Have you tried to manually disable modules not used. I encountered that the count down module didn’t show up when I used the automatic detection on unused modules.
April 16, 2018 at 6:46 pm in reply to: Trying to embed form code, but it messes up the Advanced Layout Editor #942711Hi again Victoria,
Now when I knew what to look for I found this. It seems like the same issue existed back in 2014 https://kriesi.at/support/topic/html-textarea-tag-breaks-avia-layout-builder/ . The work around with the insert HTML snippet seems to work although I don’t like the idea to have to worry about another plugin that may create other problems and performance degradation.
April 16, 2018 at 4:56 pm in reply to: Trying to embed form code, but it messes up the Advanced Layout Editor #942651Hi Victoria,
I have now verified that the issue must be in Enfold ALE (which I think Rikard confirmed earlier).
I have done a complete new web server install just added Enfold Version: 4.2.6 nothing else (no plugins or child Themes) and the issue is still there.April 16, 2018 at 3:04 pm in reply to: Trying to embed form code, but it messes up the Advanced Layout Editor #942597Thanks Victoria, I will have to investigate and check without any plugins. I will come back. Regarding the 500 server it is because I have stripped the form to isolate the problem, so problems when you hit submit is only to be expected.
April 14, 2018 at 1:13 pm in reply to: Trying to embed form code, but it messes up the Advanced Layout Editor #941907Hi Victoria,
Please note that the form has always looked ok and worked on the from-end. However, the Advanced Layout Editor (ALE) is totally messed up and I can no longer edit the page. You will notice that now when I have given you login credentials in private content. Thanks for trying to help me, please keep me posted about the 500 error, sound interesting…..
April 13, 2018 at 10:15 am in reply to: Trying to embed form code, but it messes up the Advanced Layout Editor #941378Hi Victoria, thanks for your support.
The link is on the private section. I have stopped the form to just include the textarea that is causing the ALE to break, just so you will get it in it’s purest form.

You are welcome Basilis, is this something you intend to look into and fix?
April 9, 2018 at 7:08 pm in reply to: Trying to embed form code, but it messes up the Advanced Layout Editor #939362Hi again Ismael,
I think that I have managed to isolate the problem. It seems like the ALE breaks if I use a “textarea” in the form.
This breaks the ALE:
<div>
<label>Optional message</label>
<br>
<textarea maxlength=”512″ rows=”3″ name=”Extra.1489586585837″></textarea>
</div>This do not break ALE:
<div>
<label>Optional message to Aptilo</label>
<br>
<input maxlength=”512″ type=”text” name=”Extra.1489586585837″>
</div>April 9, 2018 at 5:53 pm in reply to: Trying to embed form code, but it messes up the Advanced Layout Editor #939332Hi Ismael,
I do not want to use iframe since that is adding to much latency to the form loading. I can take 2-3 sec and is not acceptable as we have lost a lot on conversion rates (#people entering the form page/ #people submitting form) since we started with Enfold, most likely due to this iframe delay.
I think it is strange how a “simple form” can mess up the back-end ALE…… I have now omitted any JS etc and is just trying with everything between <form> and </form> still same result.
April 6, 2018 at 4:42 pm in reply to: Trying to embed form code, but it messes up the Advanced Layout Editor #938298Hi Rikard,
I certainly understand that you cannot be responsible for this code. However, I think it should be your responsible to protect so that the back-end don’t break with additional code or try to help out to analyse why it breaks the back-end.
This code is to present a form get the data and then post the data to an external system. You have a contact form that is generating a mail and one that is an integration with Mailchimp. Maybe you should consider to add one form version allowing for a general purpose post to an external system. I would imagine that you then would need to add a filename to each field and also allow for hidden fields. Then you would need a “post string” that could be set, please see what I mean in the private content section.
Thanks Ismael, good idea except for that I don’t think I can make that image and H1 text responsive to scale for smaller screens like smartphones?
I also need to have a #ffffff text background with opacity 0,1, this part can be fixed with custom CSS I guess.This reply has been marked as private.September 22, 2017 at 9:35 am in reply to: Link to specific tab in the "tab section" layout element #855277Hi John, I saw that thread already. I am not sure what to make of it though. Jordan Shannon’s recommendation seams to be about the functionality in the “tabs” content elements module and not about the “tab section” layout element.
And, this thread ends with a “Hi” from Basilis and nothing more ;=)).
August 15, 2017 at 2:38 pm in reply to: Unexpected bahaviour with the mobile menu for 4.2.1 using Safari #839307Hi John,
Just to rule out any misconfigurations from my side I have done this test on the demo system at Kriesi.at and have no admin access there. The link is http://kriesi.at/themes/enfold-hotel/
According to my developer:
It turned out that the problem with the hamburger menu was related to our child theme that was not adapted for the new mobile menu in enfold.
The map issue is probably related to that the API /domain “mapping” since we have a different domain in the staging area.Sorry for triggering this issues without looking into it better.
However: There is still one error in the compatibility checker (and the same warnings as before):
798 | ERROR | Indirect access to variables, properties and methods will be evaluated strictly in left-to-right order since PHP 7.0. Use curly braces to remove ambiguity.
Is this a known problem for PHP7. Note that the compatibility checker notifies about this error also for 4.2.1.
Thanks Yigit for engaging in this.
Hi Yigit,
It can be caused by our child theme I have our developer looking at it. I have spotted two errors:
1. The hamburger menu is showing up at the right-hand side also for large screens. For mobile size screens it shows up also as an extra hamburger in the mobile menu.
2. The Google map module we use at contact us page does not load.
In the private content you will find URL etc if you want to check.
Otherwise PHP 7 seems to work well both with the 4.2.1 and 4.0.7 although I still get the same entries in the error log.
That would be if there is a “warning please upgrade” plugin that you can recommend that don’t take any performance for other users.
I do have PopUp maker, I can see what functions they have.According to my Google analytics it is less than 0,2 % ;=)) I will have to try to redirect them to a “plain HTML page” encourage them to upgrade.
Sorry for SPAMING, close this ticket please. I realise that it was some combinations of OS and IE 9 and downwards that cause problem. So in reality no big issue?

July 11, 2017 at 7:34 am in reply to: wordpress ask for update but nothing appear in update's page with enfold #819128We are running PHP 5.6 at wp-engine. At this time we can’t go up to 7.0 unless absolutely necessary, we should have launched the site already. I winder if a newer version of layer slider would fix this problem?
July 10, 2017 at 5:25 pm in reply to: wordpress ask for update but nothing appear in update's page with enfold #818881I have a problem that seem to (testing locally) cause layer slider not working well with SSL (no slides appear).
I can see the following error log:
Warning: fopen(/nas/content/live/aptilo/wp-content/plugins/nas/content/live/aptilo/wp-content/themes/enfold/config-layerslider/LayerSlider/layerslider.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /nas/content/live/aptilo/wp-includes/functions.php on line 4784, referer: https://www.aptilo.c…admin.php?page=wpseo_dashboard
Do you know what this is related to?

June 30, 2017 at 8:20 am in reply to: Animated numbers: Strange font size and transparency for text after the number #814850Thanks!
Hi Sarah,
It is the plugin PopupMaker. I have enabled it now, still same problem?
Hi John,
Can you please advice which banner you are referring to? On this particular page we are only using the standard icon boxes and not the LayerSlider or the essential grid plugin.
What I noticed is that if I add a text block under the icon boxes with a number of text rows, the footer will get normal after a certain number of rows.
Please have a look at the page now.Hi Jordan, thanks for helping.
The site is under development on a temporary domain.
This is a page with little content and high footer: http://wimaxprepaid.com/news/
This is a normal page: http://wimaxprepaid.com/solutions/carrier-wifi/
