The funny thing is, if I try it under design – customizer – additional css it works! (of course only for desktop)

Thank you for your patience, but I think you do not understand what I mean. So I made some screenshots.

1. I have a standard Blog (This is a test) – overview is perfect and it take the featured image

2. Detail page is okay with the featured image

3 & 4. I change from standard editor to advanced layout editor

5. the featured image is no more longer here

Is there any possibility to work with the advanced editor and the featured image?

Thank you for answering, but that means, that automatic the blog overview picture is taken, only works with the standard editor? Is there maybe a possibility to change the design template of the blog page?
