Sorry, I missed your reply earlier. In the meantime my client found another solution.
Thanks for the help again anyway!Works like a charm, thanks Vinay! :-)

Ah yes, they weren’t linked to the right parent pages, that was the issue. Thanks!
Welmoed
Hi Andy,
thanks for getting back to me so super quickly :-)
It can be seen on this page for example: http://www.vrijzinnigen.nl/over-ons/identiteit/
Thanks!

Ah yes I kept working on the website in the meantime, sorry. I now don’t have the colour section up anymore (as an image), but it would be on this website, and on the frontpage: http://www.welmoedverhagen.com
Thanks!

I now just used the fullwidth slider for the main image, so you won’t see the colour section I had earlier. But it would look similar, and then I’d love to have the ‘blocks’ to be ‘on’ the image, partly.Ahhhh I totally forgot about that…
Thanks, it’s fixed now :-) “phew”!I don’t know how to do that… I was going to ask how I should do it :-)
Thanks!
It seems that WordFence security is the ’cause’ of the issue. When that plugin is activated, I get the issue, when it’s deactivated, all works fine. It now also gives me this message after I click the “error fetching content” one away:
Background Request Blocked
A background request to WordPress was just blocked for the URL /wp-admin/admin-ajax.php. If this occurred as a result of an intentional action, you may consider whitelisting the request to allow it in the future.
Of course I’d like to continue using the WordFence plugin on my site, so what do I do now?

April 30, 2016 at 4:30 am in reply to: iFrame in Block when editing -> Text Error fetching content – pleas #624853Hi! I found there is the option to include a code block, instead of a text block to include code. It seems to work fine if I use that text block :-)
April 30, 2016 at 4:25 am in reply to: iFrame in Block when editing -> Text Error fetching content – pleas #624852I have the exact same issue!
Ah thanks, yes, it seems the Transparency menu colour was the cause :-)
Thanks!
Welmoed
Hi Vinay!
“Main menu links” is what you mean right? There I have set it to pink already. I feel I must have used another setting somewhere that makes them white until I scroll. Any idea what that setting might be?
Thanks,
Welmoed
Ah might that cause my whole homepage to not really show? Wow, ok. I downloaded the newest version, and then installed that, but I got the message that the destination folder already exists. How do I replace the old Enfold version with the new one without causing this “destination folder already exists” problem?
Thanks for getting back to me! I emptied the browser’ cache, didn’t do the trick. Then deactivated all plugins, didn’t do the trick. Then again emptied the browser’s cache, also didn’t do the trick :-(
I’d be very happy if you could have a look please! I provided your login details in the Private Content section.
The only thing I did is adding a LeadPage to my website and messing around with .com/free-webinars / .com/freewebinar / .com/freewebinar, but that has nothing to do with the home page. I have a video up on my site that people can watch (replay of a webinar), but that’s basically code referring to a video that’s hosted on YouTube. These things shouldn’t have caused this issue I guess :-)
I tried putting the homepage into Draft mode and then publishing it again, that also didn’t help.
Thanks!
Hi Yigit,
ah yes thanks! :-)

January 18, 2016 at 1:22 pm in reply to: Featured image in Advanced Layout Builder blog posts #567186Hi!
Ok cool! I have no plans of switching any time soon (nor has this particular client), but it’s good to know that I’m not setting them up for future trouble :-)
Thanks,
Welmoed
Hi Yigit!
Thanks, I was looking for it (because I thought it was something like that), didn’t see it at first lol. Found it, works like a charm. Thanks for the super quick reply!
best regards,
Welmoed
January 18, 2016 at 12:54 pm in reply to: Featured image in Advanced Layout Builder blog posts #567161Great, thanks, will do that!
Related question, I read somewhere that using this Advanced Layout Builder for blog posts might make it harder to transfer the blog posts at a later stage in case we would like to move this site to another theme. Is that correct? Or would it not cause much trouble?
Hi!
I installed the plugin, but before I even activated it, I was able to update the parent theme within the backend/Enfold Child Settings. So I guess it worked even without the Transient Cleaner :-)
And indeed, the blog pages now work just fine :-)
Topic can be closed, thanks again for the assistance!
Hi! Wow you’re fast :-)
I assume the API is correct, but how do I check? I went to ThemeForest – Settings – Generate another API key – http://www.up-dates.nl as the label, and then copied the generated API and added it to the section in the Child Theme Settings. Username as I see it in ThemeForest. Should be alright?
I’ll try the Transient Cleaner anyway :-)
Hi Yigit,
thanks for your quick answer!
I just saw that I can update from the WP back-end, so I added my Themeforest username + API key. At the moment it says I have Enfold 3.4.6 and it mentions that that is the latest version? Shouldn’t it mention that I could update to 3.4.7? I’d be very happy if I could do it from the WP back-end instead of via FTP.- This reply was modified 8 years, 11 months ago by Welmoed.
Thanks!
The _50f7 bit is fine, I don’t like the bit where it says 4 comments. I’m indeed using 1/5 3/5 1/5 columns for my blog posts. Yet I did not use a shortcode as far as I know :-)
Interesting thing as well by the way: if you look at http://www.up-dates.nl/blog it says the article “Katch basics” has 2 comments. When you go to the article itself it says it has 4 comments (in the sidebar, the one I’d like deleted), and when you scroll down to where the comments are, it says there is 1 comment. Never knew counting to 4 was so intriguing lol :-) Any idea how this is possible? I think it has something to do with original comments and responses to them, but still… Any idea?
Hey Elliott,
thanks! I downloaded the new file, uploaded it, and got this message:
Destination folder already exists. /home/mhid1163/public_html/up-dates.nl/wp-content/themes/enfold/
Theme install failed.I’m using the Enfold Child Theme, yet the ‘mother theme’ is still installed, yet not active. Maybe that has something to do with it? I’m not sure how to go about updating, please help me out :-) Thanks!
Sure, details are provided in the private section.
Hmm strange, it only seems a problem on the Homepage, not on the other ones…
Ah and now when I look again, it looks good and the way I want it to look….
Still curious what happened…Hi Rikard,
here they are! Thanks for having a look!
Please be aware you need to enter some code that shown in a pop up box, maybe even twice, once before and once after entering the login name and password.(Any idea how to get rid of that by the way? It’s annoying haha)
Regards,
Welmoed
Hey Elliott,
thanks!
For this it would be best if I’d first make a child theme I assume?
And would I then need to do both the Apache and IIS7 things?Regards,
Welmoed
