No, we have not altered the header or footer PHP file
Under Appearance > Widgets I get this error:
The “avia_fb_likebox” block was affected by errors and may not function properly. Check the developer tools for more details.
Error notice
The “newsbox” block was affected by errors and may not function properly. Check the developer tools for more details.I have worked with Enfold, Avada, and Divi. I find Enfold Avia builder the easiest to work with. I have working with Avada, and don’t like how their container blocks are laid out. Divi is coming along nicely and lots of cool feature and live support as well, which is important for designers. It feels like Enfold development has slowed down a bit. Are there any big updates for 2022?
September 16, 2021 at 8:41 pm in reply to: Footer Widgets with custom HTML keep resetting and reverting #1321282I wonder if it could be the WordFence plugin. It was causing some issues with the Avia editor on my home page as well?
September 16, 2021 at 8:38 pm in reply to: Footer Widgets with custom HTML keep resetting and reverting #1321281Hi Rikard,
No worries I have all the content saved. I have narrowed it down to the code containing the span tags.
So if I just paste the content on the first widget column, everything is fine and nothing gets blown out.
If then add the contact column information minus the span tags with the icon code, everything works fine.
As soon as I pasted in the span code with the social media icons, everything gets blown out.
I am really curious to find out why that HTML code with the social media buttons causes the widgets in the first two columns to get blown out?September 2, 2021 at 7:19 pm in reply to: Footer Widgets with custom HTML keep resetting and reverting #1319546Hi Rikard,
Yes, as soon as I try adding the icon code into the widget, everything seems fine, but then I check it again, and then the entire widget gets blown out.
I simply use the span tags that I copied from the icon widget source code.Eric

Again, from the testing that I did, it seemed that the moment i added the span tags with the icon buttons and saved that’s when things got blown out.
Thanks, that helped!
Thanks for your help
Hi Rikard,
Sorry, let me clarify. The hover state is on the desktop/responsive version, but it also happens on the button. So I am trying to isolate the button so that the hover state does not happen.
In terms of changing the font on the sub menu, I had to set the font for the main menu in the Quick CSS area because I had to add a Google font and it was not available in the dropdown under Advanced Settings. So not sure if that is also impeding the code that you provided from changing the sub-menu font.
/* set font for main menu because Google font is not available in dropdown */ .avia-menu-text { font-family: "Patua One" !important; letter-spacing: 2px !important; }
I have added some screenshots to provide more information and detail to my questions.
Thanks

Yes, updating to the latest version of Enfold fixed the issue for me. Thanks.
I just found this post that seems to indicate you Kriesi was fixing the problem with the next theme update. So I will make sure the theme is updated to the latest version and hopefully, that will take care of the issue. If it is all fixed and you can confirm that then I think we can close this question. Thanks

November 2, 2020 at 11:04 pm in reply to: Hamburger menu at 1024 px displaying on the far left #1257744Perfect, that did the trick. Thank you for your help.
Hi Victoria,
I have included a screenshot of what I am trying to achieve.
I don’t want the changes to affect the main menu, only the spacing and hovers on the mobile menu.I need to reduce the spacing between sub-menu items on mobile, and control the hover and active colors without affecting the main menu.
I am not 100% how the mobile menu sub-items ended up with so much spacing in the first place.
I hope this helps.
Thanks again for all your help.

Wow, I had no idea that was an option! OK that gives me everything that I need. Thank you very much!
Thanks that worked, but I posted the footer item in the wrong help item.
I am still looking for some assistance with configuring the mobile menu.
I typically use Google Chrome inspect feature to look at the code, but I find it hard to look at the mobile menu css this way. Not sure if I am missing anything, but is there a better way to inspect the CSS of the mobile dropdown menu? Thanks again for all your help.
Perfect. That worked! thank you for your help.
Thank you that worked perfectly. Much appreciated.
One last thing, how can I adust the margin on the icon so that it’s more centered vertically. It seems that as the icon gets larger it is still aligned with the bottom edge of the text. Thanks.
Hi Victoria, thanks for the quick reply. I have posted a private link for you to view. We are trying to add the “Call to Action” section to every page on the site. We could add a color section manually, but that seems like the hard way to do it. So we thought it would be nice to add it to the footer.php file or some other way that you or your team might recommend. Thanks.
