Hi there,
still TEC’s updated calendar design is not displayed properly with ENFOLD. Whereas switiching back to a default theme does not cause problems with TEC whichs leads me to the conculsion that there is still some integration work needed from the ENFOLD developers.
Said this TEC announced that the legacy views won’t work anymore after August 3rd 2021 (https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/k/enabling-updated-calendar-views/). I really would highly appreciate to see a working integration of ENFOLD with TEC before that date to make sure the websites are running fine.
Any idea when this will be the case?

Same issue here. All Updates are made. PlugIns deactivated did not help. Any suggestion where this “TinyMCE” comes from?
After a long conversation with the TEC-support it came more and more evident that the promised “Events Calendar and Events Calendar Pro Integration” is not working with Enfold.
Enfold does not take into account any of the customized folders and files whereas a switch to a standard theme with the excact same customisation works perfectly.
Is there a chance for a properly working TEC-integration in the next future? I’m happy to share the insights from my support request to TEC with you if this helps to get this done.

ok, I found the solution to solve this:

What worked for me (using TEC Pro) is a folder in the child theme called /tribe-events/ and copy default-template.php inside.
Unfortunately the category and organiser view are still not looking good. Are there specific ENFOLD files to place into the child theme. Or do I have to customize them by myself?

yuI did already ask exactly this because I had the same idea about temporary files and cache interfering with the changes made on the site. I also asked the client if I could take a look with TeamViewer as I think it might be caused by the personal settings of the browser and/or not correct deleted cache. Unfortunately my client is not cooperative and not willing to test anything anymore.
We already tried different things as running a copy of the installation on another server, making a completly new installation on a subdomain, and another copy on a subdomain but without SSL. The only thing that worked was deactivating SSL, so the client wants me to to this now on the main domain.
But if the cache is the problem the main domain – with or without SSL – will probably still cause errors as somethings seems to be stuck there.
Is there anything I can do using the settings of Enfold (as said not sure which are the best settings of “optimization”)? Like deleting the cache via the Enfold-settings or a plugin and reloading the whole page as if it was new?

danke dir für den Hinweis. Habe alle PlugIns nach und nach wieder aktiviert. Contact Form in der neuesten Version hat dieses Mal keine Probleme gemacht.
Dafür hat sich die Seite beim Plugin “Autoptimize” aufgehängt. Bedeutet das, dass ich dieses Plugin mit eurem Therme nicht verwenden kann?

Die Seite ist live, daher kann ich den Fehler gerade nicht nachstellen und es sollte auch sonst nichts herumgetestet werden. Falls ihr aber im Code nach möglichen Ursachen suchen wollt, Infos anbei.

ich habe dasselbe Problem – Contact Form 7 in seiner aktuellen Version (4.5) macht Probleme und lässt Elemente “verschwinden”. Deswegen nutze ich das Plugin nun in der älteren Version (4.4.2) und es klappt alles. Auf Dauer ist das aber keine Lösung, dass ich das Plugin nie wieder aktualisieren kann.
Von daher die Frage: Wird es einen Fix geben?
Ebenfalls mysteriös: Ich nutze Enfold und Contact Form 7 auf verschiedenen Webseiten. Und nur auf einer Webseite taucht das Problem auf…

perfect, now we are talking about the same thing :) I tried your suggestion but exactly the opposite of what I need happened: Instead of having the avatar image on every post format, I get no avatar image at all but only icons….

as mentioned before the gravatar image exists, I can see it in every standard post.
But it’s true, I don’t use gravatar accounts, but a plugin –> Simple Local Avatars. To make sure the issue is not caused by the plugin I added a author with a real gravatar account and added two posts to it, one video, one standard. See link in private content.

The authors do all have gravatars. I can see them when I switch the post format from video/gallery etc. to standard.
The gravatars are just replaced by icons when I don’t use STANDARD posts. Where can I stop this logic to happen?
