Hi Nikko
Here’s a link to the thread: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/short-horizontal-rulers-in-columns/#post-747638
I have this CSS code in my child theme custom styles.css on line 110 and it does not work.
Thanks
LyseHi Ismael,
I can, within the existing Enfold caption, create what you provided. What I’m looking for is two separate caption transformation. I don’t know the Enfold elements I need to change to make this happen.
Thanks
LyseApril 27, 2017 at 4:00 pm in reply to: Fullwidth sliders not displaying correctly on mobile devices #784091Hi Victoria,
The slider text we are talking about is built into the image “SURPRENEZ VOUS”. So do you mean you can help me reproduce that text and place it where it should be on the slider image when viewing on mobile devices?
I want the image to display exactly like it does on the desktop:
– I can see all of the person in the slider image
– I can see the “SURPRENEZ VOUS” text on the slider image on the person’s middle upper body
– I can see my caption free of the image text.As for the logo size on the mobile, how do I get it to be small on the mobile devices?
Thank you for responding quickly.
LyseHi Ismael,
Exactly what I wanted.
Thank you so much!

Hi Sarah,
Here’s a screenshot of the gap that I would like to reduce between the header and the slider:

LyseApril 27, 2017 at 3:29 am in reply to: Fullwidth sliders not displaying correctly on mobile devices #783755Hi
Any progress on this slider display issue. I’m launching this coming Monday and would like to see a solution to my issue
I also replaced the slider images to the recommended Enfold size: 1500px by 430 px. But the size did not correct the issue.
Here’s a revised link to my website: http://crescendo.staging.wpengine.com/ (hosted on WPengine)
Thank you
LyseHi Rikard
Sorry I had WPML issues with my pages yesterday. I fixed them all now so here’s the link to one of the pages that does not display well on mobile:
So you are aware, instead of using columns not I changed these to use grid row because that helped with alignment of the images on the desktop. But I still have the display issue on the mobile.
Thanks
LyseApril 26, 2017 at 12:27 am in reply to: Fullwidth sliders not displaying correctly on mobile devices #783195Hi Victoria,
Just to clarify, I want my sliders to display the same as what we see on a desktop. Right now on mobile devices the image text overlaps the caption text.
Thanks
LyseHi Victoria,
There are two images just below “Nos Services”. Indeed the initial image sizes differ. So if I understand correctly, if both are the same size initially, the resizing that gets done is calculated on the initial image size and that is why I get offered two different “large” image sizes?
Thanks

LyseHi Rikard,
I found a CSS code snippet that has the hover effect that I want except text is not centered (https://tympanus.net/Development/HoverEffectIdeas/index.html). I’m struggling on which element(s) to apply the CSS styling to within the theme. In the caption or image or both?
Here’s the CSS code snippet:
figure.effect-lily img {
width: -webkit-calc(100% + 50px);
width: calc(100% + 50px);
opacity: 0.7;
-webkit-transition: opacity 0.35s, -webkit-transform 0.35s;
transition: opacity 0.35s, transform 0.35s;
-webkit-transform: translate3d(-40px,0, 0);
transform: translate3d(-40px,0,0);
}figure.effect-lily figcaption {
top: auto;
bottom: 0;
height: 50%;
text-align: left;
}figure.effect-lily h2,
figure.effect-lily p {
-webkit-transform: translate3d(0,40px,0);
transform: translate3d(0,40px,0);
}figure.effect-lily h2 {
-webkit-transition: -webkit-transform 0.35s;
transition: transform 0.35s;
}figure.effect-lily p {
color: rgba(255,255,255,0.6);
opacity: 0;
-webkit-transition: opacity 0.2s, -webkit-transform 0.35s;

}figure.effect-lily:hover img,
figure.effect-lily:hover p {
opacity: 1;
}figure.effect-lily:hover img,
figure.effect-lily:hover h2,
figure.effect-lily:hover p {
-webkit-transform: translate3d(0,0,0);
transform: translate3d(0,0,0);
}figure.effect-lily:hover p {
-webkit-transition-delay: 0.05s;
transition-delay: 0.05s;

}Any help to integrate this effect into my page would be greatly appreciated.

I want white space between sections. I chose small padding for the sections but I don’t get it.Thanks

LyseHi Basilis,
I guess it’s too complicated and would take too much time within this support group. I know some CSS but this one I’m not quite sure how to replicate and where to look for possible examples.
Thanks
LyseHi
My client no longer wants the colored border. You may close this ticket.
Thank all of you for your time and efforts.
LyseHi Designweb,
I tried that CSS code within my Child theme styles.csss file and that does not fix the problem.
Thanks

[/av_section]Hi Basilis
Thank you for the tip to look at the code in debugger.
The culprit that was causing the issue was the special heading element. All three section titles that had an issue, two were copied from the previous erroneous one, and where I had initially used a sub-heading, then deleted it. It didn’t matter if I replaced the sections with the working one, the old and undeleted code remain, such as the padding. This is a bug within the framework in that the old code should be removed when changes are made to the element.
When I tried to edit in the debugger area, my changes never got saved. So I used MS Word to copy the entire code, made changes, then copied back into a new test page. All sections display correctly. The edit and save functions should work in the code debugger. This may also have a bug.
Another question I have. How do I get white space between two colored background sections? Do I need to use the white space seperator or should that work but have another bug?
Thanks
LyseHi Rikard,
I have no option within the element to create a class. The element I tried to style is the following column border, but it did not work even if I include the page.
.page-id-577 .flex_column av_three_fifth {
border-left: 20px solid red;
}Thanks
LyseHi Designweb
That worked perfectly!
Thank you so much
LyseHi
My clients has been complaining about spam with using the Enfold contact form. I also hope it gets fixed in the next release!
LyseHi Vinay,
I have tried different options, but can’t make this work at all. I’ve moved all of my fonts under a sub-directory ‘”fonts” in my child theme and editing the CSS code URLs to point to that directory.
I clear the server cache often but no change. I can’t use the fonts.
I also tried the plugin you suggested, but I need to apply the font to a specific element. The element I want to apply the font to is the signature block contained in the slider caption content area. It’s not a specific element by itself.
I also tried inline CSS within the caption textbox, but it does not work and the code disappears when I save the page.
Boy, that seems complicated to do.
Do you have any other suggestions to make this work?
Thanks
LyseHi John,
That’s me….I’m out now. I have a deadline to launch so I’m working on more than one page at a time.
Sorry…
Lyse
Hi John
This is wrong. I only want the Coaching page slider caption’s last sentence aligned to the right. Your CSS gets applied to the wrong pages.
Thanks

LyseHi Victoria,
I would rather no have to meddle into the JS file so that I get the color picker to work.
The elements are the ones within the Enfold general styling where I pick the color #ec5548 and than gets changed to #ec5648.
What would be a more secure way to get the correct color applied?
Thanks
