web, but that´s just because I disabled the folders plugin yesterday – I tryied to test something.I again asked a server support, but there is nothing what could cause the issue. And if any other css works fine, there must be wrong something else.
SO, I have prepared for you absolutely clean wordpress instalation. Using just clean Enfold theme (no child) without any setting. And I installed just the Folders plugin. Nothing else.
And I have tryied your css code. And it does not work!
So the issue must be either in the css code or in the theme => some confict between the enfold theme and the folders plugin.
The folders plugin support told me, that they use portfolio custom post types, so cannot it be somewhere there? I don´t know, just tell you what message I have recieved.Check here: https://test.mtsakademie.cz/portfolio-item/mts-hubnuti-chuzi/

Hi Ismael,
thank you for your response. I have tryied everything: turned off all the plugins, custom css and php and it still does not work. I have also discussed that with my server support, but there is no special cash which could cause it.
But we see the same behavior as you described; if we put the css code into the google inspector, it works.So I did a test:
In my test page I turned of all the plugins including folders plugin, customizations and switch into parent theme. And I tryied to hide the portfolio category link (https://testweb.mtsakademie.cz/kategorie-sluzeb/lekce-a-kurzy/) by your css code.span.av-post-metadata-category-link a[href="https://mtsakademie.cz/kategorie-sluzeb/lekce-a-kurzy/"] {display: none !important;}
And it also does not work.
So I have tryied another test:
If I exclude from the css this part
[href="https://mtsakademie.cz/kategorie-sluzeb/lekce-a-kurzy/"]
, the css (span.av-post-metadata-category-link a {display: none !important;}
) works correctly!It does not work with this part:
[href="https://mtsakademie.cz/kategorie-sluzeb/lekce-a-kurzy/"]

Waiting for your answer.

Hi Mike,
yes, that´s it! I can´t believe I forgot about such a simple thing :)Thanks a lot for your help and you can close this threat.
Zdenek
Hi Mike,
thank you for your response! I have finaly found out where the “issue” is! But just with the blog web, not with the woocommerce web.You are right that with the parent theme it is displayed right.
So I removed everything what is customized (php, css, jQuery with sticky function…) in the child theme. Nothing happened, the breadcrums were still displayed wrong.So I started thinking that it must be somewhere in the child theme settings. And I was right :)
The issue comes when you don´t have set up a page for the blog in the child theme; Theme options => Where do you want to display the blog
If I set up to any page, the issue disappeared.
———-
I have tryied to do the same in my woocommerce web (that´s why I have started this thread), but this solution is not working there. But maybe it gives you a way, where the issue is comming from.Br,
ZdenekHi Ismael,
perfect, thanks for the tip, I’m going to learn it ;)You can close the thread.
ZdenekHi there,
any update on this?
Br,
ZdenekHi Guenni,
yes, I have the same problem on my woocommerce web as I described above.Hi Mike,
I am building a new blog web (another subdomain) and I have there almost the same issue as I described above.
See the screenshot: https://ctrlv.cz/bdyjMaybe it will help the Enfold team to find the issue. If not, can you give me a css code to hide the breadcrumb after “home”?
If you would like to look at the back-end, the Credentials in the Private Content.
I am sorry, you can find it in the Private Content.
Br,
ZdenekOr use this css code to specifically hide the Výživa a Hubnutí link.
span.av-post-metadata-category-link a[href=”https://mtsakademie.cz/?taxonomy=portfolio_folder&term=vyziva-a-hubnuti-1673934823-1″%5D {
display: none;
}That´s what I exactly need, but the code unfortunately does not work. I have also tryied to put there “!important” and also disabled CSS file merging in the theme Performance. Nothing helped.
I also always clear and purge the cash.Zdenek
Hi Rikard,
this is the same problem, but it was not solved yet.Please keep this thread opened I am still waiting for a solution.
Br,
ZdenekHi Ismael,
2) perfect, thank you

ZdenekUpdate:
I have moved the web to a test page, because the css code also makes an issue in the footer, so I can´t have it in the live site.
