Not sure what is going on. I had installed the theme on another one of my website hosted on the same server. That website is working correctly. So I made a copy of the theme and uploaded it to the website that was having errors. this helped out.
This time I did not use the FTP program uploader. I when into the hosting account directly and did it from there. Issue was solved.
I think that the FTP program I was using is not working correctly.
Guys I had installed the theme on another website that is working, copied it and placed it on the non-working theme site. and I got the theme LayerSlider to work. I believe that if you use FTP it may not transfer everything correctly. I used the main FOLDER UPLOAD through the web hosting.
Not sure if this will work for you guys. its a shot. I can email you guys the code folder and see if that work for you.
I am having issues. I was told that I should fix the code on the FRAME WORK. but when I looked at the code. the new version already has the fix. Why am I still getting errors. This is my error

Borkent, I am running Enfold 2.9.2 / WP3.8
once I did the theme update to 2.9.2, most plug-ins stopped working.
looks like its all the plug-in and the theme 2.9.2 not working all together with WP4.0

for WPML, you need to reset the placement of language flags. I had to do this for each of my language websites. Go to ENFOLD (ES) > HEADER > EXTRA ELEMENT TAB > (Header Secondary Menu: Secondary Menu in to bar at the right)

Josue. as you stated there are several ways to resize in WP.
The one you mentioned is one of three. But what about the default way the WP originally created the image resize. It does not work in this template…
I work for a newspaper and time is money. as soon as I get a story, I need to post, insert image, resize and be done with it. That is where the default WP resize image does not work. now I need to take extra steps to resize an image as you stated.
I am having issue with the IME. still not working.
when I select an image to place into my area, I don’t see anything
March 12, 2014 at 12:02 am in reply to: WPML language switcher disappeared after upgrading Enfold #235992I go the same issue, this is pissing me off. I have been playing with this WP template for two weeks now, we are ready to launch and this happens. WHY!!!
THIS TEMPLATE IS PISSING ME OFF!!!!
I don’t want to be hacking into the template just to make stuff work.
I just did the update to the template, and now all kinds of functions don’t work correctly/* #Images ================================================== */ img, a img { border:none; padding: 0; margin:0; display:inline-block; /* max-width: 100%; height:auto;*/ width:auto; image-rendering: optimizeQuality; }
this is on line 152 and 153

Josue, this is bad for those users who are not good with image software. and such an inconvenience to create multiple images in different sizes. WP created the image resize tool for a reason, but then this function is used in with the template it dose not work.
OK what we are trying to say is that when you are in TXT block form, and you place a logo, then try to downsize it. the template will not allow you to downsize the logo.

The issue has not been corrected. We need help with this
look at this site I am working on http://calcontrk.com/
there in the “CCTA Conference” area you will see 4 logos, the last logo to the right is down sized with in WP, but the template does not down size it.

I get the same thing
<img alt="ALT_Logo_web" src="http://calcontrk.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/ALT_Logo_web.gif" width="62" height="66" />
this is from the source page
<span class="image-overlay overlay-type-extern" style="opacity: 0; left: -5px; top: 0px; overflow: hidden; display: block; height: 160px; width: 160px;"><span class="image-overlay-inside"></span></span>
This is throughout the entire website
