If you need your slider be pixel-perfect on such big screens, you have to prepare appropriate images, hi res, hi quality, retina-ready. And of course, images look different on different screens, they might have different color profiles, different settings for brightness and contrast.
Maybe, you should also try fixed size slider, just of a big size, will be normal on laptop, and on huge desktops will stay at a certain size and image will not dilute so much.

All this has to be done via css and hiding some element you don’t want on mobile and showing elements that were built specifically for mobile.
So you can just list the issues that you have and we try to figure them out with you.

As for the logo, you can show it even smaller

I would not say I have a way to fix the issue, but I know the reason. In Safari in News column forts 2 news have an extra line, it gives that column an extra ~70px height and Safari show it like that. In Firefox and Chrome the text manages to stay without extra line so it all looks like it is the same height.
There is always a chance that some browser will interpret the text with different spacing and it will break, it’s really hard to keep this kind of stuff aligned.
