Hi Devin
How can I do that, including the Facebook JavaScript? I never had to do that before, the widgets just worked. They do on another site that uses Enfold.
Thanks,
Ying-FuHi,
That’s right. I put the appropriate CSS-code in custom.css of the Enfold theme instead of the custom.css in the Enfold child theme. It works but it is rather strange that so many adjustments don’t seem to work in the Quick CSS of the cild theme.
Hm, just added some css to the custom.css file in the mother theme (I use a child theme). That shouldn’t be the case, should it? When using a child theme the custom.css I should us would be the one in the child theme folder?
Confused
You guys rock!
Thanks!

Tried what you said but the homepage won’t change one bit.
Hi Ismael,
That doesn’t work alas. At least not on the homepage.
Hi Devin,
Thanks for the workaround!

I gather this can only be done for the whole slider?

Thanks Ismael,
You’re a life saver!
Hi Formateins, Devin,
I do use a child theme as per instructions of the Enfold child theme video. In my ftp console the style.css is there though it is empty. My custom css is inserted in Theme Options and all are picked from the support forum. The last one though I found myself and it did the job. Though I hadn’t tampered with it it read:
margin-right: -50px;
and that caused the color section to not align correctly on sidebar pages.
Anyway, thanks for thinking with me.
Fixed it with this:
.sidebar_left .content {
border-left-style: solid;
border-left-width: 1px;
border-right: medium none;
float: right;
margin-left: -1px;
margin-right: 0;
padding-left: 50px;
}
Yes, but can see at my site how it is not working like a charm?
Too bad I can’t post screenshots that would clarify the differences in alignment as I can’t otherwise make it clear that there really is a difference.
The difference between the two pages is rather apparent I think: on http://lavitasana.oscar.nl/sports/fitness/ the image of the color section is aligned at the outer bounds of the container, whereas on http://lavitasana.oscar.nl/sports/bedrijfsfitness/ the image is aligned as it should be, with some padding between it and the container bounds. And yes, I have used columns on both pages. As it is the first is a page with sidebar, the other is full width so hence my question remains: how can I adjust the color section on a page with sidebar so it aligns as it would on a full width page?
Still having the alignment issue.
Thanks Devin, works like a charm!
Yes, I know it’s intended for pages full width. But, when I use it on a page with a sidebar the alignment is off.
Compare this page – http://lavitasana.oscar.nl/sports/fitness/ – to this page – http://lavitasana.oscar.nl/sports/bedrijfsfitness/
So my question remains: how can I fix color section so it aligns properly on a page with a sidebar?
The header I use is Fixed Header with Social Icons and additional Navigation
I found out what was the problem and that’s too bad actually. It turned out the color section’s alignment gets messed up when using a page with sidebars.
Hopefully one of the support members knows a fix for this.
What background image do you mean? I don’t use one. It’s just that with the picture on the left and the text on the right, the text gets very close to the edge of the box. That’s my point: I used a color section and added two 1/2 columns in it but they don’t align right.
Hi,
With left align I mean that the dropdown menu aligns with the parent menu ‘name’ so another question then would be: how can get the parent menu names to align left?
And I don’t really want to hide that line/extended arrow as much as I want to change it i.e. replace it with a custom line. Is that possible?
The caption title bit doesn’t work, the caption content does.
You rock! Thanks!
Hi Ismael,
I mean padding on the upper of the two advertisements. Now when using the full width there is no space between them: http://lavitasana.oscar.nl/specials/fitness-for-kids/
Another question related to this. When a page from the main menu is selected underneath the selected menu page appears that line with a little point on it (an extended arrow). Where can I change that line? In itself it doesn’t bother me but it is too typical for Enfold when using the theme for more than one client.
Thanks,
Ying-Fu
Ah, found out how it worked. One other question though: with these codes the advertisements are stacked on each other with no white space. Is there some padding I can add? I can get them ‘off’ each other by lowering the width % but then the advertisements align too much to the left.
Anyone?
Thanks. But it is not possible to have one advertisement instead of two next to each other then?
