the screenshot also shows our problem: a read more button under the featured image and the excerpt. clicking this button will show you exact the same page and not the full content.Hi,
we don’t want to display the content of the blog-item on the overview page, but on the blog-page itself. The page you land on when clicked on the link on the blog-overview page. the blog overview page is good, no problems there.
When clicking on one of the items on the blow overview page you land on the blog-item itself. this is the page of our concern: this page only shows a read more button, but it should show the content of the blog item.
when clicking on the read more button, nothing happens: it links to the same page, which is the link to the full blog item.kind regards

We don ‘t need adjustments on the blog overview page, that’s fine as it is. This ticket is about the blogpage itself, this page doesn’t show the content as we wish it to.
As I understand we can’t use the advanced builder for blog posts, as it won’t show the content. How we managed before I don’t know, but it worked and we dearly want it to work again. You can see this in one of the earliest blogs, those were built with the advanced builder and do show full content, unless the earlier blogs have been opened at the back-end side (even without saving).
Can you somehow make adjustments to the theme to make the advanced builder work in the blogsection?
Kind regardsThe post were not built with the default editor. Why did we buy a fancy theme when we can ‘t use the advanced Lay out builder. Better question: Why is there an advanced Lay out builder if jou can’t use it?

It used to work fine with the advanced builder, we didn’t change anything to the theme. But since the last update it doesn’t work anymore. Even the items which were built with the advanced builder and working fine untill the update don ‘t work anymore, but only when we’ve opened those items on the back-end side. Untouched items (built with the advanced builder) still work fine! My best guess is that it has something to do with the latest update.We’ve tried the different options within the theme for blog layout.
As you can see; it does not work. The blog keeps saying read more (lees meer) and stil no content showing up.

Hi, I did set the blog lay-out to “grid layout”. The blog doesn’t show the full content, I’m afraid your adjustment didn’t do the trick.

Is there someone looking at this? time is going by and our website isn’t working correctly.
* Besides the blog we are also experience problems with the portfolio’s. They aren’t full screen. We did make them full screen and change by different screen size. After the update we have small portfolio’s.
* And our homepage slider had a different size after the update. it showed all the pictures in square and higher than we difened. We fixed the square thing temporarily by putting a blank space above the slider (which gives a bigger white area above the slider, which we hate). So it’s not a good solution. But the pictures are still to heigh.Can you please help us fixe our website? we really need it to work
Hi, I’ve checked the excerpt field and put a little text there. the blog shows the little text and a read more button. clicking the read more button doesn’t show the full blog. Or is it necessary to put all the text and photo’s in the excerpt field? In that case: it used to work using the AVIA content builder, so why doesn’t that work anymore? I think the content builder is the added value and gives us the opportunity to create a customized lay-out for each blog-item
I’ve added a few examples in the private field:
the latest blog item made with content builder: doesn’t work
an earlier blog item made without content builder, but with text editor: this does work normally
an earlier blog item made with content builder: does work, but when an earlier item is opened in the editor and closed without changes or save then the item doesn’t show anymore and shows only the read more button: somehow an updated setting is put in every blog item when opened in the content builder…It still doesn’t work!
We still get the read more (lees meer) button and when we click the read more it still doesn’t open the blogpost :-(Hi,
deactivating the plugins didn’t work out: same result: the read more button, but no text.
