Unfortunately, it is not working as stable as I hoped. I still have to log in, go to Revisions, go to the previous one, save, go back to the one I created via API and save – then the content is shown.
This means somehow, when the Revision is used, any Content will be copied back into the Post meta – what means, their is a way or method to do that within Enfold/AVIA. It is not possible in anyway to make this accessible via the WordPress API?

Many thanks. With this Information, I tried a more complex Plan B. So far that seems working:
I switched the View in the Backend of the Page to DEFAULT EDITOR, which I want to be managed via API. That seems to have to stay permanently. I can still Edit the Page by converting it back to ALB, Changing it, and switch it back to Default Editor.
Additionally, the Process via API has to be a little bit different:
– I get the Page via API
– I update the Page via API (like before), but set it to Status DRAFT
– I update the Page again, but only to change the Status from DRAFT to PUBLISHEDI tried this now several times, and it seems is working. When someone has a better solution, please let me know. :-)

Many thanks. Did this mean, I cannot update it via API or did I have to put the content additionaly in another field?
When I retrieve the Post, I only see one Meta-Field (footnote:).

Can you provide me with an email address, then I send you an Invite to UH VPN. That is easy to setup and allow you access to the Server. we cannot easily open up the Server for the Public, that is a kind of risk. There are several Websites on it, some with sensitive data. Or when you know another FAQ Plugin with similar functionality, I can switch.
After some research it seems the update damage in someway the Quick CSS. It was still to see, but not used. I copied it from a backup that I found, saved it and it works again.

Sorry, maybe I did not describe it right:
The BVG_Cover_Stapel Image is fine for the moment, but I would make it larger. So like in HTML I would say width=600, height=800. My Developer tells me, Enfold did not allow this via CSS, he would have to add something in functions.php to make it happened. I would double-check if this is really the only way to do it. I would normaly thing there is a way to use Custom CSS, but in this case both Images – indepedend from their size – reference to the same CSS-Tag.

I have a question that maybe is related. When you look on my Website, there is an BVG_Cover_Stapel. The size seems to me is set (by my developer?) in functions.php. What makes not much sense, it would be overwritten when a theme update occurs. My goal is to make this image larger and/or the image (die-referenz.png) smaller.
What is the right way, to change the size for a specific image in the theme? The Style is img.avia_image, but that is used for all images.
That was not really the question. What is the reason, that a clone process did not work?
Copying all files from htdocs and all database should work. The Information for example what Colors are set, the path to the logo, all this information has to be stored “somewhere”, but it seems their go lost when I clone a website. And that should be not a problem to allow that.
You did not hire a freelancer only for deployment. Deployment is part of the roll-out process when you have a Staging Server and a Live Server. Sometimes that is even used only for Content Changes. Finally, at the moment it prevents to use Enfold for any kind of medium-size or large-projects because then a STaging Process is always a mandatory requirement.
I did not have a Child Theme, so I replaced it for now in the Parent Theme.
you copy the complete file using sftp or ftp and replace it in this location.

Did you check avia-snippet-cookieconsent.js if it is correct?
I did two mistakes first:
First, I did a wget on https://github.com/KriesiMedia/enfold-library/blob/master/temp_fixes/Enfold_4_6_3/avia-snippet-cookieconsent.js , but this contains than information from github.
Than I copy&paste the code but did it wrong so that CR/LF comes in, destroying part of the JS.
After I ensure, the file was correct, deletes my Browser Cache and the Minified JS Cache in WordPress (Using WP Fastest Cache), it was working again. I used the same patch on two others Servers, where after an update the same problem occurs and it fixed it too.

I have a Follow Up Problem:
I korrected the JS File.
But now when I update Enfold to a New Version, I got an error:
“An error occurred while updating Enfold: The update cannot be installed because we will be unable to copy some files. This is usually due to inconsistent file permissions. js/avia-snippet-cookieconsent.js.orig”
So i deleted the file js/avia-snippet-cookieconsent.js.orig and try to update again. But the error persist, like somehow the Update Mechanism did not check again.
Any hints ?

Can be closed.
the Plugin “Counter Number Showcase” create the problem. It did not have any problems with an earlier version of Enfold, but now it block Animation.
