Sure, we will keep the thread open for now.
It can also be the Smush + Hummingbird combo that is breaking things. You need to deactivate all plugins and activate them one by one :) Not deactivate them one by one.

Categories are rendered with a different file and Advanced Layout Builder is not available to edit them.

Original images are not square and so the thumbs are not square. You might want to use big square images for the gallery or be ok with the rectangle thumbs.

I was able to check the box for the marketing cookies but the page requires credentials anyway. So how to check the rest of the issue?
