When can we expect Enfold to be patched with the fix? Again this has been reported over a month ago, and should be a priority for your team.
(I do see the various workarounds, but I don’t think these work for all resolutions as noted above).
This particular issue with background videos has been reported in early November. Please ask the developer if they can thoroughly troubleshoot and fix the problem in an updated version of Enfold.
I am having the exact same problem. I have a video background in a Color Section that is no longer properly aligned. Everything was working fine in version 4.1.2, but as soon as I upgraded to Enfold 4.2, it broke.
This should be very easy for you to replicate to troubleshoot. Can you please provide an estimate on when this will be fixed. Thank you.
Do we need to purchase a new license to get access to Enfold updates?
Okay, I figured it out, and you can close this ticket.
The update did not work when I tried using Envato Market plugin to do the updates.
But when I switched to the Envato WordPress Toolkit to do the updates, then it worked.
I think this is server specific.

No, I am using the WordPress update theme feature. I go to Appearance: Themes. Then I click on Enfold, where it states an update is available. Then I press the update link and get an error when unpacking the update:
Unable to find End of Central Dir Record signature
which is a zip error, I believe.
Is this how it is done on this page:
http://kriesi.at/themes/enfold/homepage/home-v9-videos-and-parallax/It looks like a new feature in the Enfold theme. I am running Enfold 3.3.2, and wonder if this new feature is included.
Even on the Enfold demo theme the font size in the LayerSlider text layers gets illegible on smartphones. For example, the third slide “Tons of Elements” and the other text is illegible when the browser window gets too small.
Is there a way to fix this?
I was trying the various options in Blog Posts, Posts Slider, and even the posts widget, but they all had images.
I will use your CSS to hide those images. Thank you.
I am just going to use Chrome, since it works with that browser.
Adjusting the memory_limit to 128Mb did not work. Same problem.
It works fine in Chrome and MSIE, but does not work in Firefox and Safari. That seems to indicate it is a web browser issue with WebKit based browsers. It is very easy to replicate the problem for the developers to test and debug.
Upon further testing, this appears to be related to the browser that I am using. Here is a summary of which browsers the error occurs:
Works Fine:
– Windows MSIE
– Windows Chrome
Broken:
– Windows Firefox
– Mac Firefox
– Mac Safari
So I would appreciate if a developer could respond on this issue. Thank you.
My local install reports the following:
Memory limit : 40 MByte,
Memory usage : 15.71 MByte
What memory limit would I need to get this to work? And how do I up the memory in PHP?
It is a fresh install of WordPress and Enfold, so there are no plugins other then what comes with the theme.
I don’t think it is a memory issue since the problem exists on two different installs. I did a local install on my desktop, and a remote install at my webhost. Same problem in both cases.
