We are currently running 7.2.17. We tried 7.3.4, but that broke everything. Hostek, the company that hosts the site won’t load 7.4 until it is more stable.
To your point, assuming 7.2.17 is fine for running with WordPress 5.8 then that only leaves the theme as the issue. I have deactivated all plugins and that did not fix the issue. What was the ajax nonce issue that I was seeing?

If I click the “Edit page” at the top I get a 500 error. If I go to the back end and select block editor I can get into the doc, but the text blocks have all white lettering and it does not show the text editing options (type, font, size, center, etc.). Link to screenshot in private content.
The pages with the most issues appear to be those that were created with the classic editor.
Can someone from support please talk to me about PHP compatibility? We rolled back the PHP to a slightly earlier version and that appears to have fixed most of the issues.
It seems like every time we update WordPress, Enfold theme, and our PHP the s&%$ goes nuts. The company that hosts our server space does not allow users to use the most recent, up-to-date version of PHP because they are historically known to be glichy. Shouldn’t the Enfold them be backward complaint, at least a few versions?
I just updated the theme to the most recent version. That seems to have fixed the issue of missing text, but did not fix the back end issue of the Avia builder just showing the “Circle of Death”. When the page first pops up it shows the option to edit custom elements, but then those two buttons quickly go away. Is this related to my issue?
I have tried disabling all of the plugins and that did not work. I keep seeing this error. That seems to be an ajax error, no?

Could this be a PHP issue? We are using 7.3.4. My IT guy said Hostek does not load the new, most current version of PHP as they usually have unforeseen bugs.

I am having the same issue. Can you please look at it. We are not using a child theme. We have already checked our server.
The spinning circle of death does not allow me to see the option. Your help section said, “You should now see a new field under the Advanced Layout Builder with the live output of the elements as you add them using the drag and drop interface.”
I am having my IT person look into it.
The page also shows an error message – “Updating failed. The response is not a valid JSON response.”
No, this is not a staging/test site. I will reach out to our network admin and see what, if any, limits he has on the data being pased.
After playing around and checking and double-checking settings in WP, Enfold, and YouTube we uploaded the video a second time to YouTube and used that link instead. That fixed the problem. Most bizarre.
We have now updated WP to 5.6.1 and PHP 7.2.17 and one of the boxes fixed itself. We tried updating the PHP all the way, but it gives us the 500 error. Rolling it back some helps fix that. Is there an incompatibility issue between the most recent PHP/WP/Enfold?

Updating caused another issue. I am not receiving the dreaded 500- Internal Server Error code.
Thank you for the response. The last time we updated the PHP it created serious issues with the website. We had to roll it back in order for the theme to work correctly. I assume these issues have been resolved by now?
