The thing is that it is easy to hide the burger but the close button will be hidden to. And the script works with it.

There is not much that can be done if the amount of text is different, but we can reduce the whitespace around the text to make it look a bit better.

This is a more general WordPress question, not really theme related. You can upload a favicon in the theme options, the image is better to be prepared in Photoshop and uploaded to the website.
