Yes, that version of the theme is not built to work with WordPress5+, you definitely need to update it, but before you do, please make sure you have a full website backup ready and that you’re running php7.2 or higher.

Well, you need to do a full website backup, update the theme via FTP. You can get a fresh copy in your Themeforest account.

Also, you should be running php7.2 or higher.
