Perfect guys, both of these latest solutions worked nicely, thank you so much.
May I ask, with the 2nd issue @Yigit, if this is a Safari only issue with CSS, shouldn’t this code snippet you gave me be included in the actual theme itself, as I have this problem on every site I have made with enfold so far? Is there a reason its excluded from Enfold by default?
Hey guys
Thanks for the responses.
1. The problem I was referring too isn’t related to Woocommerce in any way, its the 1st column in the footer which is just new blog posts using the “Enfold Latest News” widget. Started happening months before I installed woo commerce.
2. Ok I’ve realised this is an issue ONLY ON SAFARI. Just added that code @Yigit suggested, and on my Macbook Pro Retina and Retina iPad the issue still exists. Any further thoughts? Like I said, I’ve seen the same issue on sites i’ve done for clients. You won’t see it on Chrome, please try using Safari and you’ll see it.
Thanks guys, really appreciate your help

yep, thats got it. Thanks for that.
Hey thanks for that, thats not a bad fix.
Only problem is this link https://www.microstockman.com/licensing/#license_mediumjpeg (which is on every product page) still gets loaded in the lightbox when it is clicked.
Any other suggestions?
Thanks again

August 10, 2015 at 4:25 pm in reply to: post format disappearing when changing to Advanced Layout #485432HI Elliot,
Thanks that is helpful. Its just a shame to loose the category and comment links simply due to using the advanced editor. Hope that makes sense.
Cheers

Hey Kriesi, thanks for figuring that out. I had some sort of issue when I first selected a blog page in the enfold area, so I ended up leaving it blank, but I can’t remember what the issue was.
Thanks for your good support again, and also for looking into the mega menu problems in my other thread. I hope 2.8 fixes that issue soon.
Cheers

This reply has been marked as private.Just tried it, no luck.
Also re tried deactivating all plugins, still a problem.
Please help!
Hi Ismael,
No I haven’t altered any theme files, and this only started with an Enfold upgrade with 2.6. As in, worked fine before, hit upgrade, then was a problem. So seems to be theme related.
I turned off all plugins, emptied super-cache cache, and it still remained. I have given your team a login in my other open thread if you want to take a look.
Thanks for your help

Yes! This is EXACTLY what I am trying to explain – maybe you have explained it better. Thanks for chiming in inSight.
I really hope the Enfold team can make a fix for this.
This reply has been marked as private.I run enfold on another site too: http://www.timhester.com.au and I have the same issue there, confirming that it is indeed an issue. The submenu’s of a Mega Menu cannot be accessed by clicking the parent menu item on an iPhone (I’m guessing any phone, but only have iPhone to test, tried two version – 3GS, and iPhone 4)
Try the “Buy Stock Images” menu on that site, you cannot access the submenu’s on a mobile.
Please help! I have purchased Enfold multiple times and recommend it to clients, I love it, but do need more assistance with this issue.
Cheers
Hi Devin,
If you mean this:
Hide Mobile Menu Submenu Items
By default all menu items of the mobile menu are visible. If you activate this option they will be hidden and a user needs to click on the parent menu item to display the submenusThen yes, it is selected. That is what I want. But the point is the SUBMENU items CAN’T be clicked under the first two menu’s “Beginners Guide” & “Reviews”. So yes, the parent item expands just as a I want it to, but then the submenu’s can’t be clicked to expand out the submenu options.
Hi Devin,
ok, sorry about the multiple issues in one thread.
As for the menu, you have a login (in private post above) to my site, so you can clearly see the structure. Basically, there are a couple of mega menu’s with 3 or 4 columns. Initially I couldn’t click and expand these at all on a phone. Since adding the “#” in the url field, now I can. But I can only get to the column titles – i can’t click these and expand them to reveal the menu items below them. So basically, my first two menu items (“Beginners Guide” and “Reviews”) are useless on a phone currently.
Please try my site on your phone and login to the admin and see the structure. Hopefully you will see clearly what I am talking about.
Cheers

Hi guys,
Any thoughts on fixing the sliding mega menu for phones? Please help!
THP
Ok update – using the Grid setting seems to avoid the plugin conflict (which I still can’t work out which one is causing it). So I will just go with that for now.
However, the iPhone menu thing is interesting. I have just found what I think is a fix, but it needs your help. If the top level menu item on a mega menu or drop down menu has a “#” in the url field, instead of blank, then the sub level of that menu will work. However, when it comes to Mega Menu’s, that only allows you to see the menu columns, and you still can’t click those individual columns – it seems they too need a “#” in the url field – except there is no URL field for mega menu columns. So is there a way to have the theme insert #’s in mega menu columns so they become clickable?
By the way, this is with the “Hide Mobile Menu Submenu Items” ticked in Enfold settings. Turning this setting off completely allows the menu to work fine.
Finally, the latest enfold update (2.7 I think) seems to have introduced a bug in the breadcrumbs, where if a post has multiple categories that it is in then those multiple categories show up in the breadcrumbs, with the post title repeated as well. See here for example: Microstock Man 2014
Looking forward to your thoughts and assistance

Hi Peter,
Thanks for getting back to me, I really appreciate it.
I just deactivated all plugins, and indeed it fixed the logo element problem. But turning them on one by one I am unable to pinpoint the problem, as it occurs randomly.
Also, deactivating the plugins didn’t fix the broken menu on iPhone. This seems to be a different issue – any thoughts?
Thanks

Yeah I have updated to latest everything and will work on it over the next week or two and see if it has resolved itself.
I hope your guys can help me with the other issues i’ve raised in the other thread about mobile menu not working and logo element not working when logged out.
Cheers

Hi guys,
Could you please take a look again at the bugs mentioned above? I have the latest theme version (2.6.4) and WordPress 3.9 as of today, still the same problems. I really need your help with these.
Thanks
Hi Devin,
Thanks for looking into it. I have done so, but as yet the problems remain (perhaps a little time needs to pass?) – I cleared the cache and then did a PreLoad of it, but no luck.
Would you mind taking a further look? There are a number of issues on top of the homepage logo slider one – the menu not working on iPhone (other than the last two items, which work fine), and the grey alternate colour not showing on firefox (http://www.microstockman.com/microstock-shop/ – the background section at the top called “Microstock Shop” is all grey on browsers other than Firefox).
Cheers, thanks for your assistance
Thanks Devin, I hope you can find the cause. It is an ongoing problem for me, across versions and browsers – really frustrating!
Thanks for your work
Cheers
This reply has been marked as private.Hi guys,
I haven’t added much so I’ll just post it here (hope that is ok)
#top .avia-logo-element-container img { width: auto; } .big-preview { pointer-events: none; } .image-overlay { background: transparent; } .main_color .image-overlay .image-overlay-inside::before { background: #FF972D; } .image-overlay.overlay-type-extern .image-overlay-inside::before { background: #FF972D; } .footer_color .news-thumb { background: none; }
They are basically just code changes I found on the forum to fix a few things.
Hope that helps
Thanks
Hi,
Yep, latest version of Enfold and its happened on ALL versions to date (think I started using enfold in version 1.something).
Have you tried the steps I listed – does it go weird for you?
Fair enough.
Perhaps if you put a “ADVANCED USERS ONLY” type comment next to it? Anyway, it has my vote to become part of the admin :)
Cheers, thanks again
Sweet, thanks Josue, I will have a play with that. Looks good.
Is there a reason you haven’t implemented this as a tick box option in the Enfold Admin e.g.: “Turn on Advanced CSS Field?” ?
That would be awesome and would simplify it for most people I would think.
Otherwise, will I need to re-add that line in functions.php every time there is a theme update?
Really appreciate your help with this.
Tim
Great, thanks for that I’ll take a look at it.
If this sort of functionality could be built into the visual composer it would HUGELY extend the layout capabilities of Enfold (which is already my favourite theme!).
Thanks for you help
