Sure I’ll send you a full screen shot of what a full width editing experience looks like in Enfold without a sidebar for navigating the CMS of the theme.
Screen shot one is a sidebar used for navigation, screen two is my working environment without it. Here it is.You need my login to tell me why the working area in my posts and pages is fullscreen and does not show my left navigation?
October 3, 2019 at 4:03 pm in reply to: Selection Highlight color in drop down navigation menu #1144509I gave you a link to a pic. How does that not serve the same purpose?
Also why is that something that is not controlled in the customization of the theme where all other colors, fonts and treatments are?August 13, 2019 at 4:31 pm in reply to: How To Create Blog Posts as an Admin for other authors #1127273Or is there a way for me to go create all the posts and then sign them over to the author to look like they wrote it?
August 13, 2019 at 3:19 pm in reply to: How To Create Blog Posts as an Admin for other authors #1127249Context:
I’m designing a site. They already have, lets say 10 posts from 4 authors. I need to log in and out of me as Admin to them as author/contributor in order to do this. No admin overrides? The point is these people are not bloggers or tech savvy so to alleviate the worry and potential for failure or bad formatting or using bad pics, ONE person (admin) that knows how to do all that needs to post for them and use their contact to drive sales and inbound communication.Hope this makes sense.
I figured it out Thanks.
Thanks Victoria.
That doesn’t help, so I went to the page and scrolled down to the bottom where it says Animation then clicked it and it has a bunch of code/CSS.
What am I supposed to do with that? I’m not a front end developer. I am using a WP template to make my life easier not go learn a new skill set just to use this template, why can’t I turn on or off the animation or slow it down in the slider module?I deleted it because I didn’t want to have the credentials floating around over there for a week. I did it myself mike. Thanks but no thinaks. i will never pay for support from here again. You guys are aren’t responsive at all.
I fixed my site.
Why would anyone pay for this support? You guys are terrible. SLow moving and virtually no help at all. I’ve been at this for weeks. Mostly because it isn’t clear from Theme Forrest/Envato that I even have the latest version until I download and compare the last modification date. There is no versioning in the dashboard or on the thumbnail for the download. This is such a beat down. My life and website are being held hostage until you see fit to respond.
My PHP is NOW updated to 7.1

Mike what exactly do you need from me?
I need to fix this but I haven’t heard of people FTPing files for 20 years.
I can make you Admin in WP dashboard.
You want access to my control panel for my host acct? And why do I need to do it manually and not just click the update button for the theme?
I’m terrified to do that and am concerned it will mess up my page.
Why would a simple update break my site and not allow me to edit my content?
Why do you force people into so called upgrades that cause issues.Ok try again. sorry.
MIKE,
here it is.- This reply was modified 5 years, 4 months ago by thomasianwilson21171.
I’ve already started doing this because the other was so complicated. i have used this theme for at least 5 years. Never was promted or suggested to enable a child theme. I’d have to go read about that.
Thanks anyway.Guenni,
We don’t seem to be communicating well. I’d like to be very clear because it seems like we are talking in circles.
1. I do not have a child theme (said this repeatedly) I do not even know what that is.
2. You can use a great deal of developer lingo and words that are overly complicated that you like and use and are familiar with. I’m not. I am not technical support. I’m a human with what should be, a simple issue to overcome.
I just want my pages to be visible. This seems like a no brainer for Enfold. I have no idea why anyone would make a template that hides content under crappy URLS that the SEO and the internet doesn’t see. Seems kinda moronic to me. And so in order to get it to be crawled by the internet I have to commit to some rocket surgery.
So we can talk in circles and you can send 6 more posts that say the same thing and do not reflect what I see or we can simplify this process by communicating in a human and conversational way. With pictures and numbered steps. Again, I am not a developer.I do not have anything that says Enfold Child.

AM I overwriting some other line of code or just adding it?
I found this after looking for a while. But it doesn’t indicate “Child” anywhere.
Edit Themes
Enfold: functions-enfold.php
Select theme to edit:I use the avia builder. I don’t write code.
Not sure I’m communicating this well but I do not know where or how to add that code to the child page.
If you could share which brackets to paste it between (where exactly in code) I would greatly appreciate that.Guenni007, Thank you so much, so I put this code: add_theme_support(‘avia_template_builder_custom_tab_toogle_id’);
Somewhere? How do I know where it goes? In the code of child theme, where do I find that?
And then Yoast will see and understand those tabbed items under each page? These tabbed pages are not crawled by search engines because they can’t see them. Yoast doesn’t even see them as pages. They have a lot of content on them. This is an issue with the theme not yoast.
