Hi, this code worked perfectly for us to disable all Enfold-generated images sizes, add to functions.php.
//disables Enfold generating multiple image sizes
function avia_backend_add_thumbnail_size() {}I have this exact question – please let us know if there is a way to select or stop all the different image sizes being generated, as it is making the disk space for our websites max out!
HI Victoria,
Thank you – I have added the code and it has fixed the issue.
You suggested adding the code to themes/enfold/css/custom.css.
Would it be best to add this to our Child Theme’s style.css? This is where I have added it.
Can you please confirm the best place to add our custom css in the future. The Enfold custom.css vs our Child Theme?
Thanks.
KevinApril 3, 2018 at 6:29 am in reply to: Enfold Instagram Widget not Working (Enfold 4.2.6, PHP 7.2) #936326Hi, it is not working for us since uploading the latest theme file available on ThemeForest. We still need to upload the class-framework-widgets.php file to make Instagram work.
Hi there, in addition to my last email, after replacing the old php file, the widgets are showing again, and Instagram is throwing up an error again …
Hi, no the Instagram still isn’t working. Disabling plugins didn;t help. Any other ideas?
Amazing – thank you :) Is there a way to make it appear above the cart totals on mobile?
Sure, link in the private data. This happens on quite a few sites. If you check it by resizing your browser you will see what I mean.
Hi Rikard,
Thanks – I looked through that suggested thread and some people tried with no success. So, I emailed my host first for them to check.
They got back in saying “There was however a ModSecurity rule being tripped up, which I have now whitelisted.”
So it seems to work not as the Advanced Editor is loading. Hopefully this will help others with the same issue if they email their host and ask them to specifically check the above ModSecurity rule to be able to pinpoint that. I’ve spent about two weeks troubleshooting this off and on so hopefully this will shorten that time for others. Glad to know it’s nothing to do with the theme :)sure see below
Hi Mike,
This did not work. The theme has been replace as per the Vimeo video.
Quite unbelievable really – Worpress is updated, Enfold is updated, there are NO plugins.
It’s a very simple site based on the Enfold demo import. Barely any additions to the child theme too.
Everything from your initial suggestion has been done.
What can I do – I need to implement updates to the site that I have not been able to for weeks now.
Thanks.Hi Mike.
Thanks.
In referencing your suggested link:
– The theme is up to date
– Cache is clear
– Have tried different browsers and computers
– There are no plugins
– What is the best way to overwrite theme files? Is this in the Enfold theme or my child theme? And what is the directory to copy then paste them to?
Thank You.Hi Victoria,
Thanks for the reference, but do you check your suggestions before you offer a solution?
This last comment on this thread was March 15, 2016 at 2:24 pm and there was no resolve to the problem.
Can you please have your developers look into this and offer a solution to the issue?
Thanks.
Yes, everything is up-to-date.
I have found, the images will stay ticket, and show the issue, but ‘comments’ has to be ticket in ‘Screen Options’ too. Can you please take a look?
Hi Rikard,
However, for some reason when looking at the posts page, the images are turned off. If I go back to Screen Options to tick “images” it does not remain ticked. So, if you log in, you may not be seeing what the initial issue was.
Can you enable the thumbnail images to show again (not sure why they are note) and you may see what the initial issue was.
Thanks
Ok sorry.
Hi Rikard,
I’m seeing this in Chrome and Firefox. -
